Nearly a year after she lost the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton is promoting a book about how her defeat is everyone else´s fault. So much, so familiar. What´s striking is that even though she has barely begun her book tour, Clinton has already given the game away, reverting to her self-pitying idea that half her countrymen are "irredeemable" and "deplorable." Remember that riff she got into at a 2016 private fundraiser? No? Well here it is, to freshen your recollection. You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump´s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables.
FTA "whiter-than-white, uber-privileged politician who rode into public life on her husband´s coattails. As soon as she hopped off (at the beginning of the homestretch) and attempted to win the race on her own merits, she fell on her face.Remind us, who are we supposed to think is deplorable?" Exactly!
A nasty, mean, foul mouthed, boring as hell white feminist built like the Pillsbury dough boy, who hates the Secret Service and the military, is worth multi millions without having invented, created or done anything original! She´s a twice failed Presidential candidate yet the msm and leftist feminists still adore her? This is so out of wack it is beyond my understanding. Hillary go back to the woods and look for truffles for Bill.
For almost 30 years this woman has been on the national stage. Since then she has left a trail of deceit, thievery, incompetence, ineptitude, callousness and negligence. Whitewater; cattle futures; the Rose law firm; missing FBI files; firing the White House travel office staff while ruining the innocent director´s reputation, finances, and future; giving Russia 20% ownership of U.S. uranium, giving the Chinese unbridled access to the White House in return for favors and cash; selling the Saudis jet fighters that had previously been denied them for national security reasons and then pocketing cash via her foundation from the Saudis for a quarter of a million dollars for a 20 minute speech given to them by her husband; lying about being under gunfire in Kosovo; lying about Benghazi and then, oops!...needing to postpone hearings for several months because she fell down and went boom and then basically waved away her complicity in four deaths by saying that so much time had passed that it didn´t matter anymore; treating subordinates and the military with disdain; seizing, fainting and intoxication in public, etc. What kind of lunatic does she have to be to look at all of that and say, "Well, as if any of THAT had anything to do with why I lost."?
Tip O´Neill put this matter most clearly in his political autobiography, "Man of the House", when speaking to his political sponsor, Joe Kennedy, about the electoral prospects for Kennedy´s son, Jack. I´m paraphrasing from deep memory but his words conveyed the following: Jack needs to loosen up and not be so smart about everything. The most important quality for a politician trying to win an election is that, as the campaign goes on, the voters sense that the candidate truly loves them. Hillary produced just the opposite. As the campaign unfolded, we became more certain that she truly despises, demeans, or dismisses the American voter. BTW, "Man of the House" remains one of the most astute autobiographies I have ever read. My favorite anecdote retold in that book also involves the redoubtable Joe Kennedy. As Tip tells it, Joe was so nervous on Election Day in 1960 that he was calling Tip every 15 minutes to vent on one worry or another. At some point during the afternoon, Joe´s focus shifted to Jack´s prospects in Illinois, a state where the polls called it a dead heat. Exasperated by Joe´s endless worrying, Tip finally suggested that he call Mayor Daley himself for an update. The Mayor was very reassuring but Joe was not to be easily placated: "You sound confident, Mister Mayor, but how much is Jack going to win by?" "How much do you want to win by, Mister Kennedy?" Those were the good old days.
The problem with Hillary Clinton´s ´deplorable´ book is she didn´t write it and she probably didn´t read it. How many more excuses will she give for it´s failure in sales and ash trays will get thrown at the walls in her temper tantrum. The old bag lady is losing it and I want to thank the makers of Grey Goose vodka for helping save us from this truly deplorable person.
Just because it worked for Obama (the racial divide), didnt make it a winner for Hillary. She only is good at getting people to give her money and hob knobbing with the rich. Influence of the powerful.(The Democrat Way)
After 8 years of Obama, and the way he mishandled so many issues, from Ferguson, Trayvon Martin, ISIS, Syria, Iran, to mention a few, she had little to build on. But, instead, she added her own many issues to the pile.
Looking back, if she had won, we would be more doomed as a country than even we feared.
Hillary has been a vile criminal, entitled, condescending dirty player her entire life. When is she going to pay? When will she be held responsible for Benghazi? When will the Clinton Foundation be thoroughly audited and when will the stolen millions be returned? When will her house and Chelsea´s luxury home be confiscated? Our government owes us an explanation why this witch is still walking around in the daylight. As long as she is free out laws mean nothing.
Being a true lawyer, it always somebody else thats to blame. Next she will blame the pixels on HD TV made her look to pale to be president. Remember how black and white TV destroyed Richard Nixon in 1960.
The list of lives destroyed bt the Clintons in their quest for power and money is huge. And they´ve done lasting damage to the US by putting US policies up for sale - to benefit themselves while he rats and the rinos looked the other way. It took an outsider to put an end to this.
Wonder how many friends Hillary has now that she has no more power to sell?
While reading this article, a thought went my mind. And that is if Hillary stills attempt to be in the news about something one or another, her antics just might make even more voters to leave the dim party and start voting for conservatives. Just a thought.

One can only hope that The Ugly Twins Hillary! and Nancy Pelosi stay around for the foreseeable future, as the more they open their traps the more the American public sees how they genuinely hate Americans outside the elites. They are truly the gift that keeps on giving in that sense.
What I´d love is a report from these book signings confirming that Hillary! has a truly offensive body odor. Then again, she might be spraying herself down with Febreze....
Oh, I don´t know, #26. I just checked Amazon and the split between 5 star and 1 star is nearly 50/50. I think they deleted the one I saw this morning that began with, "This is the worst toilet paper I´ve ever bought..." Hilarious! Who knows, it may still be there.
Parlor game: Invite a few people over. Let each person read aloud from What Happened, in HRC´s screech, of course. Try to get through 5 paragraphs. I got this idea from S. E. Cupp on TV tonight taking turns reading with her colleagues.
Figure out a way to take a shot every time you get all the way through a paragraph without barfing. The sober guy loses the match.
President Donald Trump strongly backed Republican Roy Moore to win the U.S. Senate seat in Alabama vacated earlier this year by Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Tonight in a special election, Moore lost that race to Doug Jones, who is the first Democrat to be elected to the Senate since 1992. Trump issued a congratulatory response to Jones´ victory on Twitter late Tuesday night. Donald J. Trump ? @realDonaldTrump Congratulations to Doug Jones on a hard fought victory. The write-in votes played a very big factor, but a win is a win. The people of Alabama are great, and the Republicans will have another shot at
I might as well get into the “hot take” game. Democrats and their media echo chamber will openly celebrate Doug Jones’s narrow win in Alabama, but inside I’ll bet they are actually disappointed. There is little chance they can hold this seat in 2020 (unless Republicans nominate Roy Moore again). Meanwhile, Jones deprives them of their favorite talking point that Republicans are all drooling knuckle-dragging morons. Worse, it means Al Franken will likely have to go through with his resignation after all. I’d bet money that a polygraph examination would reveal that Franken was secretly hoping for a Moore victory.
Democratic representative Bobby Rush is being sued for $1 million after failing to make payments on a loan he received for a church he founded in his home district in Illinois. A wellness center linked to the church has also collected more than $2.6 million in taxpayer-funded government grants in 2017 and more than $17 million in grants since 2008, according to records. Rush founded the Beloved Community Christian Church, a nondenominational Christian church, in Chicago in 2002 with the intent of helping disadvantaged people in his community. "I founded a church in Englewood, one of Chicago´s poorest and most
That was some resignation, the Al Franken speech at the Senate the other day. As he spoke, all we heard was “I didn’t do nothin’ — and, besides, you can’t prove it!” Some of the accusers, he asserted, were outright liars. As for the others — in so many words, it came down to: “Well, they say I grabbed them by the tush and squeezed as tightly as their available epidermis and subcutaneous adipose tissue allowed, or stuck my probing tongue into their mouths and swirled it around inside, saliva and all, like finishing off the last drippings of a
About 10 years ago, at the after-party for a wine auction in New Orleans, a woman in her 20s walked up to Mario Batali to introduce herself. As a chef, she was excited to meet one of the most revered figures in the restaurant industry. When they started talking, she recalls, she realized that he’d been drinking and he became what she characterized as “creepy” — “just giving me this provocative, icky feeling.” Minutes into their conversation, she recalls, he told her, “Come work for me, I’ll pay you double what you’re making.” Moments later, someone bumped her glass, spilling wine
Have you noticed that if you fail to do, think, and vote exactly the way that the liberals and their Fredocon minions demand, you’re a racist, sexist, homophobic, child molesting, greedy, NRA terrorist determined to murder kids? Yeah, you probably have. And you’ve probably also realized that if you do everything that the liberals and their Never Trump minions demand, you’re still a racist, sexist, homophobic, child molesting, greedy, NRA terrorist determined to murder kids. When you understand that, you’re on your way to being conservative woke. And when you’re conservative woke, you’re ready to deploy the most powerful non-bullet
ABOARD A MILITARY AIRCRAFT — With the State Department in upheaval, and the president focused on "America First" domestic concerns, what diplomacy and foreign policy the White House is successfully exercising have fallen more and more to one man, retired Marine Gen. James Mattis. During a just concluded tour of Pakistan, Egypt, Kuwait, and Jordan, the Defense secretary sounded much more like the country´s chief diplomat than its top soldier. When talking to reporters during his trip, he stressed that U.S. foreign policy is not "myopically military only." He repeatedly used phrases like "rebuilding trust," "de-escalating tensions," "continued dialogue," "objectives of reconciliation,"
If Alabama voters choose Republican Roy Moore for the U.S. Senate in Tuesday’s special election, it won’t be the first time in the modern era that voters have sent to Congress a man dogged by a teen sex scandal. Massachusetts voters stood by Democratic Rep. Gerry Studds even after he was censured by the House in 1983 for his sexual relationship at age 36 with a 17-year-old male congressional page, as well as making sexual advances toward two other teenage pages. Far from dooming the Democratic Party, the episode barely registered at the ballot box. Democrats kept their House majority and gained
The sexual harassment hysteria that shifted with such convenient alacrity from the entertainment industry and the news media to Capitol Hill has nothing to do with protecting women, “rape culture,” or radical feminism. It isn’t even about destroying President Trump, though his downfall is ever a consummation devoutly to be wished by the left. #MeToo, in its partisan permutation, is instead a movement cynically co-opted by Democrats desperately seeking an issue — any issue — that will save them from disaster in next year’s midterms. Its only goal is to save “the party of Jefferson and Jackson” from annihilation in
If someone had asked me back in the day, if, in 2017, we’d be having a discussion about whether a fundamentalist baker should be forced by the law to create a wedding cake for a gay couple, I’d have been gobsmacked, as the Brits say. Smacked in the gob because only a decade ago such a question would have seemed so remotely hypothetical as to be absurd. And yet, here we are. A Christian baker has taken a stand on the grounds of religious conscience and artistic freedom not to provide a cake specifically designed for a legal, constitutional same-sex
If Tuesday’s oral argument is any indication, the year-long anticipation for the Masterpiece Cakeshop Supreme Court showdown will result in a narrow opinion that provides little clarity in the continuing conflict between culture and religious liberty. By now the basics are well-known: When a homosexual couple asked Jack Phillips, the owner of the Colorado-based Masterpiece Cakeshop, to design a wedding cake for them, Phillips informed the pair that he could not, in conscience, create a cake to celebrate a same-sex marriage. The men filed a complaint with the Colorado Civil Rights Division, claiming Masterpiece Cakeshop “discriminated against them in a place
Al Franken’s resignation speech on Thursday seemed less heartfelt than grudging. He cast it not as an act of atonement — he continues to deny the charges largely and acknowledged through his stifled rage that his previous quasi-apologies had hastened his demise — but a reluctant act of gallantry. He was submitting docilely to the “broader conversation” on sexual harassment, he said, while signaling that his replacement, to whom he referred as “her,” would be a female pol embodying that conversation. The speech followed the usual pattern of lying pols: I didn’t do it, I’m only quitting because I am a
DEVELOPING…Democrat Doug Jones has defeated Roy Moore in Alabama’s Senate election, according to a projection from the Fox News Decision Desk.ORIGINAL STORY…The hard-fought Alabama Senate race between Republican Roy Moore and Democrat Doug Jones remains too close to call, though a Fox News voter analysis shows the Democratic nominee enjoying a lead over his GOP rival. Jones’ competitiveness is a remarkable development in a deep red state that reflects just how badly Moore has been hurt by a sex scandal. But the race is still fluid. With 87 percent of precincts reporting, Jones and Moore both had 49.2 percent, according to
On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” co-host Mika Brzezinski argued President Trump’s tweet about Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) constitutes sexual harassment and that people who work around the president and don’t try to get him to delete the tweet don’t care about the country or women. Brzezinski said, “I just want to say something, beyond the fact that it is reprehensible that the president of the United States would say something so derogatory and disgusting about a woman, we’re not surprised, Mr. President. You do it all the time. You treat women terribly, and you treat the women around
On Tuesday, Democrat Doug Jones pulled off a stunning victory over Republican Roy Moore in Alabama. The race went down to the wire, but the Democrat prevailed. Here are five things to know about why Jones won, why Moore lost, and what it means for the future of the U.S. Senate and both parties. 1. Character matters. According to NBC News exit polls, 49 percent of Alabama voters thought the sexual assault accusations against Roy Moore were "definitely" or "probably" true. Republicans and Democrats split on partisan lines — a whopping 82 percent of Republicans said the allegations were "probably" or "definitely" false,
Franken announced last Thursday that he would be resigning “in the coming weeks” after eight different women accused him of groping or forcibly kissing them. “The timing of Franken’s resignation remains unclear, as is his motive in delaying it,” New York Magazine’s Ed Kilgore noted at the time. Franken has yet to offer any more specificity about when he’s going to follow through in resigning. Franken’s office did not return multiple requests for comment on the subject. Franken begrudgingly offered his resignation after 35 Democratic senators called on him to do so, three weeks after he was first accused
The family of the alleged ISIS-inspired Port Authority bomber said they were “heartbroken” by the attack on Monday and blasted law enforcement agencies for what they claimed were heavy-handed tactics by investigators. “We are heartbroken by the violence that was targeted at our city today and by the allegations being made against a member of our family,” said the statement read by Albert Fox Cahn, the Legal Director for the NY Chapter Council for Islamic Relations. “But we’re also outraged by the behavior of the law enforcement officials who held children as small as 4 years old out in the
President Trump attacked Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) in a sexually suggestive tweet Tuesday morning that implied Gillibrand would do just about anything for money, prompting a swift and immediate backlash. “Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Charles E. Schumer and someone who would come to my office ´begging´ for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump,” the president wrote. “Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!”
On Monday, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour President Donald Trump should resign over the sexual misconduct allegations against him. Gillibrand said, “President Trump should resign. These allegations are credible, they are numerous. I’ve heard these women’s testimony, and many of them are heartbreaking. And President Trump should resign his position.” She added, “Whether he will ever hold himself accountable is something you really can’t hold your breath for. And so, Congress should have hearings. They should do their investigation. They should have appropriate investigations of his behavior and hold him accountable.”
A supposed "rising star" at the State Department has resigned in anger over President Trump´s and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson´s policies. Elizabeth Shackelford gave her resignation letter to the left-leaning Foreign Policy magazine, which was, of course, all too happy to publish it. Shackelford´s letter says she believes the new administration has abandoned human rights as a priority, and shows disdain for the State Department´s diplomatic work. "I have deep respect for the career Foreign and Civil Service staff who, despite the stinging disrespect this Administration has shown our profession, continue the struggle to keep our foreign policy on the positive
Margaret Thatcher was born one. So were predecessor Prime Ministers Benjamin Disraeli and William E. Gladstone. Diana, the princess of Wales, too. Also William Pitt, who presided over the British victory in the French and Indian War and lent his name to Pittsburgh. And, according to some university authorities four decades ago, me as well. We were all born commoners. But — despite what newspapers, websites and television stations on both sides of the Atlantic have reported with wonder and wild-eyed delight — Meghan Markle, the actor who is to marry Prince Harry, is not a commoner. She’s an American, and
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) faced criticism for saying that President Donald Trump “slut-shamed” Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) with a non-sexual insult, Tuesday. After President Donald Trump made a post on Twitter claiming that Sen. Gillibrand “would do anything” for campaign contributions, Sen. Warren made her own post accusing Trump of “slut-shaming.” “Are you really trying to bully, intimidate and slut-shame @SenGillibrand?” asked Sen. Warren in her post. “Do you know who you’re picking a fight with? Good luck with that, @realDonaldTrump. Nevertheless, #shepersisted.” Are you really trying to bully, intimidate and slut-shame @SenGillibrand? Do you know who you´re picking a fight with? Good
Several women who have accused US President Donald Trump of sexual assault and harassment were expected Monday to call on Congress to open an investigation. A press conference by the women will be hosted by Brave New Films, a media company that recently produced a clip detailing sexual harassment or assault claims by 16 women against Trump. A press release from Brave New Films on Sunday said the women would relate their accounts of Trump’s alleged “groping, fondling, forcibly kissing, humiliating, and harassing women.” The White House has dismissed all of the accusations as lies. During Trump’s presidential campaign, more than
President Donald Trump said Monday a bomb blast in Manhattan highlights the need for an immigration overhaul - as the man arrested was revealed to be part of a large Bangladeshi family sponsored by his aunt or uncle. Trump said that the U.S. ´must fix its lax immigration system, which allows far too many dangerous, inadequately vetted people´ into the country. The Republican president pointed to his controversial travel ban as an example of the kind of policy that needs to be put in place. And he called on Congress to end ´chain migration,´ in which family members are permitted to join relatives
