Schumer praises McCain for
ObamaCare repeal opposition

The Senate’s top Democrat offered praise for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) after he said he would oppose the latest ObamaCare repeal bill, which narrows the chance that Republicans can get the legislation to President Trump’s desk. “John McCain shows the same courage in Congress that he showed when he was a naval aviator,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said an hour after McCain’s statement. “I have assured Senator McCain that as soon as repeal is off the table, we Democrats are intent on resuming the bipartisan process.” McCain is the second Republican, after Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.), to announce

My opinion of McCain has steadily gone down the same as one of the navy planes he was flying.
He is useless and can take leave anytime. I won´t miss him. I think he is a mean man although he prefers to be called a Maverick.

Not news - we already know this about McCain. Learning we shouldn´t expect anything more from him. And if ´repeal´ is off the table - what process then, is there for ANYone to resume, bi-partisan or otherwise? Dems plan to tank it as it is. And Republicans have their heads up their butts.

President Trump should state if you don´t pass this your exemption from it will end and so will the subsidies. Let the Democrats like Schumer and McCain embrace the full effects of that odious legislation and show the American people what they really passed! So far the Republicans have done everything possible to soften the financial impact of "The Affortable Care Act" on the public. Time to end the fairy tale that the Feds can lower healthcare costs.

Speaking of the Subsidies, WHY have they NOT been cut off? Trump should do it now. Why should WE, THE TAXPAYERS, pay for their Healthcare when they can´t FIX it so that everyone can afford it? What´s wrong with that picture!! As for McCain, what a Legacy he will leave! Voting NO! Being a "Maverick"! I think his Legacy will be he´s a nasty, mean old man who should have retired a long time ago. He´s only there to cause trouble! Shame on him!

#5 Maybe this would help ALL of us....

Subject: Let´s do this!!
I think this is too good to be true. I would love to see term limits as after 12 years in Congress, they aren´t too crazy about making American great again, they are thinking about the money and Lobbyist gifts along with the next election.

The Trump Rule
This makes way too much sense not to be passed on. But at least we can make our wishes known and hope.
I’m with Trump on this one.

President Trump is asking everyone to forward this email to a minimum of 20 people, and to ask each of those to do likewise. In three days, most people in the United States will have the message. This is an idea that should be passed around, regardless of political party.

The TRUMP Rule
Congressional Reform Act of 2017
1. No Tenure / No Pension.
A Congressman / woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they´re out of office.

2. Congress (past, present, & future) participates in Social Security.

All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people.
It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.

4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.

7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective 7/1/17. (This date has to be changed!)

The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women.
Congress made all these contracts for themselves.

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career.
The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators should serve their term(s), then go home and go back to work.

If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people, then it will only take three days for most people in the U.S. to receive the message.

It´s time!
Pass it on. Let´s drain the swamp

From an article on glioblastoma, especially in frontal lobes:

Patients with primary intrinsic brain tumors can experience neurological, cognitive, and psychiatric symptoms that greatly affect daily life. In this review, we focus on changes in personality and behavior, mood issues, hallucinations, and psychosis, because these are either difficult to recognize, to treat, or are understudied in scientific literature. (Snip)

After surgery, brain tumor patients are more likely to underestimate their psychological problems and the negative impact of changes to their emotional functioning, interpersonal relationships, neurocognitive functioning, and coping skills.23 This can be distressing for partners and others who are closely involved.23 Moreover, lack of awareness of deficits can have a major impact on the outcome of rehabilitation after treatment.24 As social and behavioral problems are often very difficult to detect in clinical neuro-oncological practice, but can affect the lives of patients and their partners in a very profound way, these issues are of special concern.

Add the brain surgery last month and the need for clarity in legislating for tax reform, repealing Obamacare and dealing with a dangerous world. He served his country long enough and should resign.

And any of you are surprised? This is the malevolent idiot that was the first half of the ´McCain-Feingold´ campaign finance reform effort eventually rejected by the Supreme Court. Can anyone name anything he accomplished in the Senate that is worthy of note? Wisconsin had the sense to eject Feingold in 2010 and drove a stake through his heart in his 2016 attempt to return to the ´trough´. Sadly Arizona keeps inflicting McCain not only on themselves, but on the rest of us as well. I deeply regret supporting McCain in 2008 and sincerely believe his idiocy is what gave us Obama. There are those that will criticize me for not having sympathy for a man with a terminal illness. To them I say, the day you are born you acquire a terminal illness and that is not an excuse for leaving a hot mess behind you as you exit this vale of tears.

Former President George W. Bush emerged from retirement on Thursday to stage a broad attack on President Donald Trump and the movement that supports him. It was a call to national unity — against Trump and his supporters, who were reduced to labels and caricatures: “protectionism,” “isolationist sentiments,” and the like. “Too often, we judge other groups by their worst examples

Bush Institute, the 43rd U.S. president rattled off a thinly veiled litany of complaints about the current commander-in-chief, focusing on both his tone and his isolationist policy choices. ´Our young people need positive role models,´ he said. ´Bullying and prejudice in our public life sets a national tone, provides permission for cruelty and bigotry, and compromises the moral education of children.´

Democratic Florida Rep. Frederica Wilson is laughing and bragging after White House chief of staff John Kelly said he was “stunned” Thursday that Wilson criticized President Donald Trump’s call to the widow of a dead soldier. “You mean to tell me that I’ve become so important…that the White House is following me and my words? This is amazing. That’s amazing. That is absolutely phenomenal. I’ll have to tell my kids that I’m a rock star now,” Wilson told Miami Fox affiliate WSVN-TV, while laughing. Damning new evidence appears to show that Hillary Clinton used her office as Secretary of State to confer benefits to Russia in exchange for millions of dollars in donations to her foundation and cash to her husband. But there’s more. It seems it was all covered up for years by the same three people who are now involved in the investigation of President Donald Trump over so-called Russian “collusion.” (Snip) What’s more, Holder was a member of the “Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States” which approved the uranium sale to the Russians in 2010.

A Massachusetts elementary school has canceled its Halloween events and is celebrating ´black and orange spirit day´ instead. Boyden Elementary School´s principal sent a letter to parents this week saying that it had decided to cancel its traditional Halloween parade on October 31 because it was ´not inclusive of all students´ and was ´difficult´ for many. Without specifying which students the parade excluded, Principal Brendan Dearborn said the school would instead hold a ´black and orange spirit day´.  Children are allowed to dress in those colors but cannot come to school in costume. They are however allowed to wear costumes to an

For fark’s sake. The guy’s accused of rape, by more than one woman. What sort of behavior does she think “invited” that? Even his somewhat less egregious offenses are inexplicable in terms of an invitation. Does anyone think Lauren Sivan put out the vibe upon meeting famous Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein that she was hoping to watch him furtively whack it into a potted plant in a dark corner of an empty restaurant kitchen? The more aggressive harassment is, the harder it is to explain in terms of a misconstrued female “invitation.” Actual assault is plainly indefensible, yet here’s Eddie

Judge Andrew Napolitano, Fox News senior judicial analyst, weighed in on the report, telling FOX Business’ Stuart Varney on “Varney & Co.,” “The significance is an FBI acknowledgement that Huma Abedin, Mrs. Anthony Weiner, when she had a top security clearance as the number two assistant to Hillary Clinton when Hillary was Secretary of State, regularly sent copies of sensitive material to her own laptop so she could look at it at night, either knowing or forgetting that her husband had access to it as well.” Napolitano said this gives insight into the State Department’s casual approach to top secret

WASHINGTON — A young Barack Obama questioned his place in the world and his racial identity, agonized over whether he´d make enough money as a community organizer, and lamented his incompatibility with his ex-girlfriend in 30 pages of letters he wrote to her that are now being archived by Emory University in Atlanta. The two most recent presidents on Thursday blasted the state of US politics in events that were separated by less than 20 miles. First, it was former President George W. Bush. The most recent former Republican president lambasted a political culture that caused "bigotry" to seem "emboldened." The public comments were Bush´s most pointed since President Donald Trump took office in January. "In recent decades, public confidence in our institutions has declined," the 43rd president said at an event in New York hosted by his namesake institute. "Our governing class has often been paralyzed

Hey, mainstream media! We finally found it — a real Russia scandal involving the 2016 election. With actual evidence of criminal wrongdoing and everything! So come on, New York Times, CNN and MSNBC, let’s ... Hey, where’d everybody go? For months I’ve been doing TV hits as the token conservative and getting grilled over “Russiagate.” Did Donald Trump and the Russians collude to steal the election from Hillary Clinton? And for months I’ve been asking the same questions: Where is the evidence of an actual crime? And since “collusion” isn’t necessarily against the law, what actual crime are Democrats and their media
