President Donald Trump has evoked strong criticism from politicians and pundits after telling reporters on Tuesday that there were “very fine people on both sides” in Charlottesville. But support for the president’s claim has come from an unlikely source: the “failing” New York Times, which interviewed one of those “very fine” people for an article otherwise critical of Trump, arguing that his remarks have led to a widening split in the Republican Party. The Times reported Wednesday evening: ”Good people can go to Charlottesville,” said Michelle Piercy, a night shift worker at a Wichita, Kan., retirement home, who drove all

#1, you make a good point.

I think the reason why President Trump is usually right is that he eschews "nuance", and political spin.

He just looks at things as a realist.

I don´t think he sits in a room and, like the ladies in the Lovesong of J. Alfred Prufrock, "prepares a face to meet the faces he will meet."

He doesn´t really try to outsmart all the smartarse politicians. That´s why he would hit back on such a gutteral level. Nothing sneaky and furtive.

Like a businessman, he looks at the problem at hand, analyzes what is relevant, and then addresses it.

The entire political class, with a few exceptions, can not tolerate someone not playing their game.

NYT would only do this to make the point, again, that opposing Trump isn´t just for neo-N*zis.

I bet anonymous sources would also confirm to the NYT that there were even anti-Trump dogs and cats in Charlottesville last weekend.

Has WaPo tried yet to tell us that Charles Manson is a PDJT fan? As desperate as their anti-Trump propaganda blitz has been all year, they´re bound to do it eventually.

Those remarks were PURPOSEFULLY MISCONSTRUED by Trump’s critics and opponents as saying that some of the white supremacists, KKK members, and neo-Nazis were among the “very fine people IN ORDER TO ADVANCE THEIR LYING AGENDA.

Somehow I think those paid protesters couldn´t even tell you the name of the person on the horse.

A statue is a statue with historical value, no matter what state or side they were on. How sad that those that can will not stop this. This is so wrong.

Very odd they didn´t protest in NYC over sacrilegious art displays.

Gee Wally you think. We sane people knew that PDJT was right about this now Mr. Pollak do this. You need to make sure that this story gets piped into the teleprompters for those morons over at The Fox News Specialists. That show was getting stale with Eric Bolling present. Now with the twits Timpf and Williams running things it´s gotten mega moldy and stinky. Time to cut the cord on it and be done.

Associated Press Says: Don’t Cut Taxes!

The Associated Press is one of many “news” outlets that has gone into overt opposition, now that we have a Republican rather than a Democrat in the White House. Today’s AP “Top News” feature is headlined: Doubts arise on whether corporate tax cut would boost growth. The passive voice is generally a giveaway. Where, exactly, are doubts “arising”? Trump insists that slashing the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to as low as 15 percent would free up valuable cash. Companies would use the money to boost investment, increase employees’ pay, accelerate hiring and speed economic growth. What’s more, corporations

Hillary Clinton admits in a new interview to owning a pink "pussy hat" from the Women´s March on Washington earlier this year, which protested President Trump´s inauguration. "I do!" Clinton told The New York Times when asked if she owned the headwear, according to a story published Saturday. "I was given one that´s going into my archives," the former Democratic presidential candidate added in an interview along with actress and activist America Ferrera. The infamous hats were worn by marchers when thousands of demonstrators descended on Washington, D.C., on the day after Trump´s inauguration in late January to emphasize feminist

A county-level grand jury in Ohio indicted several foreign nationals for election fraud related to the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections. Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced Thursday that the Franklin County Grand Jury returned indictments against seven foreign nationals who allegedly voted illegally in recent U.S. elections. Originally, the Secretary of State and Ohio Attorney General referred 36 cases to O’Brien’s office of non-citizens who “had registered and/or voted in recent elections in Franklin County.” After further investigation by the Board of Elections and Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office, seven foreign nationals, who were not U.S. citizens, were criminally charged

Almost no commentator, no reviewer, has mentioned the most newsworthy fact about Hillary Clinton´s latest memoir—which is the near total lack of anything actually newsworthy in the book. With What Happened, Clinton would at last "let down her hair," Simon & Schuster´s publicists loudly proclaimed before the book´s publication. And that was the line dutifully repeated by reporter after reporter, as though it were a fact. As though, coming from Clinton´s people, it didn´t need to be checked or reported with even the slight distancing of "Hillary Clinton says she´s let down her hair in her new book." But then,

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher stated the fact that none of President Trump’s properties in the path of Hurricane Irma were damaged by the storm shows that God doesn’t exist. Maher said, “But here’s the most amazing thing of all, amid all the destruction in the path of that hurricane, neither Mar-a-Lago, nor Trump’s estate in St. Martin’s, nor any of his golf courses in the path got damaged at all. They all escaped almost completely unscathed, which just goes to show something I have always believed, there is no God.”

Facing harsh criticism, a Harvard dean said early Friday morning that he was revoking his invitation to Chelsea Manning, a former United States soldier convicted of leaking classified information, to be a visiting fellow at the university. After months of denials, the pretext for Susan Rice’s eavesdropping on Trump officials has finally been made public. It had been widely known that Obama’s former National Security Adviser had contrived to unmask the names of top Trump officials who had been spied on by the administration. And the same media that still treats Watergate as the Great American Scandal had claimed that there was nothing “improper” in an Obama loyalist eavesdropping on members of the opposition party. Every time Obama Inc. was caught eavesdropping on opposition politicians, it presented its spin in a carefully packaged “scoop” to a major media
