Tampa man: Edible marijuana made

Tampa Bay Times, by Langston Taylor

Original Article

TAMPA — A Tampa man says edible marijuana caused him to try to exit a plane mid-flight and then assault passengers and crew in July. Joseph Hudek IV was on a Delta flight from Seattle to Beijing when he tried to open a door and then punched an attendant and passenger who were helping to subdue him. In an affidavit, Hudek said he ingested the drugs in Seattle just before getting on the plane. "My understanding is that it was legal to buy and consume marijuana in the state," he wrote. "After purchasing the edible marijuana, I ate it." That was enough for a

Comments:
If you want your life to be simple and anonymous, avoid freaking out on commercial airliners. People doing crack, meth, PCP, etc., or else are extremely drunk, are the ones who bust up the joint and get taken away in handcuffs. Marijuana does not cause aggressive behavior. Hudek was on something stronger than pot.

Maureen Dowd pigged out on some delicious candy

http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/2014/06/maureen_dowd_marijuana_freaks_out_ny_times.html

but the candy turned out to be marijuana candy, and it doesn´t take much in the way of edibles to get a good buzz on.

So MoDo had to retire to her hotel room and rest off the high. She writes: "I was panting and paranoid, sure that when the room-service waiter knocked and I didn´t answer, he´d call the police and have me arrested for being unable to handle my candy." (As any writer worth his salt would know, that´s a great sentence.)

And "As my paranoia deepened, I became convinced that I had died and no one was telling me." We´ve tried to tell you this for year, hon, but you didn´t believe us until you ate that candy.

One writer with some experience in the pot business found out MoDo´s actual candy dosage, and calculated that she had eaten about 90 times more than she should have. This stuff shouldn´t be trifled with; it isn´t Werther´s hard caramels. It´s potent. No wonder Ms. Dowd had to go to bed. If you take a 9 overdose of anything else, including aspirin, you will die. Marijuana isn´t toxic in that way. If you get too high, just lie down and try not to freak out. The Yes Album works for me.

The Naples Cat Sanctuary was a place where abused and neglected felines were supposed to be safe. Scores of cats roamed its three acres in the rural Golden Gate area. A fence kept them penned in. But the fence didn’t keep out an intruder that in a week killed at least six of the sanctuary’s inhabitants, convincing its owner to shut the place down. The sanctuary’s caretaker estimated that this brings the total number of cats killed in the past year to 60. The perpetrator may be another cat. A very big one. An endangered Florida panther, in fact. The caretaker, Tracy Schneider,

Fresh off of its triumph in the Alabama Senate race, the Washington Post returns to its primary mission — taking down the President of the United States. I have been observing politics for a long time, and have never seen anything like the present moment. The Democrats have dialed the hysteria meter up to 12, and absolutely everything is a crisis. One type of faux crisis is particularly transparent. It is exemplified by the Left’s current fit over net neutrality, a policy that few understand and, I think, fewer still have much reason to care about. The part that may attract attention is the proposal that no student, faculty member or staffer can materially disrupt a scheduled campus event. That would include a student

Has the first year of the Trump administration been a retreat from the global agenda or paradoxically fueled its expansion? Superficially it resembles a retreat.
