B-CR-TEO
Nikki Haley for the First Woman President
P. J. Media, by Roger L. Simon

Original Article

Posted By:JoniTx, 9/13/2017 3:42:36 AM

I know it ´s premature, since I predicted (and I stand by it) that Donald Trump would win reelection handily in 2020, but more and more I am convinced that Nikki Haley should be our first woman president. And this is not just a reaction to the recent publication of Hillary Clinton´s new book What Happened in which Mrs. Clinton apparently details precisely the opposite, blaming everyone and everything for her defeat from Bernie Sanders to the "late eclipses of the sun and moon," except for herself. I say "apparently" because I am less likely actually to read her book

See, that´s the problem. All that "identity" crap. I do not give a flip what the gender is of the candidate. I just want the best person for the job. Can we please just stop with this "First ´what ever´ for Prez? We´re not trying to make a Guinness World Record here. We´re trying to save a nation and a people.

I liked her really well before her capitulation on the flag situation. Lost a lot of respect for her after that. If the primaries were today (thankfully they are not) she would not be near the top of my list.
She does have beautiful hair, I´ll grant that.

She was born to parents who were Green Card holders at the time. Not full fledged US citizens. Unless the SCOTUS specifically rules that this is the same as a Natural Born Citizen, no go. Besides, Sarah is still the best choice. She should challenge RINO Murkowski and enter the Senate in ´18.

Can´t Roger that. Nikki can´t get my vote. She was the FIRST South Carolina Governor to trash the Confederate flag, and South Carolina was the first state to secede. Her sense of identity politics was a FIRST for a republican.
I don´t know what President Trump saw in her to offer her a job, but at least he sent her to a meaningless position that requires no management skills at a meaningless organization. I will never vote for her.

Question where is her husband?????

This won´t help her.....

More about the relationship

Haley is a married woman. She married to Michael Haley in 1996 after they met at Clemson University and they have two kids daughter Rena and son Nalin. However, in 2010, blogger and former Haley campaign advisor Will Folks released a statement to a local anti-Haley conservative group in which he alleged that he and Governor Haley had an affair. Moreover, Larry Marchant has also claimed that he had a one-night stand with Haley. Later, she denied it.

Is she perfect on all issues? No. No one is.
But she would be a heck of a lot better than any Democrat.
Let´s not overlook the good in searching for the perfect. We conservatives do that too often.
And - I like the way she speaks at the UN.

Must agree with many of the above posters...

1. She lost my support and respect when she appeased the SC Left over the Confederate flag.

2. She had no vision to see the dire necessity to join the Trump Train for America.

3. She is not a Natural Born citizen, where both parents are US citizens when child is born.

It´s no coincidence these three reasons are interconnected to the Founding Fathers´ wisdom of the NBC requirement for POTUS and VP. "It was for loyalty and fidelity" to USA. Had she studied SC and US history at her parents´ knees, to grow her love and understanding of the unique qualities of America, she never would have appeased the SC left, who also cared even less for SC´s rich history regarding states´ rights.

All I gotta say is this.

If ANY woman is elected president other than Hillary, it will take the wind right out of her sails. Do you think she would fight this hard to become the second woman President?

I just read she was planning on wearing white at her acceptance speech, in honor of the suffregettes. She was going to be the capstone on the Women´s Lib movement.

I really hopes she lives to see some other woman elected and the cherry on top would be to see it be a Republican woman.

I don´t think the writer is necessarily advocating an affirmative action campaign. But he recognizes that sooner or later we will have a woman president, and that in his view Haley would be a good one.

I like what I´ve seen of her for the most part. So she didn´t back Trump early on - so what? The relevant point to me is that Trump saw something worthwhile in her, and his judgement has proven out. IMO Haley has done a great job at the U.N.

I don´t know much about her governorship. What sort of judges did she nominate for state court positions? THAT would be the key indicator for me.

As far as the flag thing goes, I think it´s all overdone in some quarters. We forget that Haley didn´t act on her own or in a vacuum. She was reacting to and navigating through a unique political climate created by an unspeakably atrocious act which came from out of the blue.

I noticed that republicans are already on the path to mucking up the next elections before mucking up the last election is finished. It´s what republicans do best. We talk too much. We conjecture and debate too much. Too much of it results in timidity and the inability to succeed once we "win".

Just as they´ve informed us that negroes who are Republican aren´t really black. I think we should take the honest and investigative MSM at its word and accept the fact that this Haley person is a misogynistic racist, not a woman.

Need more evidence? The honest and investigative MSM also informed us that Trump hates women, so seriously, do you think he´d actually go and appoint one, to anything? Checkmate!

so, with some posters it´s okay that Palin was also rumored to have had an affair, and Trump had plenty of marital issues, but Haley has to be a saint? Pretty hypocritical. As for Palin, she has as much of a chance being president as Hillary does. Most of you believe that Trump will get another term, so it´s absurd to even talk about the next president. Even three years can be a lifetime.

Haley got the ball rolling on our national quest to tear down flags and monuments. It was OK when Confederate statues were coming down, but now they´re going for Jefferson and other Founders, Christopher Columbus, and who knows who´s next. I will, with clear conscience, vote third party if ever she runs for office.

I like Haley and think that she would make good president NOT because she is a woman, but because she is a manager having been a governor and is now performing brilliantly on the international stage. These are qualities that a man or woman should have to become president. I didn´t like the flag thing when she was governor, but I don´t like everything Trump is doing either.

Bringing us to the "misogynist" Trump. Trump knows talent and even though Haley dissed him seriously during the campaign she was one of his first hires. As another poster said kudos for both of their professionalism and love for country to put aside their differences and work together.

And I suspect Trump did not hire Haley because she was a woman. She was the best PERSON to do the job and the reason she should be considered seriously as a future president.

But, the Dems and MSM will never allow a minority Republican to be the first woman president. They will destroy Haley as they did with Judge Miguel Estrada who would have become the first Hispanic Supreme Court justice.

Being governor of ALL the people of 21st century South Carolina is a good deal more challenging than it was to be a Mighty Whitey confederate cheerleader back in the day when blacks were not even allowed to vote. Haley understood that times have changed, and that is to her credit.

Jones’ competitiveness is a remarkable development in a deep red state that reflects just how badly Moore has been hurt by a sex scandal. But the race is still fluid. With 87 percent of precincts reporting, Jones and Moore both had 49.2 percent, according to

On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” co-host Mika Brzezinski argued President Trump’s tweet about Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) constitutes sexual harassment and that people who work around the president and don’t try to get him to delete the tweet don’t care about the country or women. Brzezinski said, “I just want to say something, beyond the fact that it is reprehensible that the president of the United States would say something so derogatory and disgusting about a woman, we’re not surprised, Mr. President. You do it all the time. You treat women terribly, and you treat the women around

Franken announced last Thursday that he would be resigning “in the coming weeks” after eight different women accused him of groping or forcibly kissing them. “The timing of Franken’s resignation remains unclear, as is his motive in delaying it,” New York Magazine’s Ed Kilgore noted at the time. Franken has yet to offer any more specificity about when he’s going to follow through in resigning. Franken’s office did not return multiple requests for comment on the subject. Franken begrudgingly offered his resignation after 35 Democratic senators called on him to do so, three weeks after he was first accused

President Trump attacked Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) in a sexually suggestive tweet Tuesday morning that implied Gillibrand would do just about anything for money, prompting a swift and immediate backlash. “Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Charles E. Schumer and someone who would come to my office ´begging´ for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump,” the president wrote. “Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!”

Margaret Thatcher was born one. So were predecessor Prime Ministers Benjamin Disraeli and William E. Gladstone. Diana, the princess of Wales, too. Also William Pitt, who presided over the British victory in the French and Indian War and lent his name to Pittsburgh. And, according to some university authorities four decades ago, me as well. We were all born commoners. But — despite what newspapers, websites and television stations on both sides of the Atlantic have reported with wonder and wild-eyed delight — Meghan Markle, the actor who is to marry Prince Harry, is not a commoner. She’s an American, and

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) faced criticism for saying that President Donald Trump “slut-shamed” Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) with a non-sexual insult, Tuesday. After President Donald Trump made a post on Twitter claiming that Sen. Gillibrand “would do anything” for campaign contributions, Sen. Warren made her own post accusing Trump of “slut-shaming.” “Are you really trying to bully, intimidate and slut-shame @SenGillibrand?” asked Sen. Warren in her post. “Do you know who you’re picking a fight with? Good luck with that, @realDonaldTrump. Nevertheless, #shepersisted.” Are you really trying to bully, intimidate and slut-shame @SenGillibrand? Do you know who you´re picking a fight with? Good

Alabama is one of the most reliably Republican states in the country. The last time a Democrat was elected was in 1992, and no Democrat has won more than 40 percent of the vote in a Senate race there since 1996. The closest election in recent memory was in 2002, when Jeff Sessions won re-election by a razor-thin margin of 19 points. Sen. Richard Shelby has won his last three elections by 35 points, 30 points and 28 points, respectively. So it takes a special kind of stupid to pick a candidate who can lose to a Democrat in Alabama.

MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski is still fired up about President Trump’s tweet mocking Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and took her frustrations out on first lady Melania Trump and first daughter Ivanka Trump. “[Trump] should have apologized for being a sexist pig,” Brzezinski said. “And the women around him, his wife, who has a platform against cyber bullying, that’s a joke. That’s the saddest thing I’ve ever seen.” Brzezinski then shifted her attention to Ivanka Trump, “Who came to Washington… to develop a platform for women,” but has stood by her father. “Go home. The Alabama Supreme Court has reportedly stayed a lower court’s order to election officials that would have required the preservation of voting records in Tuesday’s Senate special election. A circuit judge on Monday ordered election officials to set voting machines to save all digital ballot images, which would preserve voting records in the event of a recount. Alabama´s AL.com said Tuesday morning that the state´s Supreme Court had blocked the order.

From America’s Catholic bishops to prominent Christian pastor Jim Wallis, congressional Republicans’ push for an overhaul of the tax code has been called nothing less than ungodly. The debate about tax rates and income numbers has taken on pointedly religious overtones, with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, citing Pope Francis and St. Augustine in attacking the bill and saying it would signify Armageddon. Mr. Wallis led a protest against the tax plan at the Hart Senate Office Building, reading Bible verses before he was escorted away by Capitol Police. The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops released a lengthy
