The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence is ramping up investigation into former President Barack Obama administration’s campaign to “unmask” President Donald Trump aides who were incidentally surveilled in meetings with foreign officials, The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group has learned. The committee is also intensifying a probe into Fusion GPS, a private “opposition research” company that distributed a salacious memo on Trump, called the “Trump Dossier.” Over the next two weeks the House committee is expected to privately interview former U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power, who reportedly unmasked or identified as many as 260 Americans, primarily Trump campaign or

Thanksgiving and Christmas vacations are getting close, so I have little confidence in Congress "ramping up" any investigation of anything, especially Republicans, who have never successfully investigated anything.

Not holding my breath. The sheer incompetency and track record of these lazy good for nothing blowhards assure me that the only thing spent on this investigation will be our tax dollars and some face time for these crooks. The sheer worth of their self importance could wipe out the national debt. No one has been held accountable for any of the many wrong doings of the Obama administration. This will be no different. These clowns are serious only about themselves. Justice? Please...give me a break.

This is why the Dims always get away with this crap.

Well all the unmasking documents are at the obama library and can’t be seen for 5 years. My guess is that these documents have already joined Hillary’s 30,000 missing emails. If the documents are even asked for which is a big doubt the obama library staff just won’t be able to locate them. It’ll be a big mystery! They’ll claim that maybe they never got them. The deep state takes care of their own. Of course we won’t find this out for years to come.

Former Obama-era Attorney General Eric Holder called for mass protests if President Trump fires special counsel Robert Mueller. This is the second warning Holder has issued this week in respect to rumors about President Trump relieving Mueller of his duties as special counsel. “ABSOLUTE RED LINE: the firing of Bob Mueller or crippling the special counsel’s office. If removed or meaningfully tampered with, there must be mass, popular, peaceful support of both. The American people must be seen and heard – they will ultimately be determinative,” tweeted Holder on Sunday. (Tweet)

Education Secretary Betsy DeVos delivered a commencement address at the University of Baltimore on Monday, where she encouraged graduates to listen to people with whom they disagree before joining the "chorus of conflict." Unfortunately, some students and professors didn´t hear that advice, because they skipped the ceremony in protest of DeVos.Addressing recent conflicts on campuses, the secretary encouraged graduates of the school, which primarily serves nontraditional students, to "[embrace] the power of silence." "We will do well to first listen, study, ponder, then speak to genuinely engage those with whom we disagree," DeVos said in her prepared remarks. "Voices that

Today, President Donald Trump is delivering a speech outlining the administrations’ larger national security strategy. The remarks are much anticipated as President Trump is expected to give the general electorate their first understanding of the Trump Doctrine: using economic leverage to achieve national security objectives. CTH readers have spent the past year discussing examples of how President Trump uses economic leverage as the core element of his geopolitical strategy. However, it is not discussed, nor has it been accepted/recognized, by MSM or the broader electorate. The speech is anticipated to begin at 2:00pm EST: UPDATE: Video Added

In report after report following Donald Trump’s election, career staffers at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration kept saying the same thing: climate change is real, serious and man-made. That’s surprising because Trump has called global warming a hoax. His political appointees at the Commerce Department, which oversees NOAA, have complained to its staff, but stopped short of demanding changes or altering the findings. So the reports, blog posts and public updates kept flowing. The modern academy, I felt, was so far gone that restoration was no longer possible.Indeed, I now believe that complete collapse is the only hope for the future, but as Woody Allen said about death, I´d rather not be there when it happens. Three reasons determined my course of action. For one thing, administration had come to deal less with academic issues and more with rules of conduct and punitive codes of behavior, as if it were a policing body
