Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer
to talk Dreamers over dinner
with Trump Wednesday

Washington Examiner, by Susan Ferrechio

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 9/13/2017 1:02:46 PM

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer will dine Wednesday with President Trump at the White House to talk about their desire to pass legislation to protect young illegal immigrants from deportation. It will be the second dinner Trump holds this week with Democrats as he looks to cut major deals on immigration, spending, and tax reform. Pelosi, D-Calif., and Schumer, D-N.Y., want Congress to pass a standalone bill legalizing young people who came here illegally as children. The so-called Dreamers have been protected from deportation and allowed to obtain work permits under an Obama-era action

Comments:
Danger! Danger! This scares the ever lovin´ daylights out of me. Every single one of us here knows that the Democrats NEVER compromise. I´m sick of hearing every Democrats with their usual talking points describing the ´Dreamers´ as all wonderful, tax paying people, etc. I have yet to hear ANYONE mention the MS-13 gang members, who are not small children, that Obama and his regime knowingly brought to this country. Amnesty would also to apply to them.

It is quite amazing that the politicians never talk American taxpayers over dinner. That might be why we are fed up with them.

They say that there are 800,000 and some odd "Dreamers" (illegal aliens) who the Obama crew allowed into that unlawful program. The immigration authorities say that about half of the current "Dreamer" population filed fraudulent DACA applications and were not eligible for DACA status, but that the Obama crew with a wink and a nod accepted their applications without any competent vetting being done in order to jack up the numbers. The Trump crew should now institute an extreme vetting procedure that will uncover all those fraudulent DACA reciepents and kick them out of the DACA Program as they sure don´t want hundreds of thousands of fraudulent DACA reciepents to be granted a permanent amnesty by the Congress.

WASHINGTON — Special counsel Robert Mueller says a lawyer for one of Donald Trump’s former campaign aides may have a conflict of interest. Mueller is investigating possible coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia. In court papers Monday, he said Walter Mack, the attorney for Rick Gates, may have a conflict. Gates has pleaded not guilty to federal money laundering and other charges for behavior as far back as 2012. Mack also represents a business associate of Gates who federal prosecutors in New York have charged with bilking movie investors of millions of dollars. The two cases aren’t related, but Mueller says he’s identified

Tax Cut Bill to Stop Cash

Buried in the tax reform bill the House of Representatives passed last week is a small provision — one long advocated by immigration hawks — to close a loophole that allows illegal immigrants to get cash from the government. Congress prohibited such transfer payments in 1996, but the Internal Revenue Service’s interpretation is that the prohibition does not apply to a government assistance program created after that statute. Known as the additional child tax credit, the program is designed for low-income people whose tax burden is too low to qualify for the regular $1,000-per-child credit. It allows families, in other words,

Without equating the severity of the alleged offenses (Moore’s are obviously worse), I’ve been struck by the extent to which people across the political spectrum will tolerate misconduct in politicians that they’d never, ever tolerate in their own workplaces. In most functioning corporations, if there’s pictorial evidence that a senior executive groped a woman, then that executive is forced to resign. If there are known, credible allegations that an applicant for a senior

A federal judge on Monday permanently blocked President Trump’s executive order to cut funding from so called “sanctuary cities.” Trump’s order would have removed some federal funds from cities that limit their cooperation with U.S. immigration authorities. U.S. District Court Judge William Orrick rejected the Trump administration’s argument that the measure only applies to a relatively small pool of money. Orrick also said that Trump cannot set fresh conditions on spending that Congress has previously approved. Monday’s ruling came in lawsuits brought by two California counties, Santa Clara and San Francisco.
