Liberals sick of the alt-left
are taking ´the red pill´

Fox News Opinion, by Elizabeth Ames

Original Article

Posted By:dvc, 9/13/2017 11:02:10 AM

The mainstream media failed to see the rise of Donald Trump in 2016. Now it’s overlooking another grassroots movement that may soon be of equal significance— the growing number of liberals “taking the red pill.” People of all ages and ethnicities are posting YouTube videos describing “red pill moments”—personal awakenings that have caused them to reject leftist narratives imbibed since childhood from friends, teachers, and the news and entertainment media. You might say that those who take the red pill have been “triggered.” But instead of seeking out “safe spaces,” they’re doing the opposite, posting monologues throwing off the shackles

Comments:
Sounds like the Antifa and PC have pushed some people too far and they are snapping back. Let´s hope that the wheels are really coming off of their identity politics, "you´re a victim" hate train.
There is also some indication of people recognizing that traditional values are a route to success and sanity in life.

There comes a time in every era when the merely nuts can no longer stomach the actions of the truly insane and start seeing the validity of what their former opposition was saying. I´m glad to see some of the Left coming to their senses and throwing off the shackles of Marxist ´tolerance´.

Yes, I stumbled upon a few videos of people who say they´ve been ´red-pilled´. They are interesting to watch/listen to. I just hope it will be a permanent transformation.

I saw this last year campaigning for Trump. One quarter of our visitors were between 18 and 30. A large majority of those were Bernie voters disgusted with the DNC and Hillary! Our most popular bumper sticker was, "Feeling Berned? Vote Trump."

North Korea is seriously considering a plan to fire missiles at Guam, state media said Wednesday, hours after President Trump responded to reports of nuclear threats by saying the regime "will be met with fire, fury and frankly power, the likes of which the world has never seen before." A ballistic missile operation unit for the regime will review a plan to fire a mid-range ballistic missile at Guam, a U.S. island territory, on September 9, according to South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency. In a statement released by state-run media, the Korean People´s Army claimed it was looking into striking

PHOENIX — Migrants who are caught crossing the border illegally for the first time are now facing criminal charges in federal court in Arizona as the Trump administration steps up efforts to deter illegal immigration. First-time offenders until recently were deported instead of being criminally prosecuted. That changed as of June in the Tucson Sector, which includes most of Arizona's border with Mexico and which has already seen the prosecution of 565 first-time offenders, the agency said in a news release on Thursday.

A federal judge has temporarily blocked a voter-approved California law that would have forced gun owners to get rid of high-capacity ammunition magazines by this Saturday. U.S. District Judge Roger Benitez, who is based in San Diego, issued a preliminary injunction Thursday that found the law was likely unconstitutional because it prevented people from using firearms that employed “whatever common magazine size he or she judges best suits the situation.” The law would have barred people from possessing magazines containing more than 10 bullets. “The State of California’s desire to criminalize simple possession of a firearm magazine able to hold

The guerrilla art movement is usually associated with leftwing politics. Banksy targets capitalism, consumerism and inequality. Blek le Rat, the father of stencil graffiti, depicts oppression and resistance. Shepard Fairey gilded Barack Obama’s rise with the iconic “Hope” poster and now highlights the scapegoating of Muslims and the corporatisation of US politics. In the Trump era, the right, however, has its own guerrilla artist: Sabo, a former US marine who works from an apartment-cum-studio in Los Angeles beneath a sign that says “F**k Tibet”. Another says “F**k peace”. Under cover of darkness, he peppers public spaces

A suspect who tried to attack security forces on the Champs-Elysees shopping district in Paris Monday afternoon -- when he rammed his car into a police van -- had a rifle and explosives in his vehicle, French investigators said. The attacker died shortly after the incident, the French Interior Minister Gerard Collomb said. The attacker, a 31-year-old man, was badly burned after his car exploded when he deliberately crashed it into a police van. The police van caught fire, but it was quickly contained, officials said. The bomb squad was called to the scene. Authorities discovered a gas tank and

YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Calif. -There may be no more potent reminder of California´s humongous snowfall than the plows still clearing roads that snake across the state´s highest mountains as summer approaches. Crews have been digging, blowing and blasting for months — and the work is not finished, though an approaching heat wave could speed up the process. His pre-dawn raid was meant to intimidate Manafort, not just to collect evidence. Robert Mueller’s sprawling special-counsel investigation is playing hardball. It was not enough to get a search warrant to ransack the Virginia home of Paul Manafort, even as the former Trump campaign chairman was cooperating with congressional investigators. Mueller’s bad-asses persuaded a judge to give them permission to pick the door lock. That way, they could break into the premises in the wee hours, while Manafort and his wife were in bed sleeping. They proceeded to secure the premises — of a man they are reportedly investigating for tax and financial crimes, not gang murders and Mafia hits — by drawing their guns on the stunned couple, apparently to check their pajamas for weapons. Mueller’s probe more resembles an empire, with 17 prosecutors retained on the public dime. So . . .

There really ought to be a statute of limitations on how long John McCain can play the tortured war hero card. His war hero status was exhausted with me a decade ago over a single instance. Brad Smith, who as chairman of the Federal Election Commission and law professor dared to criticize the McCain-Feingold campaign finance law on constitutional grounds (later vindicated in several Supreme Court cases culminating in the glorious Citizens United decision), came before a Senate committee one day to testify about campaign finance laws.
