Something stinks about Charlottesville
American Thinker, by Russ Vaughn

Original Article

Evidence is turning up from, of all places, the Southern Poverty Law Center, as well as Breitbart and others, that this character, Jason Kessler, who organized the suspicious and supposed Alt-Right demonstration in Charlottesville, Va. that blew up in everyone´s face, is a cunning lefty holdover from the Occupy Wall Street movement and a former Barack Obama supporter. I smell Soros money, sabotage, and Democrat dirty tricks here. I´ve been suspicious of the nature of the violence at this supposed Alt-Right demonstration since the news first began breaking. It is no secret that radical elements in the Democrat left have

You have to wonder where this ends. So far these leftist riots have been centered in areas that can be avoided but if it spills into the burbs or (God forbid) small towns or rural areas a lot of people are going to die and most of them are going to be the rioters.

Casualties and violence will be greatly reduced if soros is arrested, convicted of sedition and spends the rest of his miserable life in a spiderhole in the Dry Tortugas. Or, give him what Saddam got.

I said from the beginning this was a setup. Soros is behind this. You have your Mayor and Governor telling the police to stand down so this protest could revolve into a massacre. Then lay the Blame on Trump because for months they have been saying Trump is a racist. This is a ploy for the 2018 elections because the dumb Democrats have nothing else to run all they have is putting Trump down.

The properly-named Alt-Left knows that with the Fake News Enemedia Enterprises firmly and enthusiastically in their pocket -- and a parade of pathetic, duped and easily "shamed" Hillary´s Holocaust Deniers and/or miscellaneous other Trump-haters happily lined up to serve as what Ben Rhodes described as an "echo chamber" --the truth will never catch up with their lies.

The Left has no trouble hiring people to pose as their opposition. I see hired thugs dressed as white supremists beating college girls for the cameras next time. They did it during the 60s.

Conveniently, new polls just out show Trump´s plummeting popularity. These people are so obvious in their smear campaign that it´s nauseating.

Huge rally planned in DC for September so expect more of the same. Maybe it´s time for the Bikers for Trump to get in on the action again. They shut down the lefty loons and BLM stooges quite nicely last time.

All the more reason to stand firmly with President Trump and his condemnation of violence on the Left. When he said that he crashed through a very powerful smokescreen and all the RINOs who spinelessly grant the Left the sanction of "good intentions" felt themselves embarrassingly exposed. Get on board guys, or go join your "innocent victim" pals the Statue Topplers and (coming soon) Book Burners.

I don´t believe this whole crisis over Charlottesville just "happened". Always, in the back of my mind is the fact when Trump won the Democrats said they would keep him in Turmoil through his Term so that he won´t be able to get anything done. Think about it! It´s been one thing after another. Now that the whole Russian thing has pretty much fizzled all of a sudden it´s Trump is Racist! This will probably last another week or so and then we will experience another earth shaking event that will try to affect Trump and his Administration. Personally, I think he should hunker down, keep working on his Agenda, stay off Twitter and do not give ANY Press availability. NONE! He should go about his business and let his People handle the Media. As for his Poll Numbers, I would bet my House that NONE of his followers have left him. NONE! We are smart enough to see what is happening here. The American People are smarter than to fall for ALL of these Crisis.

It´s getting pretty plain to me that the same people who orchestrated the black riots in Ferguson and Baltimore, et al. are behind this. In those cases they created the phony narrative that police were murdering innocent black men. I concluded it was Obama´s work for a number of reasons including a get out the vote effort. Same thing with the Occupy movement. They have now shifted their target from the police to President Trump. Follow the money to find the ones pulling the strings.

I have to wonder if this Kessler fellow, strong Barack Obama-supporter that he is, had a hand in making sure his Alt-Right marchers were clearly guaranteed to encounter a strong crowd of riled up counter-protesters as well.

In a just society, some true reporters and justice department officials would seriously investigate this. And if it were true, several people would be tried for conspiracy, citing violence, and accessory to murder.

But I won´t hold my breath waiting for that to happen.

Here´s our problem. No matter what is eventually proven the split second attention span first impression is permanently seared in the minds of mush. Those mush minds are´t reading these articles or reading our reflections. What % of those who voted for Hillary know her team was completely exposed for fomenting violence at Trump rallies?

In completely non-political contexts I cite examples of how people believe the first news story and are totally ignorant of the contradicting facts that surface after an investigation. Sensationalism sells advertising.

The long term message of Charlottesville will be that a segment of Trump supporting "right winger KKK Neo Nazis" went out and maimed and killed innocent morally superior supporters of those offended by the hate symbolized by Confederate statues.

Of course that won´t stop me from charging the windmill, on Sancho fetch my lance!

It´s all politics. On election night The Lunatic Left planned their strategy to destroy PT. The Russia thing has panned out. So now it the race BS. The purpose in removing Confederate statues is to insult the descendants of the people who fought for and/or supported The Cause. The police were told to stand down so that what happened happened. I´m an not a Nazi or a KKK type. They have dress codes and I´m a slob. Nor am I a Confederate sympathizer. My ancestors were in East Tennessee which was and is a Union stronghold. Which is why my ancestors have been GOP since 1860.

The next time a national group, right or left gets a permit to rally, the state needs to have the national guard on standby. If the governor doesn´t want to because of his political leanings either way, then it´s time for the DOJ to standby. It´s not like the 10th amendment to the constitution has been enforced lately.

Unfortunately, friends and family seem to be succumbing to the manipulation.

Getting a lot of social media posts about relatives who were WWII vets ´fought the Nazis then and don´t want to have to do it now.´

Putting aside that Nazi=socialist for a moment, I honestly DO NOT KNOW why more people cannot see that the threat is from the left in every way possible.

The Overton Window used to shift the debate from ´gay marriage´ as a ludicrous mismatched concept to a legal right is being used to shift history as an accurate recording of facts to a Disney feel-good cartoon with all bad reminders banished and literally destroyed or hidden.

If you are debating the merits of taking down a statue then you have already been ensnared by the leftist trap.

All designed to bring down Trump.

This entire riot was planned, staged and paid for by the Marxist. It exploded as designed. BOTH sides were created and placed by the Marxists. Kessler arranged for the "right", the LA company hired the hooded black coated violent ones for the "left". The news media was directly invited and promised a riot. The left side, when there was not enough violence started throwing coke cans filled with concrete at the "right" protestors to escalate violence. Of course the media ONLY reported violence from the "right." The media had its new hate Trump story and exploited it to maintain the false premise that all conservatives are racists and easily got the GOP to bravely fall down, roll over and soil itself apologizing and denouncing the KKK. Mission accomplished, bonuses paid to the organizer(s). We´ll see if the nation goes full fidiot and goes along with the narrative. Rinse, repeat ad infinitum.

It wouldn´t surprise me if leftists plants were starting the "blood and soil" and other vintage 30s chants, and so the fetishists they suckered in to join them also played along. The whole tiki torch schtick is something I´ve never heard of from such groups during my lifetime.

Yes, there are some kooks on the far right who are easily tricked into playing along with a leftist staged spectacle, which is exactly what it was, and it almost worked.

Trouble is, their scheme resulted in 3 dead and several wounded, and they are the ones who share that responsibility. The President´s initial response turns out to have been the only appropriate one.

Next election, if we oust a couple of dozen more democrat congressmen and senators, I bet we see these antics from the left calm the heck down. The problem is that the left still believe what the media are telling them. They get fake polls telling them that Trump is more unpopular than ever. They read fake stories about chaos in the White House. And they ignore indisputable signs of the left´s decline, such as their fund raising deficit. They are at the point where they have to pay people to protest/riot on the dem´s behalf.

The so called abuse of power against Trump for firing Comey didn´t work, The fake Russia thing didn´t work, The special council probably is at a stand still so they created Charlottesville by paying protestors, editing videos of the riots, the Va Governor falsely stated there were stashes of guns, untrue according to the Va state police, the Va state police stated it was both sides causing problems, not one. So calling Trump a racist is all they have. Every day the same talking points are made by abccbsnbccnnfox it´s a repeat of a repeat of a repeat. People outside of NY & DC could care less about this Charlottesville situation.

What stinks is the stench of another leftist agitprop campaign, from start to finish. You have a clinton operative for governor, leftist activists for mayor and vice-mayor, the accused driver was a hitlery supporter, and the organizer of the alt-right rally was an occupy activist and obama supporter.

The mayor declares the peaceful alt-right rally an illegal gathering, the police are ordered to herd them in only one direction, South, in to the loving arms of antifa and blm. Yet somehow the media narrative is that it is all the fault of right-wing violence and nazis.

If ever there was a conspiracy that needed investigation by the Feds, this is it. If we had a media that would tell this truth, such things couldn´t happen. Instead, the media are apparently a vital part of the conspiracy, to spread the narrative of the "evil right-wing" nazis, which now seems to include all of the GOP and Trump.

When the Left is involved, there is no such thing as a "spontaneous uprising/riot/demonstration.

The FBI should be investigating this system of organized riots and mayhem. Total up the costs in property damage, in physical assaults, in denying citizens the right to hear their candidates, the loss of work time. RICO is a good place to start.

Prior to the NAZIs taking power, they were in violent street brawls with the Bolsheviks and other communist groups.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced this week the company was turning over more than 3,000 Russia-linked ads to congressional committees that are investigating the extent of the Russian 2016 election interference campaign. Facebook disclosed on Sept. 6 it had identified $100,000 in advertising bought by a shadowy company tied to the Kremlin. Schiff said the Russia-linked advertising was designed to pit Americans against each other on some of the most divisive issues

Karl Rove, a former senior adviser to President George W. Bush, ripped into President Donald Trump on Sunday for wasting his platform and his time attacking NFL players protesting by kneeling during the national anthem. “The president has two very valuable assets: his time and his voice. This president wastes it when he engages with things like this,” Rove said Sunday during a Fox News panel discussion on Trump´s recent controversial attacks of NFL players who protest for civil rights by taking a knee during the national anthem. Rove added that the president often spends time he ought to be

In Kaepernick and Goodell, Trump Shows

Colin Kaepernick and Roger Goodell hate Donald Trump. Whose side are you on? One of the differences between political and gridiron strategy involves picking one’s opponents. In the latter, the schedule dictates; in the former, guile does. The president manipulated some of the most hated people in America to hate him. He chose his enemies wisely. They unwisely fell into his trap. Maybe next time, Trump should call out Skelator, Cobra Commander, or Moriarty. Alas, one judges those villains not dumb enough to get all of their sinister friends to publicly denounce their denouncer the way Kaepernick and Goodell did.

In Birmingham, they don´t love the governor. More specifically, they don´t love 73-year-old Robert Bentley, the disgraced Republican governor who used taxpayer cash and public resources to have and to hide a steamy affair with a much younger woman. Though Bentley accepted a plea deal and moved out of the governor´s mansion months ago, an embarrassed Alabama electorate still remembers the shame he brought on their state. That´s a problem for Sen. Luther Strange. He could lose his Senate seat because of another man´s sex scandal. "It´s hard to explain to anyone outside the state," says Rep. Bradley Byrne, who

Giants owners John Mara and Steve Tisch had a harsh reaction to President Trump’s called for NFL owners to fire players who refuse to stand for the national anthem. “Comments like we heard last night from the president are inappropriate, offensive and divisive,” Mara and Tisch said in a statement Saturday. “We are proud of our players, the vast majority of whom use their NFL platform to make a positive difference in our society.” Trump initially addressed the issue during a campaign rally speech in Alabama for Senator Luther Strange, asserting that owners should fire “any son of a b—h”

Wall Street might be shocked to learn it is helping bankroll the anti-Trump “resistance” movement that’s aggressively fighting policies it favors — including corporate tax cuts and the repeal of Obama-era banking and health-care regulations. The Obama administration’s massive shakedown of Big Banks over the mortgage crisis included unprecedented back-door funding for dozens of Democratic activist groups who were not even victims of the crisis. At least three liberal nonprofit organizations the Justice Department approved to receive funds from multibillion-dollar mortgage settlements were instrumental in killing the ObamaCare repeal bill and are now lobbying against GOP tax reform, as well

President Donald Trump has called for fans to boycott the NFL if players don´t stop ´disrespecting´ the US by kneeling during the national anthem - as his rant continues to draw backlash from high profile athletes. Trump had earlier denounced the protests by NFL players and rescinded a White House invitation for NBA champion Stephen Curry in a two day rant that targeted top professional athletes and brought swift condemnation from league executives and star players alike on Saturday. Early Sunday morning, Trump continued his Twitter tirade and called for an NFL boycott. ´If NFL fans refuse to go to games until

The recent behavior of a number of spoiled, privileged, ungrateful NFL players is unacceptable to most Americans, NFL fans or not. (snip) It would be so satisfying if a group of patriotic fans to have at the ready a flash mob of singers at a stadium game. If the players "take a knee" to show their disdain for the flag and the national anthem, these talented souls would wait until just before the kick-off and then stand up and belt out the national anthem themselves. Chances are hundreds of those in attendance would join them. Then they would exit the

As more and more leaks about the ongoing “Russian collusion” witch hunt by Robert Mueller appear in print, it seems to me that if Russia had been trying to erode our faith in our institutions, the Deep State is accomplishing what Russia failed to do. The Obama claque’s efforts were initially intended to help Clinton when they thought she would win and no one would know about their crimes. Then they continued the unlawful spying to cover up their role in the worst case of misuse of federal power in our history, to effect the removal or emasculation of the President,

His pre-dawn raid was meant to intimidate Manafort, not just to collect evidence. Robert Mueller’s sprawling special-counsel investigation is playing hardball. It was not enough to get a search warrant to ransack the Virginia home of Paul Manafort, even as the former Trump campaign chairman was cooperating with congressional investigators. Mueller’s bad-asses persuaded a judge to give them permission to pick the door lock. That way, they could break into the premises in the wee hours, while Manafort and his wife were in bed sleeping. They proceeded to secure the premises — of a man they are reportedly investigating for tax and financial crimes, not gang murders and Mafia hits — by drawing their guns on the stunned couple, apparently to check their pajamas for weapons. Mueller’s probe more resembles an empire, with 17 prosecutors retained on the public dime. So . . .

There really ought to be a statute of limitations on how long John McCain can play the tortured war hero card. His war hero status was exhausted with me a decade ago over a single instance. Brad Smith, who as chairman of the Federal Election Commission and law professor dared to criticize the McCain-Feingold campaign finance law on constitutional grounds (later vindicated in several Supreme Court cases culminating in the glorious Citizens United decision), came before a Senate committee one day to testify about campaign finance laws. He had recently had surgery, and had to appear in a wheelchair. Smith wheeled himself
