Hillary, time to exit the stage
The Hill [DC], by Douglas E. Schoen

Original Article

Hillary Clinton’s latest book “What Happened” and her ensuing book tour are the latest examples of the former presidential candidate creating fresh tensions within the Democratic Party. What happened is not terribly complicated: Clinton lost the election to Donald Trump and weakened the Democratic Party in the process. In her book, Secretary Clinton blames her loss on the Russians, former FBI Director James Comey and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), among others, yet the only person she does not seem to blame is herself. Clinton continues to take the focus away from the party and

She had no reason to step on the stage to begin with. Riding her husband´s coat tails is hardly a resume. Her real on the job experience was dismal.

To Mrs. Clinton, it would seem, presidential level politics amounts to the neighborhood treehouse with a "boys only" sign on it that she intends to storm. By her own admission, when she was a child her mother told her never to back down when dealing with the other kids and, while she has brought that determination to adulthood, she herself has never grown up. She married a perpetual child, raised a very entitled one, her political team consists of various girly-men and frustrated women who, just like her, married them. Like a child she is careless and blithe about things that she is responsible for while playing super-hero against imagined enemies. Like a child she sees fault in outward things and is incapable of self-reflection and wisdom. And like a thoroughly spoiled child she now stands alone wondering where all her suck-ups have gone. This book tour will be a bust and she will finally have to leave us all alone, and with any luck, she will do so in a well-deserved jail cell.

This is from the same guy who yesterday wrote that Mooch was the best hope for the demonrat party in 2020.

He´s right about Illary messing things up for the left, but who does he think will force her out? If they try to muzzle her, she will only double down. He says that she doesn´t stand for anything. Wrong. She only stands for herself.

And then there´s this gem, "The Democrats need a unifying message that focuses on economic growth, tax reform, ideological tolerance, and most importantly, an agenda that focuses on traditional values and religion as a positive force."

Good luck with that, Doug. Tell it to BLM and Antifa and NAMBLA and the LGBT activists and all the other anti-Christian loons in your party.

"The Democrats need a unifying message"

They had one, under BO. They were absolutely certain that THEY were ascendant! BO would fix it all!

He fixed nothing and ruined much more. The economy was stagnant, foreign policy and race relations were in shambles. Threats from global bad actors rose and were unanswered. Immigration was punted. Health care was gutted. The government became even more corrupt and political. The deficit exploded.

THIS is the legacy of dems with a "unified message". Incompetence! Chaos! Anarchy! Disaster!

The dems can message all they want but their policy is babbling idiocy. The country KNOWS this thanks to BO.

Hillary remains a despicable person and a terrible candidate. But it´s fun to watch her toddle around saying "I could have been a contender" as dems groan and wish her a speedy bon voyage. Meanwhile, WHAT else do dems offer to "unify" around? Chuckie? Nancy Pelousy? Fauxcahontas? Antifa, now a terrorist group? BLM rioters and thugs? Reruns of BO´s failed policies (insanity - repeatedly doing things that never work out and claiming THIS TIME it will work)?

Compared to all the other dem losers, Hillary fits right in. They want her gone because they don´t want the competition from another bottom feeder.

The Clintons never helped the Democratic party - not in 1994, not in 1996, not in 2000, not ever. And they helped turn a democratic state to republican with their arrogance and disdain.
I suspect she realizes her time on this earthis not long, and cannot accept that gracefully.

Keep telling everyone how you were victimized and mistreated and how stupid all of us voters are. Keep it up! In fact, double your efforts--not everyone is getting the message. Speak louder, whine longer, blame more people--don´t hold back on how you REALLY feel!

Hillary should never have been on the stage. Terrible candidate and an awful person. The Democrats and the left should never have been surprised she lost, but they were successful in foisting Obama on us so they thought they could do the same with Hillary. They need to wise up, and put forth people that can actually govern. Doubt it will ever happen since they would rather rule than govern.

I think she is to be pitied. Not because she lost, but because her response to the loss is and has been and will continue to be so pathetic. Surely BJ Clinton and Chelsea have to be embarrassed by her conduct.
No matter how much many books she writes or how many interviews she gives nothing is going to change "What Happened."
She has a few good years left. For heaven´s sake lady, try to enjoy your family and your ill gotten fortune. Maybe the ´ill gotten´ bothers conscious? Probably not. She has no conscious, love or caring. She is a monster.

What kind of adult does such a childish act? It´s a liberal thing to make yourself feel good no matter the consequences.
Hillary Clinton´s brain is tormented because she´s failure with a black soul and other people know it that´s what happened.

The problem really is that the Democrat Party has morphed itself into a transnational progressive party seeped in ethnic and racial identity politics along with defending and protecting illegal aliens. They found out in the last election that a majority of the American people who vote don´t go along with such a socialist political philosophy.

So unless the Democrats can transform the US electorate and cancel out enough of the "deplorable" vote by eventually legalizing the massive illegal alien population that may total twenty million and get them on line as socialist oriented Democrat voters along with importing millions more socialist oriented foreign people, including a lot of Muslims through the immigration and refugee processes, the Democrat Party should fall short again in the 2020 election.

Douglas Schoen is a longtime Democrat apparachek who has been running Democrat political campaigns for a longtime, apparently without any wins. Does he know best what the Democrats should do?

The American political community has not taken adequate notice of Hillary Clinton’s book What Happened (the title is not posed as a question). It was generally panned when it came out a couple of months ago for blaming everyone but herself for her defeat. I have never been a Clinton-basher, and I was astonished by the venom, untruthfulness, and zealotry of her account. Mrs. Clinton writes persuasively of seeking “grace” after her defeat, and concluded most of her speeches throughout the 2016 campaign calling for “love and kindness,” yet she is unrelievedly ungracious. She describes her opponent as a clear

Americans have been buried in the last six weeks by a blizzard of reports of sexual harassment, assault, misconduct and malfeasance from our politicians, journalists and Hollywood glitterati. In the last week alone, we´ve seen a picture of Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., during his pre-senatorial days placing his hands over a sleeping woman´s breasts; the suspension of New York Times journalist Glenn Thrush for allegedly harassing young female journalists; and eight women telling the Washington Post that fabled television host Charlie Rose had made unwanted sexual advances ranging from groping to lewd phone calls.

Sexual misconduct allegations against Sen. Al Franken of Minnesota could cost the Democrats a rising star who energized progressives and a rainmaker who drove millions into establishment coffers. During the 2016 election cycle, Franken transferred more than $322,000 in personal campaign funds to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. A similar cash infusion is presumably off limits in the upcoming 2018 midterm elections, as Franken is politically damaged goods now that he stands accused by two women of groping. Perhaps a bigger loss than his direct contributions to Democrats’ Senate campaign arm is the

While it’s becoming obvious that sexual abuse by those in positions of authority is being uncovered in virtually every profession in America, the debate thus far has focused on three “industries” (for lack of a better term) which seem to draw the most public interest. U.S. District Court Judge William Orrick rejected the Trump administration’s argument that the measure only applies to a relatively small pool of money. Orrick also said that Trump cannot set fresh conditions on spending that Congress has previously approved. Monday’s ruling came in lawsuits brought by two California counties, Santa Clara and San Francisco.

The Harrisburg Education Association (HEA) said that at least 45 teachers resigned between July and October, and more have followed since. Those who remain are now demanding more help from administrators. ´I have been kicked, punched, hit, scratched. I´ve had a student physically restraining me in front of my other students,´ first-grade teacher Amanda Shaeffer told board members, according to Penn Live. She added that ´many of the personal things that I have

Donna Brazile said in an interview Tuesday that Russian hackers destroyed “critical data” when they breached the Democratic National Committee (DNC) ahead of the 2016 presidential election. Brazile, who served as interim DNC chair for a portion of last year, made the comments during an interview with Joe Madison on Sirius XM. (Snip) The DNC pushed back on Brazile´s comments, saying in a statement to The Hill, "Her allegation is inaccurate - there is no evidence the voter file was compromised." Brazile stepped in as chair of the DNC after Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) was forced to resign following

WASHINGTON – Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.), the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, said that all felons should have the right to vote. “I’m for allowing people who are incarcerated to have the right to vote. Why not? They’re citizens. No matter what they’ve done, and I’m not defending any of their conduct, but all of it wasn’t bad – but all I’m saying is expanding the vote and eliminating structural barriers is critical,” Conyers said at this month’s annual Legislative & Policy Conference organized by Al Sharpton’s National Action Network (NAN) on Capitol Hill. “It’s not an exaggeration to say

Rep. John Conyers, newly facing sexual misconduct charges from former aides, was praised by fellow Rep. Maxine Waters just last month as a champion of women. During an address to organizers of the national Women’s March in which she lashed out at “rape culture” and President Trump, she singled out the Michigan lawmaker for special attention. (Snip) “He is quiet, he is confident, he is powerful, but he has impeccable integrity on all of our issues. Give John Conyers a big round of applause.” C-SPAN captured her comments and those of others who spoke at the event. In her address she

A second federal judge has halted the Trump administration’s proposed transgender military ban, finding that active-duty service members are “already suffering harmful consequences” because of the president’s policy. The ruling Tuesday by U.S. District Judge Marvin J. Garbis in a Maryland case comes just weeks after another judge in Washington blocked the administration’s proposal that would have stopped military recruitment of transgender men and women and possibly forced the dismissal of current service members, starting in March. The preliminary injunction issued by the judge in Baltimore on Tuesday goes further than the
