High-Ranking Dem Sens Gave Campaign
Cash to Menendez After Indictment

Washington Free Beacon, by Joe Schoffstall

A number of high-ranking Democratic senators combined to contribute tens of thousands of dollars to Sen. Robert Menendez´s (D., N.J.) campaign committee this year, a review of Federal Election Commission records shows. Menendez, who was indicted in April 2015, is currently facing 12 counts of corruption charges that include bribery. Prosecutors have said that the senator had a "corrupt pact" with Salomon Melgen, a wealthy Florida eye doctor, a previous donor to Menendez´s campaign. Menendez himself has contributed to the campaigns of a number of top Democratic senators this year from his leadership PAC, the New Millennium PAC, the Washington Free Beacon

Seems that after blocking our President, the second favorite pastime of the legislative branch is money laundering. Time to drain the swamp.

This is the difference between Democrats and Republicans. The Dem’s stick together and the Republicans would throw him under the bus.

John Conyers Is the Albatross

National Review Online, by Rich Lowry    Original Article

There are sexual harassers, and then there is John Conyers, the Democrat from Detroit who made his congressional office an adjunct of his libido. The evidence suggests that Conyers believed that as a 27-term congressman, he was entitled to the Washington, D.C., equivalent of the Ottoman imperial harem. He routinely hit on his female staffers, and his office was a den of sexual intrigue — allegedly featuring a jealous wife and a vindictive mistress — that properly belongs in a Bravo reality show if the network ever extends its franchise to Capitol Hill. Victorious Trump moves to

Hot off a legal victory handing him control of the government’s top consumer watchdog, President Donald Trump is moving rapidly to nominate a permanent director to rein in the agency’s reach. A U.S. District Court judge in Washington on Tuesday said the administration had the right to install White House budget director Mick Mulvaney as acting director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Judge Timothy Kelly denied a request by CFPB Deputy Director Leandra English, who also claims to hold the top job, to block Mulvaney from taking the post. Her lawyer said the case isn’t over. For now, the ruling puts

Why Nancy Pelosi gave a big boost to Roy Moore

If accused child molestor Roy Moore wins the Alabama Senate seat in two weeks, he may have reason to offer thanks to the most important Democrat in Washington — House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. On Sunday’s “Meet the Press” she responded haughtily to the idea that she and her fellow Democrats should cut Rep. John Conyers loose after learning he’d paid off a staffer who accused him of sexual harassment — a story that blew the lid off the existence of a congressional slush fund to settle harassment claims. She cast doubt on the credibility of the accuser and three women who

North Korea might be able to knock out

North Korea’s launch Wednesday (Tuesday in the U.S.) of an intercontinental ballistic missile should focus our attention on the threat of the rogue nation launching an electromagnetic pulse attack that could wipe out the electric power grid serving millions of people in the U.S. and Canada. Such an attack has been downplayed by some and made the subject of fear-mongering by others over the years. But while it sounds like the plot of a science fiction movie, an electromagnetic pulse attack has become a larger issue in the past few months due to North Korea’s missile tests and stated goal

Authorities in Tampa, Fla., said Tuesday that they have arrested a man who will face murder charges in connection with four killings that sent chills through the Seminole Heights community and sparked fears of a serial killer. Howell Donaldson III was arrested at a McDonald´s restaurant in Ybor City, based on a tip given to Tampa police, Tampa´s FOX 13 reported. He will face murder charges in connection with all four killings, Stephen Hegarty, the Tampa Police Department’s public safety information coordinator, told Fox News. Police believe Donaldson acted alone, Hegarty said. Residents in working-class Seminole Heights have been on edge

WASHINGTON — More than 2,000 conservatives in tuxedos and gowns recently filled Union Station’s main hall for a steak dinner and the chance to cheer the man who saved the Supreme Court from liberal control. Justice Neil Gorsuch didn’t disappoint them, just as he hasn’t in his first seven months on the Supreme Court. “Tonight I can report that a person can be both a publicly committed originalist and textualist and be confirmed to the Supreme Court,” Gorsuch said to sustained applause from members of the Federalist Society, using terms by which conservatives often seek to distinguish themselves from more liberal

President Donald Trump is likely to control the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau for years to come. And Democrats have only themselves to blame. Trump Budget Director Mick Mulvaney and Leandra English, a legacy employee of the Obama presidency, faced off on Monday over which of them has the authority to lead the bureau amid dueling statutes after CFPB Director Richard Cordray abruptly stepped down on Friday. Mulvaney and English showed up for work and started directing employees, both attempting to use the wide-ranging power that Democrats granted the director when the agency was created in 2010. What Congressmen Are Hiding

As charges of sexual harassment and assault swept from Hollywood to Washington, Congress has faced questions about how it addresses such claims. The answer: terribly. For two decades, taxpayers have been underwriting secret payments to people who accuse lawmakers of sexual misconduct under a 1995 law called, paradoxically, the Congressional Accountability Act. The legislation applied to Congress many laws on workplace safety, employment and civil rights from which it had been exempt. In the process, it established an account to pay settlements, which prevented lawmakers from being personally liable, and created an Office of Compliance that kept charges and payments secret. Black Africans are being sold in open-air slave markets, and it’s Hillary Clinton’s fault. But you won’t hear much about that from the news media or the foreign-policy pundits, so let me explain. Footage from Libya, released recently by CNN, showed young men from sub-Saharan Africa being auctioned off as farm workers in slave markets. And how did we get to this point? As the BBC reported back in May, “Libya has been beset by chaos since NATO-backed forces overthrew long-serving ruler Col. Moammar Gadhafi in October 2011.” And who was behind that overthrow? None other than then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Under

Oh, and there are the little matters of sexual assault and governmental corruption. Finally, he´s an icon for rape -- in this instance, of the American taxpayer. Am I being harsh on poor John at 88? She reportedly criticized the Trump administration for retreating from diplomacy in recent months and said she hoped that China wouldn’t follow suit. While Clinton
