Las Vegas survivor faces backlash

Thomas Gunderson shot in the leg during the Las Vegas massacre on Sunday found the strength to stand for President Trump when he visited recovering victims in the hospital earlier this week. The president and first lady Melania Trump visited Gunderson, who was among the more than 500 people wounded at the Route 91 Harvest Festival last weekend, at the city’s University Medical Center on Wednesday, where they posed for photographs and chatted. (Snip) Some even saw Gunderson´s choice to stand as a political statement after NFL players across the league chose to kneel during the national anthem to protest racial injustice. Gunderson

It has been suggested that the SJWs be called ´Peacocks´ instead, by Scott Adams. It´s an excellent idea. Alinski them at every opportunity.

And I doubt a stand-up guy like Gunderson cares much about what the peacocks think about him.

Not hard to understand really.

Deep down, these social justice warriors know they are cowards. They just parrot what they hear and convince themselves they are brave by attacking people who are just minding their own business. It is the surprise caused by the unwarranted attack that gets them off.

When they see true courage it holds a mirror up to their pathetic shriveled soul.

The criticisms are by uninformed or misinformed idiots.

One of the moronic, entirely counterfactual comments was about the President "about to make it impossible for almost everyone to get health care".

What a stupid lie. ObamaCare is making it impossible for most to get affordable care that they can actually use. Having a ZeroCare card (paid for by other people, largely) is not the same as having actual health insurance. You get four free doctor visits per year, and everything else you pay 100% out of your own pocket, not one red cent of insurance payment until you hit $5,000 or $6,000 deductible, each year. For most folks this means two things:

1) ALL your health care costs other than the doctor´s office visit will be paid by YOU, a huge percentage of folks do not go over their big deductible every single year

2) a whole lot of folks cannot come up with the $5 or 6K needed, so they are still charity cases, but they think/ pretend to have health care, because they have a little cardboard card.

The man is clearly a good, patriotic man.

It’s no secret finishing college is more difficult for low-income students. But new government data show just how hard that struggle can be. At four-year colleges, just under half of students who received Pell Grants — federal aid awarded to millions of low income families each year — went on to earn a bachelor’s degree within six years, according to a Money analysis of Education Department data released Thursday. That’s compared with 67% of students who did not receive the grant. What’s going on? One study of European countries just before and during the Great Recession found that a one-percentage-point increase in the unemployment rate is associated with an 0.5 percent decline in the overall mortality rate. Let’s put the Uranium One scandal in perspective: The cool half-million bucks the Putin regime funneled to Bill Clinton was five times the amount it spent on those Facebook ads — the ones the media-Democrat complex ludicrously suggests swung the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump. The Facebook-ad buy, which started in June 2015 — before Donald Trump entered the race — was more left-wing agitprop (ads pushing hysteria on racism, immigration, guns, etc.) than electioneering. The Clintons’ own long-time political strategist Mark Penn estimates that just $6,500 went to actual electioneering. (You read that right: 65 hundred dollars.) By

The major developing stories this week have been so scantily and poorly covered in the mainstream press that you may want an easy primer. To fully understand it you have to look at alternative media because just as Harvey Weinstein counted on complicit enablers -- his colleagues, victims and the press -- Hillary Clinton, Robert Mueller and a cast of characters, including a press determined to cover for them have hidden what occurred. It’s taken some time, to be sure, but the evidence of their wrongdoing is becoming harder and harder to hide. Stalling and misdirection are their last redoubt.
