Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel on Tuesday assured incoming high schoolers that they need not to worry about President Trump ending the “Dreamers” program, saying Chicago Public Schools are a “Trump-free” sanctuary for young illegal immigrants. “To all the Dreamers that are here in this room and in the city of Chicago: You are welcome in the city of Chicago. This is your home. And you have nothing to worry about,” Mr. Emanuel told a group of freshman on the first day of classes at Solorio Academy High School, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. “Chicago, our schools, our neighborhoods, our

Dreamers indeed. I love the way leftists use words to warp their meaning. Illegal aliens. Period. And what about the "dreamers" who live here legally? Are they just expected to pay for these freeloaders and parasites?

And it should be stated that Rahm the cheap pol has no more interest in these illegals than he does in blacks being gunned down in his city on a daily basis.

Rahm

Why not announce that you are committed to protecting ALL Chicago residents from rampant homicides?

Perhaps you could make Chicago public schools sanctuaries where students are protected from gangs, drug dealers, illegal guns and would be shooters.

Rahm is as flagrant in ignoring laws as his former boss Obama.

A dreamer by any other name is still an illegal.
It´s too bad their parents broke the law by entering our country illegally and dragged them along. Now the children of these illegals must pay the price for their parents´ thumbing their nose at our laws.
The children of these illegals have their parents to thank for this mess they find themselves in. What a legacy, mom and dad! They need to leave and find another country whose laws are more relaxed than ours. If they want to re-enter the USA they need to do it the right and legal way and I would be among the first to welcome them.

In the mean time people that believe the constitution is the law of the land have no party to represent them and a multitude of Judges that are dems not jurists. If PDT fails to drain the swamp due to government elites the wage earners in this country will carry the burden of keeping our evil government and the other non producers in beans and beer. This twisting of terms distorts the reality of what they are trying to do. This tries to define zones that are not under the President´s authority, so the kids can be ´safe´ from the country´s legitimate chief executive. Sort of like ´sanctuary cities´ ostensibly provide sanctuary from U.S. authority, and not entirely different from the slippery "sovereign citizen" concept... a sort of pseudo-secession, like every person has his or her own line-item veto.

I suggest a formal category of oxymoronic propositions, like a treaty with terms of disagreement, or molecular bonding with no electrons shared OR exchanged...

Kind of like the insanity of "transgender". It boils down to a rebellion against objective reality, itself.

Suddenly, it seems like Sen. Charles Schumer (N.Y.) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) are driving the agenda in Congress. The deal President Trump struck with the two Democrats over the objection of the majority leaders in his own party has at least temporarily upended the balance of power in Washington, emboldening Democrats who now see space to work with Trump on immigration and spending. It’s a dramatic shift from Trump’s first seven months in office, when the president worked almost exclusively with Republicans and Democrats were largely an afterthought. But

On this issue, his actions have been more effective than those of past presidents. So far, the assumption that Trump is bungling or exacerbating the crisis with North Korea isn’t justified. Ever since he came down the escalator at Trump Tower that fateful day in June 2015, President Trump’s critics have worried that his anger-management and impulse-control issues would be exposed in an international crisis. Everything we’ve learned about him tells us that he is temperamentally unsuited to diplomacy or putting forward the image of quiet strength and confidence that is synonymous with traditional ideas about good leadership.

Let us define our terms: What is an Act of War? There are two types of Acts of War: de jure, which means as a matter of law and de facto, which means as a matter of fact. Unless a nation literally announces (de jure) to the world community, as in a declaration of war, that it committed an attack on the personnel and/or territory of another nation it comes down to a matter of fact (de facto) as assumed by the nation being attacked. These are the established facts: since late 2016
