Retired Army Lieutenant Colonel Robert Heffington issued an open letter to West Point graduates earlier this week blasting the superintendent, commandant, and dean of the military academy for contributing to a “culture of permissiveness.” The letter was subsequently posted on the website of American Military News. Heffington told The Daily Caller he wrote the letter to the USMA Class of 1963 when several of its graduates contacted him asking how Spenser Rapone, a cadet espousing radically anti-American views, was allowed to graduate. “The Superintendent refuses to enforce admissions standards or the cadet Honor Code, the Dean refuses to enforce academic

No wonder Obama got rid of so many experienced officers during his reign. Looks like a deliberate decision to ruin one of the most heralded military academies in the world. Housecleaning is needed immediately.

Been aware of this for several years, can not believe conditions so bad at my beloved WP. Need a complete cleaning out of Admin. Honor violations were always a very serious breach of Cadet oath immediate separation from Corps overnite, gone by noon or sooner. Failing just one class, second exam failure, out the gate.
P/C environment rampant there. Now, just a very good looking lib arts school. Shame...

Turning the military and the academies into a social experiment where political correctness was the norm and the warriors were systematically retired started under Clinton and was expedited under Obama. I am surprised General Mattis and General Kelly were still around. We need to put the warriors back in charge of both the military and the academies.

When affirmative action enters the picture, standards, by definition, decline.
I knew of a petite girl, who was admitted to West Point - perhaps because she is about 12 1/2 percent mexican american. And female.
She was eliminated due to physical inadequacy - apparently fainted after one of the multi- mile runs. -
It was not that long ago where she would not have been admitted.

Christmas came early for the liberal Big Three Networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) on Thursday when former President George W. Bush spoke out against the Donald Trump administration. In a disgusting display of sudden respect for a long time political foe, the network’s championed Bush’s hammering of the current president. And the icing on their anti-Trump cake was former President Obama doing the exact same thing too. “Today, the 43rd President made no mention of the 45th, but his focus was clear,” touted White House Correspondent Margaret Brennan during CBS Evening News. “He suggested that an America first mindset is

“What is the difference between a socialist and a Democrat on taxes?” asked Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) during Wednesday’s CNN-hosted town hall debate in Washington, D.C. Sanders could not or would not answer the question; “I don’t know the answer to that,” said the self-described “democratic socialist” senator from Vermont. Sanders heralded “Denmark, and Sweden, and Norway, and Finland,” falsely framing the Scandinavian countries as having a “higher standard of living” than America. America’s “free enterprise system,” said Cruz, has been history’s greatest generator of prosperity, adding, "Bernie likes to glorify socialism, but if you

Former President George W.
