The actress, who has emerged as a Hollywood voice in the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault scandal, revealed that Twitter had locked her account on Wednesday night. Rose McGowan had a hold placed on her Twitter account Wednesday night, an act that quickly sparked outrage among the many users who have been following her posts ever since news first broke of the allegations against Harvey Weinstein. The actress, who has emerged as a Hollywood voice after finding herself thrust into the center of the developing story of sexual misconduct, harassment and assault allegations against the movie mogul, took to her Instagram
This is ridiculous. She went heavy after Ben Affleck, with facts, and someone took offence. Looks like they´re circling the wagons to protect the stars who used Harvey as an example. I don´t think it´s going to work this time.
These sanctimonious Hollywood "stars" coming out now and telling of their encounters amuses me to some extent. Not the actions, but the reactions a year ago when DT said in an off the cuff interview that rich and powerful men have women who will do anything because of the man´s position. Why didn´t all the parties aggrieved by Weinstein come out then and say that while they did not like Trumps demeanor, politics...whatever, he was correct. Weinstein is a classic example of a man who would have been hit with harassment suits for walking on the same side of the street if he were not as powerful in an industry that has no compass.
Some ldotters are very tired of all the Weinstein stories. I get that. This story is exploding the left against the left. Sure many of them keep trying to drag President Trump into it one way or another, but that is not working. My young adult daughter, (who refuses to talk politics with me, because it stresses her out),is enthralled with this story. She keeps talking about the phonies and hypocrites and what a terrible place Hollywood is. This story impacts young people. This is an eye opener for many of them. Tearing off the blinds they may have. I myself am just enjoying watching the left attack their own. It is like a big bag of trash got tipped out. The "Garbage´ is out there for all to see. No hiding it and no "sweeping" it under the rug right now.
most interesting are the numerous "celebrities" who have tweeted to her defense. And almost without exception they are comparing her tweets to those of Pres Trump. A la - twitter suspends Rose McGowan but allows DJT to "spew his hatred". It would almost appear that they´re tweeting according to someone´s orders.
Bring Trump into the conversation. Compare and contrast. Carry on...
As we grow more tech happy, this is the future. Google, Facebook, Twitter will be in control and can shut down any and everything they don´t like. Censorship will take on a new face. And I seriously doubt conservatives will be welcome.
President Trump once again took up his criticism of the FBI’s second-in-command, Andrew McCabe, Sunday morning after spending much of the previous day questioning McCabe’s position in the bureau. Apparently quoting a segment from Fox News, the president alleged McCabe used his FBI email to promote his wife’s campaign for the Virginia state Senate. “.@FoxNews-FBI’s Andrew McCabe, ´in addition to his wife getting all of this money from M (Clinton Puppet), he was using, allegedly, his FBI Official Email Account to promote her campaign. You obviously cannot do this. These were the people who were investigating Hillary Clinton,´" Trump tweeted.
Friday on FNC’s “America’s Newsroom,” Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) said a congressional committee had evidence FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe indicated Hillary Clinton was going to get an “HQ special” regarding the investigation of her unauthorized email server and ties to the Clinton Foundation during her tenure as secretary of state. Gaetz, a member of the House Judiciary Committee, described the circumstances at the FBI regarding the investigation as “extreme pro-Hillary Clinton bias.” “The Judiciary Committee is engaged in an investigation, particularly as it relates to the handling of the Hillary Clinton email scandal and any potential investigations of the
Seventy-year-old Robert L. Brady has until Jan. 11 to give up Bane, the mixed-breed sidekick that his psychologist deemed as an emotional support dog. His Conway-area condominium association won an arbitration order Dec. 12 requiring the Vietnam veteran to surrender the 4-year-old dog because it exceeds the community’s 35-pound weight limit for pets. Bane weighs about 41 pounds. The canine now faces an uncertain future even as assistance dogs have gained greater access to communities, restaurants and shops.
Sen. Bob Corker, among President Donald Trump’s most frequent Republican critics, said Thursday that he has developed a new empathy for the president’s “fake news” crusade against the media after reports swirled about a “Corker kickback” that some allege prompted the senator to change his vote on the White House-backed tax reform bill. “I told him that I’d had a healthy respect for the media. I deal with them all the time and, you know, to attack the media has not been something I´ve done. But I had a newfound empathy for him in watching how a totally debunked story”
The alleged Port Authority bomber spent an hour spilling his guts to investigators at Bellevue Hospital on Monday — saying he picked the specific hallway because of Christmas posters and that he was avenging violence against Muslims around the world, law enforcement sources said. Akayed Ullah mentioned President Trump and past administrations during the grilling, and said his anger was fueled by decades of anti-Muslim bloodshed in Gaza, Syria and Iraq. Ullah, a Bangladeshi immigrant, said the attack was specifically inspired by ISIS — “not Al-Qaeda” — and also mentioned seeing Christmas posters before detonating the device in the underground
A whistleblower claiming to have been privy to text messages exchanged between ACU Strategic Partners official, Alex Copson, and then-incoming National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, appears to have been lying. Flynn had reportedly told Copson that sanctions against Russia would be “ripped up,” in an effort to boost relations between Washington and Moscow. According to AT&T phone records, the conversation did not take place as the whistleblower claims. POLITICO reports: In an account provided to Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) in June — but made public only last week — the whistleblower said Alex Copson, a top official at ACU Strategic
On Monday, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour President Donald Trump should resign over the sexual misconduct allegations against him. Gillibrand said, “President Trump should resign. These allegations are credible, they are numerous. I’ve heard these women’s testimony, and many of them are heartbreaking. And President Trump should resign his position.” She added, “Whether he will ever hold himself accountable is something you really can’t hold your breath for. And so, Congress should have hearings. They should do their investigation. They should have appropriate investigations of his behavior and hold him accountable.”
Several women who have accused US President Donald Trump of sexual assault and harassment were expected Monday to call on Congress to open an investigation. A press conference by the women will be hosted by Brave New Films, a media company that recently produced a clip detailing sexual harassment or assault claims by 16 women against Trump. A press release from Brave New Films on Sunday said the women would relate their accounts of Trump’s alleged “groping, fondling, forcibly kissing, humiliating, and harassing women.” The White House has dismissed all of the accusations as lies. During Trump’s presidential campaign, more than
Vapid Hollywood dinosaur Chelsea Handler came under fire recently for calling White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders a ‘harlot’ and ‘trollop’ because of the make-up she wears during press briefings. James Woods moved in with the kill shot Saturday morning. Woods tweeted a video of Chelsea Handler being urinated on with a caption, “This person berates the character of @SarahHuckabee on a daily basis.”#ChelseaHandlerHumanUrinal That hashtag is amazing and that’s why we love James Woods! In case you missed it, here’s Handler calling a young Christian married mother of three children, WH Press Sec Sarah Sanders a ‘harlot’ and

HOUSTON — Houston Texans coach Bill O’Brien says he and general manager Rick Smith have discussed signing Colin Kaepernick in the wake of last week’s season-ending injury to Deshaun Watson. When asked about Kaepernick on Monday, a day after Tom Savage struggled in a loss to the Colts, O’Brien said: “We talk about the roster and what’s out there every day, Rick and I.” When pressed on whether they have specifically discussed adding Kaepernick, he said: “Oh yeah, everybody gets discussed.” Kaepernick, the former 49ers quarterback, began the national anthem protest movement by kneeling last season. He remains unsigned and
HOUSTON — The satisfaction the Houston Astros took in winning Game 3 of the World Series on Friday night had to compete with the fact that their first baseman, Yuli Gurriel, was caught on camera making a racist gesture in reference to Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Yu Darvish, who is from Japan. Gurriel, who is from Cuba, had just homered off Darvish in the bottom of the second inning to give Houston a 1-0 lead over the Dodgers. As he sat in the dugout, he could be seen smiling and then raising his hands as if to stretch the side
Everyone suspected the sketchy Steele Dossier was what corrupt FBI and DOJ officials used to get the October 2016 FISA warrant against Trump. FBI and DOJ officials refuse to answer that question publicly. Despite a hundred different ways congressional investigators have asked the question, and despite numerous on-camera questions to FBI and DOJ officials about the 2016 FISA process, no-one had definitively confirmed the Christopher Steele ‘Russian Dossier’ was the underlying evidence for the 2016 FISA application to gain wiretaps and electronic surveillance upon presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Marie Harf: "The strategy that has led to a virtual defeat of ISIS in the caliphate...is largely a strategy that was laid out during the #Obama administration by military commanders." #TheFive https://t.co/2xXlJT1NBy pic.twitter.com/XU6yAqDQV9 — Fox News (@FoxNews) December 28, 2017Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “The Five,” former Obama State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf said the “strategy” that led ISIS’s defeat was “laid out during the Obama administration by military commanders.” She added, “President Trump has loosened the rules of engagement. He has allowed the military to use more bombs for example and so I think that has helped. But for me, the

Washington — During a night of heavy drinking at an upscale London bar in May 2016, George Papadopoulos, a young foreign policy adviser to the Trump campaign, made a startling revelation to Australia’s top diplomat in Britain: Russia had political dirt on Hillary Clinton.About three weeks earlier, Mr. Papadopoulos had been told that Moscow had thousands of emails that would embarrass Mrs. Clinton, apparently stolen in an effort to try to damage her campaign.Exactly how much Mr. Papadopoulos said that night at the Kensington Wine Rooms with the Australian, Alexander Downer, is unclear. But two months
The most important lesson from Judge Roy Moore´s U.S. Senate loss to Doug Jones in Alabama is that the reliable red state is dead. (snip) There are no more reliably red states. I believed this before Alabama; if the red state wasn´t dead before Alabama, it was on life support. There are only blue and pur-blue states. The mostly coastal blue states are unequivocally majority-Democrat. What, then, turns a pur-blue state red? The answer is so simple that it´s often overlooked: turnout, turnout, turnout
The Trump administration announced on Friday it will not be sending military aid totaling $255 million to Pakistan. At least five emails determined to be classified were found among 2,800 documents stored on a laptop belonging to Anthony Weiner, whose then-wife Huma Abedin was deputy chief of staff to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
