Dealmaker: 65% back Trump outreach
to Democrats, even most Republicans

Washington Examiner, by Paul Bedard

Original Article

A solid majority of voters support President Trump´s outreach to Democrats to make deals he can´t with Republicans, according to a new survey that endorses his new relationship with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. In the latest Rasmussen Reports survey, even 51 percent of Republican voters and self-described conservatives support the president´s actions. The survey is more bad news for Republicans because it shows GOP voters eagerly endorsing Trump´s decision to abandon his party. And it shows that voters have little faith in their House and Senate leaders to help the president. Trump has spent the summer

The thing is that he reached out to them on an issue that was already just a political hoo ha anyway. The GOP was going to cave to Dems on raising the debt ceiling, but only after a lot of harrumphing and ticking off of the base. So he went around them and made nice with the Dems. They get a win, he gets a win.

Traitors don´t get to win, and that´s what GOPe is.

The fear I have is that Trump might actually think the Dems are his friends. That they won´t impeach him the second they have the majority. And they are likely to get the majority in one or both houses the way the GOP is playing this.

It´s a nest of vipers. I hope he knows what he´s doing.

10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’”

Bedard is right. We the people have little to no faith in our legislators at all. What are they in DC for? They don´t write the bills do they?, they mostly take bribes from lobbyists for corporations that want things favorable to their interests, not ours. Who can blame our President by- passing the slothful to get the job done?

#5: The GOPe did not bring President Trump. They did all they could to prevent his being elected. They are part of the UniParty swamp.

Embracing and dancing with any of the UniParty "leaders" (Dem or Pub) will have the same outcome. That is why a new party is needed to ultimately be rid of all of them.

Time to take a step back and consider this:

1) Trump is branded a Republican, but is "Independent". He seems to have been registered with both major parties and the Reform Party, as well.

2) Trump is a dealmaker. He will make deals. He is not an ideologue - so the deals he makes will be pragmatic and not necessarily satisfying to his supporters. Some call this 3-D chess...I call it politics. So when that big, beautiful wall comes with big, beautiful gates and "comprehensive reform" that includes amnesty by whatever name, don´t be surprised or upset.

3) The two major parties are a "Uniparty", with one "conservative" only in the sense that it hangs half a step behind the "radical" other and claims to hold traditions dear. Both are institutionalized by such things as ballot access laws and public campaign financing. Both "fix" elections for their favored sons and daughters. Both put on various acts for the "booboisie". It´s just business to any/all of them. H. L. Mencken correctly described democracy as "the art and science of running the circus from the monkey cage."

Last Thursday it was announced that U.S. District Court Judge Rudolph Contreras was mysteriously recused from the Special Counsel case against General Mike Flynn, five days after Judge Contreras accepting the initial pleading. No explanation as to ‘why’? (Snip) The story has been memory holed into the concentric whirlpool of nothingness. We have speculated that U.S. District Court Judge Rudolph Contreras was recused, either by himself or by challenge, because he is also a FISA Court Judge and could have signed off on the October FISA warrant that led to the wiretapping and surveillance of General Flynn.
