Hillary Clinton said Tuesday that she would have been called a "genius" and her campaign "perfect" if she had won the 2016 presidential election. In an interview with WNYC, the former secretary of State reflected on being the first female presidential nominee of a major political party. She said that because of the hurdles women face, she would have been hailed as brilliant if she won. "I thought it was pretty revolutionary that I was the first woman to have a realistic chance of becoming president,” Clinton said. “So I don’t know how any woman who is not familiar to
Att Hillary...I don´t think I have to remind you that the only reason Obama made you Secretary of State was to to keep you as far away from him as possible. He could not stand to be around you. Remember all those trips to nowhere after the 2008 election?
Trump can not stand to be around you.You are a NASTY WOMAN...Genius
This woman is a complete idiot. She was supposed to have a walk to becoming president, how does that equate to being a genius if she won? Also, if she is such a genius, how come she didn´t win even with the cheating in the primaries and undoubtedly in the general election. Sounds like just the opposite of genius to me.
C´mon, Chelsea, it´s way past time to do an intervention and get your mother some serious professional help. We all know that Bill won´t do it - he´s probably enjoying the hell out of her public implosion and it keeps her out of the house.
Like did you guys know that IF I had been born wealthy, I would have started a restaurant called "In The Dessert"- Get it? hahaha! If I had owned the Santa Fe Rail road, I would have built ´live-on" trains. that´s right. Like motor homes but on rails! And they would have been moved all over the country about every four months! They would have had all sorts of lovely things like restaurants, play grounds, movie theaters and even libraries and schools. Summer they go north and winter they go south! Yeah. see what everyone missed because I was not allowed my own personal little "IF" fantasy!
And if Hillary had been Donald Trump, she would have won the 2016 election for President! Awesome!~ See how that fantasy crap works?
A candidate who gave canned speeches once a month, held town halls with pre-presented questions, skipped visiting states that she "had in the bag", collapsed in public and had to be tossed into the Scooby van like a sack of potatoes, canceled a fireworks display days before the election is not a genius, even if she had won. We would still be digging up the fraudulent votes.
Got the book. It´s full of things she WOULD have done if the dumb voters had just voted for her. She leads the reader with lists things done to her campaign that she can´t believe actually worked. Almost purple prose.
Poor Hillary. Trump received almost continual attacks from the media, dems, and some Republicans and he STILL won. Comey actually had the nerve to investigate Hillary´s criminal dealings but gave her a pass and she whines about it. You could have been serving out the election, deservedly, in a jail cell dear. You got off lightly.
She´s such a genius that she spent the whole campaign pandering to minorities, while hanging out with hollywood stars, fashion designers, and wall street financiers. All the while badmouthing ordinary, working Americans.
She reminds me of a winner in the Special Olympics, who, Bless Their Hearts, believe that they really accomplished something. All liberals seem that way to me. Something´s missing. They think it´s moral to murder babies. They think overrunning the country with foreign criminals is being compassionate. They believe the end justifies the means... no matter what evil has to be done on that Road of Good Intentions.
Many of the country’s top media outfits blamed the Democratic Party for allowing the government to shutdown instead of bridging a budget impasse with Republicans in the Senate. “U.S. Shutdown Starts as Senate Democrats Block GOP Funding Plan” a Bloomberg headline blared early Saturday morning, referring to the Senate’s inability to agree on a variety of budgetary issues. The New York Times and AP chimed in with similar headlines. Republican and Democratic leaders have not stopped talking through their differences. Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney, for instance, said late Friday night that the conflict has a “really
As previously reported, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders released a blistering statement late Friday night on the Senate Democrats blocking funding the federal government in favor of amnesty for illegal alien DACA recipients. The Trump administration is putting America first and the Senate Democrats dug in their heels Friday night, shutting down the government in favor of illegal aliens. The House budget resolution failed a cloture vote in the Senate on a largely party line vote, 50 to 49. (Photo) The Schumer Shutdown went in to effect shortly after midnight Saturday. Deep State stalwart James Clapper provably lied to Congress on a matter of substantive importance, yet he was never charged with perjury. In less than two months, the statute of limitations will excuse him from any criminal liability if he is not charged with lying to Congress. Citng an unnamed source, Variety magazine is claiming “exclusive” news that President Donald Trump will break the tradition of presidents giving pre-game Super Bowl interviews on the game-broadcasting networks. The “person familiar” with the news told Variety, exclusively, that Trump declined NBC’s request for an interview, even though he gave a pre-game interview last year: “The White House has at present, according to a person familiar with the matter, indicated to NBC News that President Donald Trump will not take part in a recent Super Bowl ritual: a pre-game interview between the commander-in-chief and the news unit of the network
President Donald Trump spoke live via satellite at the March for Life in Washington, DC, on Friday, thanking pro-life activists for marching against abortion.“The March for Life is a movement born out of love,” Trump said. “You love your families, you love your neighbors, you love our nation, and you love every child, born and unborn, because you believe that every life is sacred, that every child is a precious gift from God. We know that life is the greatest miracle of all.”The president spoke from the Rose Garden surrounded by pro-life activists and even a few parents holding their
Five Democratic senators from states won by President Trump in the 2016 presidential election introduced legislation Friday to withhold pay from members of Congress in the event of a government shutdown. Sens. Heidi Heitkamp (N.D.), Claire McCaskill (Mo.), Jon Tester (Mont.), Debbie Stabenow (Mich.) and Joe Manchin (W.Va.), all of whom are up for reelection this year, announced the bill Friday, hours ahead of a government funding deadline. “If members of Congress can’t fulfill their basic duty to keep the government open and provide the essential services Americans depend on, then they don’t deserve their paychecks,” Heitkamp said in a
Acting ICE Director Tom Homan hit back Thursday at California´s Democratic senators, who criticized his agency over reports of planned immigration sweeps in the sanctuary state. Local law enforcement officials have reportedly stated they will not assist ICE in raids aimed at apprehending 1,500 illegal immigrants in northern California. California Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Kamala Harris wrote a letter to the agency, asking for a briefing on the raids. They argued the action would be "an abhorrent abuse of power" and a diversion of resources to "score political points" and "punish" the state for its policies toward illegal immigrants. Homan
President Trump argued Friday that a partial shutdown of the federal government is on the horizon because Senate Democrats refuse to support a continuing resolution, and said voters should send more Republicans to Congress in November as a result. "Government Funding Bill past last night in the House of Representatives. Now Democrats are needed if it is to pass in the Senate - but they want illegal immigration and weak borders. Shutdown coming? We need more Republican victories in 2018!" Trump tweeted Friday morning. (Tweet) The House passed a spending bill late Thursday that would keep the government open through Feb.
The Democrats’ 2018 chances will be damaged by the government shutdown if voters blame the Democrats’ pro-amnesty agenda, a Washington Post report admitted Thursday evening. The good news for President Donald Trump and the bad news for amnesty-advocates was buried in the last paragraph of the article, which is based on a poll conducted for Minority Leader Sen. Chuck Schumer: If Democrats can make this looming shutdown about Trump and his ability to govern, they will be in a strong position to win the fight nationally and help the “Big Five [Democratic Senators]” hold their own. If Republicans can make
The acting director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), former congressman Mick Mulvaney, has submitted a budget request that may be a first in the history of government. The CFPB is an independent agency that recieves its funding from the Federal Reserve. The director must submit a budget request to the Fed every quarter. The most recent budget request came from former director Richard Cordray, an Obama appointee. Cordray asked the Fed for $217 million. But Mulvaney shocked official Washington by making a budget request for zero dollars. That´s $0.00 in taxpayer funds.
As President Trump racks up undeniable wins related to jobs (unemployment is falling, including historic lows among blacks and Hispanics), economics (Trump’s tax bill resulting in over a hundred companies giving large cash bonuses to their employees and Apple repatriating some $250 billion back to the U.S.), and foreign policy (ISIS being systematically eradicated from Syria and Iraq, North Korea and South Korea announcing they will attend the upcoming Olympics under one flag), there are those in the media and elsewhere who are reluctant to give him credit. On the contrary, not only do they downplay these achievements, they insist
If a picture paints a thousand words, then the White House’s choice of image for its homepage—featuring President and Mrs. Trump in the Vatican Sistine Chapel—tells an entire story of the President’s commitment to religious liberty. The photograph, taken during the first couple’s visit to the Vatican last May, bears the caption: “No American Should Have to Choose Between Faith and the Law.” The backdrop for the image is Michelangelo’s massive fresco painting of the Last Judgment. On Tuesday, President Trump declared January 16, 2018, as “Religious Freedom Day,” while specifically referencing notable examples of violations of this fundamental freedom even
A review of a classified document outlining what is described as extensive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuse was made available to all House members Thursday and the revelations could lead to the removal of senior officials in the FBI and Department of Justice, several sources with knowledge of the document stated. These sources say the report is “explosive,” stating they would not be surprised if it leads to the end of Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel investigation into President Trump and his associates. The House Intelligence Committee passed the motion along party lines Thursday to make the classified report alleging extensive
The White House says it will not negotiate with the Democrats on immigration until the end of the federal government shutdown. White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders says in a statement that, “We will not negotiate the status of unlawful immigrants while Democrats hold our lawful citizens hostage over their reckless demands.” She adds, “When Democrats start paying our armed forces and first responders we will reopen negotiations on immigration reform.” The government shut down at midnight after Congress failed to pass a spending deal. Sanders says, “Senate Democrats own the Schumer Shutdown,” adding,
After leaving office, President Ronald Reagan created the Ronald Reagan Freedom Award to recognize individuals who have fought to spread liberty worldwide. Nancy Reagan continued the tradition after her husband’s death, and in 2008 she bestowed the honor on human rights icon Natan Sharansky, who credited Reagan’s strong defense of freedom for his own survival in Soviet gulags. Reagan recognized that as leader of the free world, his words carried enormous weight, and he used it to inspire the unprecedented spread of democracy around the world. President Donald Trump does not seem to understand that his rhetoric and actions reverberate in
Obama’s current office, which is run by former de facto President Valerie Jarrett, is just a mile or so from the White House. It is at that location one sees a daily procession of donors, political operatives, party affiliates (BOTH Democrat and Republican) media friends (of which there are many) and more shadowy figures representing a myriad of foreign interests. And each day this office and its two primary inhabitants – Obama and Jarrett, are asked the same question: WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT TRUMP? Obama being Obama, with his solar-system-sized ego intact, has been promising to do
The House Intel panel’s passage of New York Republican Rep. Peter King’s motion to release the FISA abuse memo to fellow House members has rocked Washington, D.C. (Photo) Lawmakers from Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) to Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) have called for the classified memo’s immediate release. According to Fox News contributor Sara Carter, the contents of the memo are so “explosive,” that it could end special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe once and for all.Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino warned the release of the FISA report will destroy the image of his former boss Barack Obama.“Take it to
California lawmakers are targeting the expected windfall companies in the state would see under the federal tax overhaul with a bill that would require businesses to turn over half to the state. A proposed Assembly Constitutional Amendment by Assemblymen Kevin McCarty, D -Sacramento and Phil Ting, D-San Francisco, would create a tax surcharge on California companies making more than $1 million so that half of their federal tax cut would instead go to programs that benefit low-income and middle class families.
Former FBI director James B. Comey is joining the faculty of his alma mater, the College of William & Mary, and plans to teach a course on ethical leadership at the school’s Washington center starting in the fall. Comey, whom President Trump fired last year, will have a nontenured position as an executive professor in education, the school announced Friday. His course will be offered through the W&M Washington Center to students of the public college based in Williamsburg, Va. Comey will teach the course in fall 2018, spring 2019 and summer 2019 with executive assistant professor Drew Stelljes.
During his town hall tour across Canada, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has given explicit notice to pro-life Canadians that their beliefs on abortion make them second-class citizens. (Snip) According to the article, Trudeau warned that "an organization that has the explicit purpose of restricting women´s rights by removing rights to abortion, the right for women to control their own bodies, is not in line with where we are as a government and quite frankly where we are as a society." According to Trudeau, his tongue-lashing of pro-life groups was prompted by responses to a change to who can receive grants as
Far from content living his golden years on the $400,000 speech and lecture circuit of other former presidents, President Obama has been busy with clawing back for his old power. He´s actually covertly plotting to oust his democratically elected successor, President Trump, vowing to his associates to "rip him a new one," in the 2018 midterm elections. Seems he´s not all that interested in watching his youngest daughter grow up. That´s the word from DCWhispers, which reports that Obama´s Kalorama mansion, in the heart of the capital´s most tony district, is the center of significant comings and goings among the Obamatons,
Sara Carter reports on a classified document that was released to all members of the House today. The document seems to be a compilation of information, prepared by House intelligence committee staff, relating to the anti-Trump dossier, the FBI, the warrant to conduct surveillance on members of the Trump campaign, and the use of that warrant. Carter calls the document a bombshell. Her sources say its revelations might lead to the removal of senior officials in the FBI and Department of Justice, and perhaps even the criminal prosecution of some. They also say, less plausibly, that the revelations could lead to
For the second time in less than a year, New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson was arrested in Florida, and this time, cops say, he threatened to sexually assault the arresting officer´s wife. Anderson, 24, who was arrested at around 2:15am for going 105 miles-per-hour in a 45 zone, was placed in the back of the police vehicle and ´stated that when he got out he was going to find (the officer´s) wife, f--k her and n-t in her eye,´ according to the the police report with the Broward County Sheriff´s Office. According to the Daily News, the police
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said Friday that Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) has become "sort of the Steve King of the Senate," a reference to one of the House´s most ardent immigration hardliners. In an interview with MSNBC, Graham, who has advocated for legislative protections for young, undocumented immigrants, rejected the notion of ending family-based immigration in exchange for enshrining the protections of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program into law. A proposal by Cotton and Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.) seeks to end so-called chain migration, which allows U.S. citizens and permanent residents to sponsor family members abroad to
