Lawlessness Is Not Compassion
American Thinker, by E.W. Jackson

There is probably not an adult in America who hasn´t experienced having someone cut in line. It’s exasperating not only because it’s fundamentally unfair, but because it’s highly disrespectful of those already waiting. More confrontational personalities will tell the person to go to the end of the line. Others will say nothing. Nobody likes it. Would it make you feel any better if the line breaker walked his cute teen-aged daughter to the front of the line and inserted her after you´ve been waiting an hour? It would be a deft move, intended to disarm you, but it would still be

This had to be said! Recommended read.

A sample:

There is even a subtle insult to American students when we call the children of illegal immigrants “dreamers.” The children of Americans dream too, but they elicit no special legal or societal “compassion” to help them fulfill their dreams. In fact, illegal immigrant children go to the front because their parents did something wrong. That is the sum and substance of it. Your parents brought you here illegally, and we are going to reward you for it.

I have long had an issue with the idea of social justice which actually means special treatment for a favored group including those who acted illegally leading to injustice for those who have played by the rules. Justice for me but not for thee. It needs to stop.

Please let us drop this totally inappropriate word ´dreamers´ and call them what they are -illegal aliens.

If the lawmakers are so compassionate about those DREAMERS, let them ADOPT those kids and expose their real character. Bet most will decline. These low life wants the taxpayers to pay for the DREAMERs welfare.

I like to call it the Disneyland Rule.

I can remember going to Disneyland when, if a "patron" tried to cut in at the front of the line, they got expelled for the day.

If a person tried to sneak in without paying, they were photographed and told to never come back!

If it´s good enough for an amusement park, it´s good enough as an immigration policy.

How Obama is funding the anti-Trump resistance

Wall Street might be shocked to learn it is helping bankroll the anti-Trump “resistance” movement that’s aggressively fighting policies it favors — including corporate tax cuts and the repeal of Obama-era banking and health-care regulations. The Obama administration’s massive shakedown of Big Banks over the mortgage crisis included unprecedented back-door funding for dozens of Democratic activist groups who were not even victims of the crisis. At least three liberal nonprofit organizations the Justice Department approved to receive funds from multibillion-dollar mortgage settlements were instrumental in killing the ObamaCare repeal bill and are now lobbying against GOP tax reform, as well as efforts

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton slammed President Trump on Saturday, saying his presidency is worse than she expected it would be. Terrifying torrent of water in

A terrifying torrent of water swept through Puerto Rico after a dam failed at Lake Guajataca in the northwest region. Water was seen sweeping through the municipalities of Isabela and Quebradillas after the dam sustained structural damage from Hurricane Maria. Nearly 16 inches of rain fell in the area, significantly raising water levels on the 90-year-old dam. Earlier, Puerto Rican authorities had scrambled to evacuate as many as 70,000 people after the National Weather Service warned that failure of the dam was ´imminent´ and could lead to ´life-threatening´ flash flooding.

Around 70,000 people have been told to evacuate immediately as authorities warned of "extremely dangerous" flash flooding in areas near the 345-yard Guajataca Dam. Governor Ricardo Rosselló said the extent of the damage to the dam is not fully known and urged people living in the municipalities of Isabela and Quebradillas to flee. “Close to 70,000 is the estimate of people that could be affected in the case of a collapse,” he said. “We don’t know the details. It’s time to get people out.” At least 13 people were killed when Hurricane Maria barrelled through Puerto Rico – virtually flattening the entire island

Reuters reports: Time Inc said on Friday it was looking to sell several assets, including Time Inc UK, and warned it experienced more-than-anticipated softness in both print and advertising revenue during the current quarter. The publisher, which said in April that it would not sell itself, said assets identified for sale include Time Customer Service and a majority stake in the Essence magazine. The assets marked for divestitures represent about $488 million, or 17 percent of total revenue for the 12-months ended June 30, the company said.

Does John McCain have any shame at all? In his grandstanding declaration of opposition the Graham-Cassidy bill to scrap Obamacare, which must be passed by the end of the month, he´s sticking more than 100,000 low income taxpayers with huge fines associated with being unable to afford Obamacare´s larded up insurance policies. According to Americans for Tax Reform: If Sen. John McCain votes YES on Graham-Cassidy 153,700 Arizona households will no longer be stuck paying Obamacare’s individual mandate tax.

Michelle Goldberg reviewed Vanessa Grigoriadis’s new book, Blurred Lines, which examines the debate about consensual sex on college campuses. Goldberg offers a few pieces of praise, Vanity Fair writes, before giving a harsh critique of the book, even saying that “occasionally (Grigoriadis) makes baffling errors that threaten to undermine her entire book,” according to Vanity Fair. But Grigoriadis defended herself and her book on her Facebook page, saying that Goldberg performed “some of her own (incompetent) journalism here.”

His pre-dawn raid was meant to intimidate Manafort, not just to collect evidence. Robert Mueller’s sprawling special-counsel investigation is playing hardball. It was not enough to get a search warrant to ransack the Virginia home of Paul Manafort, even as the former Trump campaign chairman was cooperating with congressional investigators. Mueller’s bad-asses persuaded a judge to give them permission to pick the door lock. That way, they could break into the premises in the wee hours, while Manafort and his wife were in bed sleeping. They proceeded to secure the premises — of a man they are reportedly investigating for tax and financial crimes, not gang murders and Mafia hits — by drawing their guns on the stunned couple, apparently to check their pajamas for weapons. Mueller’s probe more resembles an empire, with 17 prosecutors retained on the public dime. So . . .
