Senator Tom Cotton Talks About Potential
for De-Certifying Iran Deal…

Conservative Treehouse, by Sundance

There is a myriad of complexity within the Iran issue that extends beyond the substantive issue of whether or not President Trump should again certify compliance with the Iran Nuclear Deal. For clarity, President Trump would not be ending the deal or ending the agreement. The President is required (every 90 days) to certify if Iran is upholding the terms of the nuclear agreement. The next certification is due on October 15th. If President Trump does not, because he cannot, certify compliance – he notifies congress. It’s up to congress to decide what to do from there. Therefore President Trump

Writer goes on to discuss the influences pressuring our legislators. Something we should always recognize and keep in mind. The same goes for pundits, journalists, essayists.

Senator Cotton can be an ally for MAGA (see immigration), or he can be a concern for MAGA (see aggressive military intervention), depending on the issue. It is also important to understand how lobbying efforts impact policy positions as they relate to military intervention. There are interests in DC pushing us toward military conflict with Iran.

Read on. Sundance talks about more than just Sen. Cotton.

In the dining room of her quaint, brick Alexandria home, Linda Nickens sat quietly as she traced her glittery, pink fingernails over an old black-and-white photo of the late Charles “Pruner” West. Nickens, who has lived at her house since 1974, has seen her collection of photos, footballs, plaques, books, awards and trinkets multiply as her once-bare walls have become full of deep-rooted memories. At the dining room table, Nickens, 72, spread out a handful of photos, going through one by one as she recounted the stories of the man some called “Doctor,” others “Pruner” or “Charlie,” but to her

LOS ANGELES (AP) Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield made it to Rose Bowl media day after all, swooping in late and providing a jolt of drama as he noted he has been dealing with ”flu-like” symptoms. The Heisman Trophy winner missed the first half of the 45-minute session Saturday morning at a downtown hotel, but arrived in time to meet with the media for the first time this week ahead of the College Football Playoff semifinal between the second-ranked Sooners and No. 3 Georgia on Monday night. President Trump should take decisive action in 2018 to support the ouster of the virulently anti-American theocracy that has ruled Iran with an iron fist and threatened its neighbors for the past four decades. The president’s first step should be to throw American support behind the brave anti-government protesters who have taken to the streets in mass demonstrations across the Islamic Republic since Thursday. The street protests continued Saturday, with demonstrations in cities including the capital of Tehran and Kermanshah. In a good first step, the U.S. State Department announced Friday that the America “strongly condemns the arrest of peaceful protesters. We

The ferocity of President Donald Trump´s recent attacks on the integrity of the FBI has sent shock waves through an agency accustomed to public adulation in recent years. Sadly, much of the presidential criticism of the bureau may be entirely legitimate. The FBI has traditionally enjoyed a highly favorable reputation among a majority of the nation´s citizens. Despite controversial programs that sometimes employed illegal forms of surveillance and enforcement methods (Snip) this reputation endured. And American presidents continued to steadfastly defend the bureau -- that is, until now.

FBI and DOJ officials refuse to answer that question publicly. Despite a hundred different ways congressional investigators have asked the question, and despite numerous on-camera questions to FBI and DOJ officials about the 2016 FISA process, no-one had definitively confirmed the Christopher Steele ‘Russian Dossier’ was the underlying evidence for the 2016 FISA application to gain wiretaps and electronic surveillance upon presidential candidate Donald Trump.
