NFL players lobby Roger Goodell
for formal league involvement
in racial justice causes

Washington Examiner, by Emily Jashinsky

A team of four current and former NFL players is lobbying commissioner Roger Goodell to engage the league in fighting for the cause of social justice, even asking him to formally designate November as activism awareness month. Current players Michael Bennett (Seattle Seahawks), Torrey Smith (Philadelphia Eagles), and Malcolm Jenkins (Philadelphia Eagles), along with former player Anquan Boldin, sent Goodell and another executive a 2,800-word memorandum in August requesting the league invest significant resources in the cause. The memo, available in full here, is specific and thoughtful, but its requests would almost certainly prove divisive among fans, many of whom are

Comments:
Is Goodell stupid enough to do this? If he does he can just watch an even bigger decline in viewership. And you know if he doesn´t the protests from the losers like Kaepernick, et al will be massive. This is going to get ugly. Rush did a long segment on this today. He said you could buy a ticket to the game tonight of 49ers and Rams for the price of a pretzel at the concession stand. Link below. I have little sympathy for them.

These players have millions of dollars. Why don´t they start a social justice league and see how it works? Why would they get to tell an owner how to run a team he has paid a $1B for, and they have paid nothing?

If this continues, game tickets will be competing with concessions for the lowest prices we´ve ever seen. Because very few people will have any interest in such behavior. Even many sports casters are turning so hard left they can scarcely keep their leftist utopian traps shut.

But the the NFL makes this their official policy, they are history and I will NEVER watch another NFL game.

Mke all players wear black shoes and black arm bands. Change the touch down signal from two hands raised to that big single fist raised - All White players should be made to resign to make room fo mo black players. And they should not allow those ray-cist whites into the staydeeyum. And game shoudl only be played on black colored TVs..since mos TV is black anyway these dayz. Dat outta em-pruf da game. Formally aligning the league with leftist politics is bound to alienate at least half the NFL fans. If that´s what the league wants to do, they are also bound to have a lot less fans watching NFL football games in the future. That´s a business decision that the NFL will have to make for itself.
