Laura Ingraham, the radio host and Fox News commentator, is about to become a prime time host on the conservative cable network. Ingraham is expected to take over the 10 p.m. hour on Fox News, according to people who spoke on condition of anonymity. While there may be one or two final details to negotiate, Ingraham has been telling friends that the deal is essentially done, the sources said. Her new show will be part of a broader change to the network´s top-rated prime time lineup. Sean Hannity´s show, currently at 10 p.m., will move one hour earlier to 9

Comments:
Not confirmed yet. Hannity would move to earlier slot time slot.

Interesting that the report comes from CNN.

Since FNC has been kicking CNN in ratings can since when God was a kid, you´d think perhaps CNN might figure out that maybe if they thought that way about their programming, they might start out drawing the Nick Jr. cartoon reruns.

Fox is accustomed to winning every hour of every day, thanks to its incredibly loyal right-leaning audience, so the shifting of Hannity may be an attempt to fortify the 9 p.m. time slot.

That incredibly loyal right-leaning audience is not going to last if the younger Murdochs keep leaning left and refusing to stand by their hosts in the face of all of these false allegations. They´ll end up being like the NFL with half empty stadiums.

Fox placed the five back at five O´clock? Who runs this network.? Who named a show the specialists? Who fired Bolling & O´Reilly? Who kept pushing Hannity´s show back & forth? Who hired Kate, Eboni, Juan Wms, Geraldo, Dana, Shep, Bob Beckley, Ezekiel, Who pushed Hannity back & pushed Megyn Kelly in?Sorry I´ll pass on Fox, they lost me during the presidential election. At one time Fox had a great network with great people.

Okay, here is what really upsets me about Fox

they put Eric Bolling through all that hell and now he is going through a far worse tribulation, having lost his precious son -

so, Fox News is SO worried about Eric Bolling and some pictures texted on his phone but they won´t even stand up for him -

and why didn´t these women come out with their complaints back when all the other things were being discussed at Fox (most notably, Gretchen Carlson and Roger Ailes) - why were they silent?

Aren´t you supposed to report it when someone has sexually harassed you in the workplace so that they are not enabled to continue their pattern of abuse? You´re not supposed to wait until that to see if you might possibly get your own show or some other reward for silence.

So, Fox News did this to Eric Bolling

Meanwhile, Kimberly Guilfoyle was on there again today with what I think I would call a hair-bra -

she has the two front sides of her hair grown long and full (maybe they are extensions) and they are draped on either side of her bust, like apostrophes or would you say, brackets?

Ah, then of course at the end of the show, they had some thoughtful things to say about Eric -

sickening

five people purportedly intelligent people and not one of you can see where all this is going?

Tomorrow - stay tuned - let´s see what dress Kimberly Guilfoyle wears with her hair-bra

Does anybody remember Laura´s first disastrous attempt at a show on Fox? It was at 50 and lasted just a few weeks in 2008. Leaked videos showed her as a vicious harridan. I´ve quit listening to her radio show and I´ll pass on her new show.

Although I love her commentaries on Fox, she substituted for Tucker and was quite unwatchable. Unless she improves her delivery, this will not end well for her. She was manic at times and abrasive. Hopefully, she will settle down and learn to speak with a less strident tone. She makes excellent points but if she is not watchable, they get lost. She definitely has the knowledge. She needs to work on her delivery. A speech coach would help to tone down the nasal quality to her voice.

To the posters who comment on her manic, nasal voice:

She is from Connecticut (as is Ann Coulter), and that is her style. It works MUCH better on radio than TV (although I find her very attractive to look at). As noted, an over-the-top delivery style doesn´t work for long on TV. The occasional guest host spot works well, but long-term it could be a turn-off.

I wonder if she will keep her radio show, since she is a single mom with 2 (or 3?) adopted kids to take care of. This would be a long work day.

I would like Lisa Boothe and Trish Regan to combine to have a new show. I think Ingraham will need some sort of partner. The Five will obviously go back to 5 PM. I think this move is more to get Hannity at 9 PM.

Laura Ingraham is far too confrontational and strident to be watchable on a regular basis. She´s worse than O´Reilly for interrupting and arguing. Tucker Carlson argues, but in a way that isn´t a turnoff.

Well... I guess it will be interesting. I dunno, I stopped watching Fox after they made the big programming changes. FNC is on the ropes and needs to do something. I don´t think this is a bad move... yet. Ratings will tell, but frankly if Fox News is going to do something meaningful, they need to get rid of Rupert´s little Rat-Baggers who are making MSNBC look good!

I´m going to have a very hard time forgiving FOX for the way they treated Eric Bolling. IF they had produced NAMES AND PROOF of the accusations against him, I would have been ok with it. But to treat him that way, which it looks like indirectly could have caused his son´t suicide is unforgivable! He and his wife will never recover. Right now I´m hating FOX!

I haven´t viewed Fox since the debates and I thank Megyn Kelley for that I´ll remain removed from all television news including Fox. Fox Business in the early morning and I´m done for the day.

#28 I agree with you about Greta.

I Like Laura and feel she has grown since her early days in broadcasting. Even her voice has improved with seasoning.
If this is going to be another political talk show...it´s doomed. There needs to be a hook or something different about it. Please no more panels. How about making it all conservative.

In the past couple of years political talk shows and cable 24 hour news has lost it´s luster. No need to know when so predictable and repetitive.
I would rather read a book, watch a movie or go on Lucianne.

Laura was so solid about 10 years ago.

Then she either opened her eyes or began compromising her stands to soften more towards the call of the RINOs.

I admire the fight she put up against W Bush´s amnesty call. It failed, only to be given the "end around" by Nobama and his illegal CACA plan for illegals.

We are not finding old clips of Hitlery and Bubba defending the idea of border security that had been somehow "forgotten" since the new focus on giving illegals 20-somethings amnesty came into fashion.

Good Luck to her, but Fox has walked away from where I want to spend my time. Others watch it religiously, like people drawn to the Weather Channel to see destruction and devastation and being pushed aside for discussion of how we are being taken away from important things by RAKE news.

The Trump tax cuts might not end well, since they’re likely to push interest rates higher than they’d otherwise go, possibly fueling inflation. And the extra debt Uncle Sam is taking on to finance the cuts only adds to the burden on future taxpayers. But for now, the tax cuts seem to be having the intended effect—they’re boosting corporate earnings, stoking investment and, in some cases, trickling down to ordinary workers. In a news release, the company also said it would make a $38 billion tax payment to the U.S. as required by recent changes to the tax law. Apple said this would be the largest tax payment of its kind. While Cook would not "take a position" on how the new tax plan is affecting individuals´ taxes, he said $38 billion tax payment would

Democrats called it the Trump shutdown. Republicans labeled it the Schumer shutdown. But in reality, it was the Dreamer shutdown. The recipe for the current congressional gridlock is complex, but at the top of the list of ingredients are the illegal immigrant Dreamers who pushed Democrats to launch the filibuster that sent the government careening into a partial shutdown. It’s a stunning display of political leverage for a group that, at most, numbers several million, can’t vote now, and even under the most generous proposals wouldn’t be able to cast ballots for another decade. Yet they have amassed an extraordinary amount of

You’ve got to feel for Robert Mueller. The man overseeing the special investigation into Russian election meddling is by all accounts a non-partisan straight shooter, the model image of a public-minded civil servant. Drafted to lead politically polarizing investigation, working under the beady eyes of distrustful congressional Republicans, Mueller has striven to keep his team’s conduct as unimpeachable as possible by bringing on some of America’s sharpest legal minds to check his own work and keeping public comments to a minimum. Imagine how Mueller feels, then, to have to answer so frequently for the partisans and incompetents surrounding him. The special counsel’s biggest

Malia Obama, who is studying at Harvard University, has boyfriend! But some black people on Twitter have questioned her choice in men, because Malia´s new homey, Rory Farquharson, is white. (5 tweets) This racism on the part of some in the black community, who are bruddas and sistas to us all, is very sad. Most white people want us to grow together as a community. I just wish everyone of all races felt the same way. Questions for discussion: After years of Obama´s race baiting, President Trump is the first "post-racial" president to follow him. What do you think President Trump

Congressional investigators believe they are barely beginning to answer the questions raised by the text messages between the FBI´s Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. For several reasons: 1) Strzok and Page were more prolific texters than anyone knew. In a statement late Monday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said FBI investigators have found "over 50,000 texts" in their review of Strzok-Page communications. 2) Even with all those texts, the FBI says it cannot find the couple´s messages between Dec. 14, 2016, and May 17, 2017 — a critical time in the Trump-Russia affair. It´s probably safe to say there is not a single

New text messages from anti-Trump FBI agents reviewed by investigators reportedly make reference to a "secret society," in what could be the nail in the coffin for special counsel Robert Mueller´s Russia investigation. Investigators have reviewed 50,000 text messages on FBI servers looking for all exchanges between anti-Trump FBI agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page during the 2016 election, Fox News reported. The revelation comes as investigators are seeking the whereabouts of approximately five months´ worth of text messages between Page and Strzok. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy told Fox News on Monday that one

The mood on the international conference call at the beginning of this month was somber as Ian Bremmer, president of the political risk consulting firm Eurasia Group, prepared to list off top global dangers in the coming year. Bremmer began with a show-stopping line:"If we had to pick one year for a big unexpected crisis — the geopolitical equivalent of the 2008 financial meltdown — it feels like 2018." The reasons are many, Bremmer cited, but the most prominent causes for global insecurity stem from U.S. President Donald Trump´s move away from global leadership, and China´s eagerness to fill the

Chuck Schumer is taking his big spending boost for Donald Trump’s border wall off the table. The Senate minority leader, through an aide, informed the White House on Monday that he was retracting the offer he made last week to give Trump well north of the $1.6 billion in wall funding Trump had asked for this year, according to two Democrats. And now they say Trump will simply not get a better deal than that on his signature campaign promise. Schumer “took it off,” said Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), the No. 2 Senate Democrat. “He called the White House yesterday and said

Calling the Trump administration’s tax reform plan a “middle-class tax increase,” two California lawmakers introduced a bill that would force large companies to fork over half of their expected savings to the state. Assemblymen Kevin McCarty and Phil Ting, both Democrats, introduced Assembly Constitutional Amendment 22, which calls for a 10 percent surcharge on companies with a net earnings over $1 million. The plan could potentially raise billions for the state´s social services programs. “It is unconscionable to force working families to pay the price for tax breaks and loopholes benefiting corporations and wealthy individuals,” Ting said in a statement,

The Senate on Monday was set to hold a successful vote to reopen the federal government, after Senate Democrats agreed to let the bill through even though it doesn´t include immigration language they are seeking. "We will vote today to reopen the government to continue negotiating a global agreement," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said on the floor. Under the bill up to be called up, the government would be fully funded through Feb. 8, and it would fund the Children´s Health Insurance Program for six years. It would also reopen the government, which has been partially closed since midnight

It has been four months since Megyn Kelly earned the wrath and ire of Jane Fonda for asking the 80-year-old actress about her plastic surgery, and the NBC host is now responding to the backlash. That moment occurred during Kelly´s third episode when she asked the Oscar-winner about what work she had done in the past, which prompted a steely Fonda to stare Kelly down and ask: ´We really want to talk about that now?´ Since then Fonda has complained about the question to a number of outlets, and even mocked Kelly´s question on Today last week during an interview

Some of you misguided young women (the non-misguided ones can ignore me) will resist the obvious fact that you need the romantic advice of a married, 53-year old retired Army officer who identifies as male. Well, judging from that Aziz Ansari story in babe.net, many of you sure need some guidance from someone. And since your fathers apparently went AWOL – or maybe you just didn’t listen – I’ll step in to help. Because I’m a helper. And because since so many of you are so utterly ill-equipped to interact with men, maybe you need a man to mansplain things

While the Establishment Media continues its fabricated government shutdown hysteria through the weekend, some Republicans continue to demand the public be allowed to see a memo which apparently shows a shocking abuse of power during the Obama administration that, among other things, attempted to unduly influence the 2016 Election outcome.(Snip)(ABOVE: RINO Republican Peter King is now advocating a memo on Deep State/Obama administration abuses NOT be released due to concerns over “national security”) Members of Congress like Peter King are right when they say the memo might very well be a threat to security – namely THEIR security as millions of
