BELLEFONTE, Pa. – A son of former Penn State University assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky pleaded guilty Friday to charges he pressured a teenage girl to send him naked photos and asked her teen sister to give him oral sex. Jeffrey Sandusky´s plea deal comes a week before his trial was slated to begin on the charges, and nearly six years after his father was arrested in a child molestation case that shook Penn State and is still working its way through criminal and civil courts. Jeffrey Sandusky pleaded guilty to all 14 counts, including solicitation of statutory sexual assault and solicitation

Shocking...The Sanduskys and Pedophile State University are in the news again

If this were Catholics, we´d never hear the end of it. Instead....The Anthony Weiner analogues of Pennsylvania rise again. This too will be quickly swept away.

Pennsylvania is having a tough run, Creepy Joe Biden and this family too...yikes

Jerry Sandusky passed down his perversion - as I recall his children were adopted - so this was a learned behavior not a genetic one.

Clues left behind by Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock -- including 50 pounds of Tannerite, 1,600 rounds of ammunition and an undisclosed amount of ammonium nitrate left in the gunman´s car at the Mandalay Bay hotel -- indicate he may have thought he would survive and escape, authorities said today. At an evening briefing on the investigation into Sunday night´s massacre, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Sheriff Joseph Lombardo tackled some of the reports and rumors that have been circulating: what looks like a notepad on a table in the leaked crime scene photos "was not a suicide note," and the

There seems to be nothing the Kremlin "fake news" merchants can´t accomplish. The Russians are now being credited with causing the breakup of Spain. "Russian propagandists scored a victory in Spain this weekend after “boldly injecting fake news and disinformation” into the debate over Catalonian independence and seemingly influencing the election results, according to U.S. information warfare experts." Each time the technique is the same: divide and conquer. "U.S. information warfare expert Molly K. President Trump got bad advice about the secession crisis in Catalonia. When Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy visited the White House last week, he said that Spain´s northeastern region would be "foolish to secede." On the contrary, the gutsy Catalans are the world´s poster-boy for populism. Their independence movement is a real revolution. America shouldn´t meddle in Spain´s internal affairs, to be sure, but we ought to recognize a kindred political movement when we see it. Ultimately, the Catalan independence movement is a response to Europe´s demographic cataclysm. Here´s what I wrote in Asia Times today: Political analysts are blinking in disbelief

One of the favorite energy ideas of the thermageddonites is that we can meet a large portion of our energy needs through energy conservation, sometimes called “negawatts.” You don’t need to supply energy you don’t consume! In California, the shutdown of our last nuclear power plant in five years, which currently supplies more electricity than all of the solar panels in the state, will supposedly be replaced by new renewable generation and “conservation.” On the global scale, energy efficiency is expected to account for more than 40 percent of greenhouse gas emissions reductions over the next couple of decades. Stephen Paddock’s mass murder in Las Vegas was unusual in several ways. Paddock was 64 years old, with no criminal record and, as far as has been reported, no history of mental illness. So he does not fit the classic “shooter” profile. On the other hand, he was not too dissimilar to James Hodgkinson; is there a trend toward 60+ would-be mass murderers? Two is not enough for a trend, but it may be something to keep an eye on. Paddock planned his crime exceptionally well, going to the length, for example, of hiding a camera in a food service cart

Steve and I have written about the efforts of Democrats and the media to convince the public that Hurricane Maria is “Trump’s Katrina.” Actually, it’s doubtful that Hurricane Katrina was “Bush’s Katrina.” In any event, there is no merit to the left’s attempt to treat President Trump’s response to Hurricane Maria as wanting, much less scandalous. (Snip) The absence of a base from which to provide hurricane relief is the result, I assume, of Puerto Rican nationalism. It certainly is not the fault of Donald Trump. WASHINGTON -- After imploring "Congress to get off its ass and do something" after the Las Vegas mass shooting, one of the Senate´s top gun-control advocates is planning on unveiling new legislation to tighten background checks. Stephen Paddock, whose arsenal included 42 guns packed into 10 suitcases in the Mandalay Bay hotel suite he used as a point of attack, did not have a criminal record and passed background checks. Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) acknowledged there´s no guarantee stricter laws would have stopped Paddock from acquiring his weapons, but “we can’t get caught in the trap of only advocating legislation that

Discussing the type of weapon shooter Stephen Paddock used to launch the heinous attack, Brokaw ranted: “Where did

Despite Israel´s repeated warnings, Barack Obama´s reckless appeasement of the Iranian regime has enabled its rise as a hegemonic threat in the Middle East region as well as a threat to international peace and security. In 2009, Obama turned his back on millions of dissidents in the streets of Tehran and other Iranian cities, who were peacefully protesting the rigged election of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as president. In 2011, Obama precipitously removed the remaining U.S. combat troops from Iraq, giving rise to ISIS’s re-emergence in Iraq from its bases in Syria. The mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico, strongly denounced Donald Trump Tuesday night after the president visited the island, calling him the “miscommunicator in chief” and “insulting.” “He was insulting to the people of Puerto Rico,” Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz said Tuesday night on MSNBC hours after meeting Trump face-to-face at a briefing with Puerto Rican leaders and the president. Beyond the briefing, Trump also toured damaged areas and helped distribute supplies, flicking paper towels into a crowd with the motion of a jump shot in basketball. Americans are increasingly confident in the news media and less so in President Donald Trump’s administration after a tumultuous year in U.S. politics that tested the public’s trust in both institutions, according to a Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll released on Tuesday. The poll of more than 14,300 people found that the percentage of adults who said they had a “great deal” or “some” confidence in the press rose to 48 percent in September from 39 percent last November. Earlier this year, Trump branded the entire industry as the “enemy of the American people.”

Should House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell be repealed and replaced? The argument for their ouster, repeated ad nauseam, is that Republicans now control both houses of Congress, so how come the leaders won’t deliver for their Republican president? But are these attacks reasonable? Why has Mr. Ryan, for instance, come in for such sustained assaults by many on the right when the chamber he controls has delivered on significant fronts for both President Trump and conservatives generally, including — but not limited to — defense, health care, financial regulation and immigration?
