Exclusive: Security at the State Department´s Benghazi compound was so dire that another contractor was brought in to clean up the mess just two weeks before the 2012 terror attack – and was later pressured to keep quiet by a government bureaucrat under then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, according to two men from the American security company. Brad Owens and Jerry Torres, of Torres Advanced Enterprise Solutions, say they faced pressure to stay silent and get on the same page with the State Department with regard to the security lapses that led to the deaths of four Americans. That Ms. Visintainer at the State Dept. continued to insist that our embassy guards not be armed, AFTER the Benghazi attack, tells us just how misguided and incompetent the employees at the Department of State have become.

The difference, at this point, that it makes is this:"Both the function and the honor of Sec.State of the USA must not be whored out to enrich the person holding that office contrary to the interests of the people of the USA and in particular must not be sold to the explicit adversaries of said citizens in a fashion which which might accrue to the benefit of the adversaries of said citizens and to the personal profit of said office holder.

It appears Mr. Owens is gunning for Ms. Visintainer. Get ´em. I´d say rip her heart out but it´s obvious she doesn´t have one.
In other news, there is brave and then there is foolhardiness. Foolhardiness in this case would have resulted in the loss of employment of maybe thousands of men who were protecting our embassies and preventing other Benghazi-like situations from happening. The org rots from the head down and it had obviously reached Ms. Visintainer´s level. Waiter send another bottle of Thunderbird´s best to the table with the two ... I believe, women, in pantsuits.

There exists a VERY strong "Etiquette" which prevents each new administration from prosecuting the previous one. Breaking with this rule would invite continuous prosecution
of each party upon the former.

Suks that the Marxist Dems are the 99% beneficiaries of this comity.

Perhaps The Donald may be the iconoclast who
breaks this unspoken rule.

They´ve lost 18 of the 20 contracts they bid on. Seems to me that they would have been better off telling this story up front. They could have at least claimed whistleblower status then.

Seoul, South Korea - President Trump’s re-designation of North Korea as a state sponsor of terrorism may have dashed cautious hopes in the region that talks and diplomacy would replace escalating tensions and bellicose threats, analysts said on Tuesday. Despite a two-month hiatus in North Korea’s weapons tests, Mr. Trump has held to his policy of “maximum pressure,” restoring North Korea on Monday to Washington’s list of terrorism-sponsoring states, along with Iran, Sudan and Syria. The move will be followed by “the highest level of sanctions,” he warned. Analysts said they doubted that new sanctions would make any real

Russian President Vladimir Putin said he’ll hold phone talks with U.S. counterpart Donald Trump on Tuesday as the Kremlin mounts a diplomatic push to resolve the war in Syria following a surprise visit by Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad. Putin has taken a dominant role in efforts to end the conflict after a two-year Russian military campaign helped Assad to fight off opponents, including some backed by the U.S. With Islamic State nearly defeated in Syria, the Kremlin is moving on to bring together regional and global powers to revive long-stalled efforts to reach a settlement expected to cement the Syrian president in power.

A federal judge on Monday permanently blocked President Trump’s executive order to cut funding from so called “sanctuary cities.” Trump’s order would have removed some federal funds from cities that limit their cooperation with U.S. immigration authorities. U.S. District Court Judge William Orrick rejected the Trump administration’s argument that the measure only applies to a relatively small pool of money. Orrick also said that Trump cannot set fresh conditions on spending that Congress has previously approved. Monday’s ruling came in lawsuits brought by two California counties, Santa Clara and San Francisco.
