Prisons selling inmates
cold case playing cards

Oklahoma authorities are hoping to solve killings and other cold cases by selling playing cards that feature the cases to prisoners. The first in a planned series of decks is already on sale for $1.42 at six of the state´s lockups, and a second deck is already being planned. The cards are reminiscent of those distributed to U.S. troops during the Iraq War that featured members of Saddam Hussein´s government, except these feature unsolved cases from 1978 through 2013.

Apparently several states do this - the cards are going to cost less than $1.50

Can´t hurt.
Most murders are not the only crime someone commits, likely to be in prison or have friends that he talked to in prison.

Might solve some cases, cheap enough.

Hope it works.

Rosie O’Donnell Could Be Facing Prison Time

After ex-comedian Rosie O’Donnell’s meltdown on Twitter before the Senate’s big tax vote Tuesday night, President Donald Trump can reasonably direct federal authorities to lock her up — and even to “take some money out of her fat-ass pockets,” which he once infamously cited as a personal goal. (snip) Federal law addresses O’Donnell’s actions. 18 U.S. Code § 201 criminalizes the attempted bribery of federal officials by whoever “directly or indirectly, corruptly gives, offers or promises anything of value to any public official … with intent to influence any official act.” The penalty? For Rosie, she could spend up to 15 years in jail,

There are some important things the public doesn´t know about the so-called "Trump dossier," such as whether the FBI used information from the dossier to win court permission to spy on Americans. But the most important question about the dossier is the simplest: Is it true? In a seven-hour interview with the House Intelligence Committee Wednesday, FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe repeatedly declined to answer whether the bureau has been able to verify the substantive allegations in the dossier, or even to identify a substantive allegation that has been corroborated, according to sources familiar with the questioning.

The United Nations General Assembly on Thursday voted 128-9 to condemn the Trump administration´s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel´s capital, after the U.S. warned it could decide to strip funding from countries that vote against U.S. interests. The U.S. was joined by eight other U.N. members in rejecting the resolution: Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, and Togo. Thirty-five other members abstained, including Canada. Before the vote, U.S. ambassador to the U.N. said Americans are growing tired of being disrespected. FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe informed House Intelligence Committee investigators this week that former FBI Director James Comey told him President Donald Trump requested his loyalty, a conversation the president has denied having. McCabe, according to CNN, sat this week for over 14 hours of testimony behind closed doors, during which he discussed conversations he had with Comey prior to the president firing the FBI director earlier this year. According to the report, the FBI deputy director testified Comey told him about Trump asking for his loyalty, which suggests McCabe may be able to corroborate Comey´s account. Back in June,

Hillary Clinton has all but avoided appearing at campaign events since her stunning 2016 loss, but some Democrats believe she would be a welcome voice in the 2018 midterms. Despite polling that shows Clinton with low favorability ratings, they say the former secretary of State could help Democratic candidates in congressional districts she won last year. “For me, it´s a no-brainer,” former Rep. Steve Israel (D-N.Y.), the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee chairman during the 2012 and 2014 election cycles, said in an interview. “If she´s willing to go into those districts she won, she would be extraordinarily helpful,” he said.

Former Obama national security adviser Susan Rice blasted President Trump´s recent national security policy rollout in a new op-ed, arguing the U.S. will lose its moral authority abroad as well as make a mockery out of his "America first" approach. "Relinquishing the nation’s moral authority in these difficult times will only embolden rivals and weaken ourselves. It will make a mockery of the very idea of America first," Rice wrote in The New York Times on Wednesday. "The United States’s strength has long rested not only on our unmatched military and economy, but also on the power of our ideals,"

First the Merry Christmas greeting, and now the candy-covered rooms at the White House - are the Trumps trolling the Obamas? Newly seen photos from the Red Room show Melania Trump´s take on decor for the special space - which is shown decked-out in candy canes and other sweet treats. The extravagant display brings a new holiday twist to the White House, especially since Michelle Obama walked out. (Photos) Obama previously rooted her iconic vegetable garden on the South Lawn, which was a reflection of the family´s health campaign, Let’s Move, for schools - which the Trumps have mostly done

The Baltimore Ravens sent a letter to season-ticket holders this week which was signed by team president Dick Cass blames the team´s diminished attendance on the players who protested police brutality against minorities by kneeling during the national anthem before the team´s September 24 game in London. That game was the first of many protests that day immediately following President Donald Trump´s condemnation of the protests in which he referred to demonstrating players as ´sons of b******´ during a speech in Alabama. The Ravens players have not protested since.´The numbers [of no-shows] are higher, and it is noticeable,´ read the letter,

#NeverTrumper elitist blowhards like Bill Kristol are miserable over Trump’s successful tax bill. It only further proves they are on the wrong side of history. Bill Kristol’s “inner Socialist” slipped out again. He attacked the positive response many corporations had yesterday announcing bonuses to employees and increases in capital spending. According to Bill Kristol, it’s “creepy” for a corporation to give bonuses to employees in response to tax cuts. Patriotic actor James Woods moved in for the kill shot. They wanted him dead. For years, a clandestine U.S. intelligence team had tracked a man they knew was high in the leadership of al Qaeda — an operative some believed had a hand in plotting the gruesome 2009 suicide attack in Afghanistan that killed seven CIA officers. Their pursuit was personal, and by early 2014, according to a source directly involved in the operation, the agency had the target under tight drone surveillance (Snip) Then something unexpected happened. While agents waited for the green light, the al Qaeda operative’s name, as well as information about the CIA’s classified surveillance and

In the summer of 2015, Univision anchor Jorge Ramos was on top of the world, ma. He had taken on that deplorable Donald John Trump, who was running for president. From the Washington Post: In contrast to Romney and Obama, Trump has refused multiple interview requests from Ramos, including one extended by Univision on Tuesday night. So, Ramos showed up at that Tuesday news conference determined to do what he thought necessary to get Trump to answer key questions about immigration for Univision´s audience. In practical terms: Ramos stood up and began asking questions at the start. He didn´t wait to be called
