Republican Says He´ll Retire

Real Clear Politics, by James Arkin & Caitlin Huey-Burns

A second-term Republican congressman announced Monday he would not run for re-election next year, becoming the third targeted GOP member in the past week to retire as the party faces a potentially difficult fight to maintain its majority in 2018. The decision by Rep. Dave Trott of Michigan (pictured) followed retirement announcements last week by Reps. Charlie Dent of Pennsylvania and Dave Reichert of Washington, three members Democrats planned to try to unseat next year. Though all would have been difficult incumbents to defeat, the districts are likely to be much more competitive for Democrats as open races. Several nonpartisan handicappers

FTA: “Though all would have been difficult incumbents to defeat, the districts are likely to be much more competitive for Democrats as open races. …Republicans worry that struggling to accomplish their agenda on Capitol Hill and the tumult of President Trump’s first year leave them vulnerable in 2018.”

Well, well, well. The Deep State is busy planning the loss of the House by the Stupid Party Unipartitarians by making a few more safe seats move into the toss-up column. All very normal politics to ensure gridlock on the surface while the treachery continues behind locked doors. The script then provides the self-fulfilling prophecy excuse floated by the Stupid Party grandees for eons, “we’re struggling to accomplish of our agenda on Capitol Hill (please don’t mention that we have the majority – we are so ashamed of that terrible state of affairs), and besides, it’s all Trump’s fault for the tumult.”

My disgust and loathing for the traitorous Republican leadership is beyond anything I ever expected I could be capable of feeling. It stiffens my resolve to replace Quisling representatives with patriots willing to stand with President Trump and the people. The next big battle will be the 2018 mid-term primaries, and they will make 2010 and 2014 seem like cakewalks. This is the year we must field true patriots against all Deep State operatives. I pray local experienced business leaders follow Trump’s lead and campaign openly on the MAGA agenda. Our President is counting on us to send reinforcements to take The Hill and hold the high ground.

MAGA – Trump’s Deplorable Army can and will win.

Congressman Dent in PA knew he was going to lose in the primary. The people in PA will put a real conservative in the House to take his place. Drain the swamp.

5 Problems With The NFL’s
National Anthem Protest
The Federalist, by Mollie Hemingway    Original Article

At a Friday rally in Alabama, President Donald Trump criticized football players who protest during the national anthem: Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a b-tch off the field right now. Out. He’s fired. He’s fired!’ (Snip)Here are five reasons the NFL anthem protests are not going as well as the media would like to think. 1. Vague And Unclear Protest Goals One of the keys to a good protest is to have a clear goal. If the discussions on Sunday were any indication, nobody is entirely clear

A fast-moving column of Union troops marched along a narrow stretch of beach in coastal South Carolina in the twilight of July 18, 1863. Mass fan walkouts at stadiums will prove more effective than boycotting NFL advertisers. Organize mass exits and I guarantee you’ll beat the flag flouters at their own mass-media game. This is not to say you shouldn’t continue to throw your slippers at the TV set and curse a blue streak when major league players thumb their noses at Old Glory. I do. I’m just saying we can also do something really useful. When you walk out after standing for “Oh say can you see … ,” the TV cameras will show you saying, louder and better, the opposite of what the flag back-handers are

A strange quiet has settled in at the White House. President Trump greeted Robert Mueller’s appointment as special counsel in charge of the Russia investigation with a steady stream of diatribes, including some 40 bilious tweets. He challenged Mueller’s impartiality and called the investigation a “witch hunt.” But for nearly two months, Trump has restrained himself on the subject. AUSTIN, Texas — Sen. Ted Cruz on Sunday said he doesn’t support the latest Obamacare repeal plan, dealing a fresh blow to Republicans’ last-ditch effort to kill Barack Obama’s signature health care law. After seven years of promises to repeal Obamacare, Republicans have six days to pass legislation with a party-line vote. But with Cruz’s opposition, at least five Republicans in the 52-member caucus have signaled that they either won’t vote for or are leaning against supporting the Graham-Cassidy bill. The legislation, authored by Republican Sens. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, would block-grant federal health

CARSON, Calif. — It’s time for NFL owners to go beyond issuing statements and to make a statement: bring back quarterback Colin Kaepernick. On Sunday, from an undisclosed location, Kaepernick retweeted on his Twitter account several images of NFL players wearing T-shirts that read #IMWITHKAP. NFL owners need to show they are as well. They finally can dispel theories that Kaepernick has been blackballed for refusing to stand for the national anthem last season, or, fearing a blacklash from fans, that they simply lack the courage to give him another chance.
