The Left Is Doing Exactly
What White Nationalists Want

Extremism: It wasn´t long ago that Americans were being told repeatedly not to overreact to Islamic terrorism, because that would only serve as a terrorist recruiting tool. That´s worth remembering now, in the wake of the white supremacist attack in Charlottesville, Va. Harsh language, bitter attacks, backlash against attacks, accusing whole groups of being in bed with terrorists, were all, we were told again and again, "just what ISIS wants." "The Islamic State wants the West to overreact," was a typical comment over the years. One commentator complained after the Manchester bombing in England this summer that saturation coverage of terrorist attacks by

The reverse is also true. Giving publicity and attention to the Antifa and BLM thugs serves as a recruiting tool for them. Quit covering any of these protests and riots and the thugs will stay home.

Let´s be clear. The white supremacists were not the only ones attacking. Words mean something and when you present a falsehood or an omission, the truth is buried. The violence came from both sides. Neither party was innocent and both came that day looking for confrontation. Without a truthful premise, you have nothing but conjecture and this situation demands facts.

As I see it part of the problem is the left does not have a convenient handle as to what to call them. The right are called the KKK or Nazis which are easily identifiable hate groups. However the left are just say "the left." Call them what they are "communists." Communism doesn´t have a bad connotation it did when I grew up 50 years ago because of our educational system of indoctrination. But, Stalin and Mao made Hitler look like a piker when it came to murdering innocent people. Those two murdered around 100 million people.

The White Nationals are doing exactly what the left wants. Providing the opportunity to foist the narrative that anybody who isn´t a proper progressive is inexorably linked to violent extremists of the far or alt right. Foisting the narrative that somehow the extreme manifestation of conservatism or far right magically becomes national socialism. Foisting the narrative that the KKK is part of the Republican base rather than a significant part of the Democrat party for over a century.

And just in case the White Nationalists were to fall short of their desired table setting, the leftists joined in, belts and suspenders you know.

Millennials Need Trump´s Tax Cuts And Reforms
Investor´s Business Daily, by Salvator J La Mastra V    Original Article

Millennials, through no fault of their own, have been hit the hardest over the last decade by the Great Recession, the outrageous price increases of higher education, and failing ObamaCare. Millennials have seen double-digit unemployment and a 700% increase in the cost of education since the 1990s. In today´s lopsided economy, college degree-worthy jobs have disappeared and minimum-wage and part-time employment have become the norm due to the disastrous Affordable Care Act. Millennials are left, on average, with $35,000 of student loan debt. And many are often out of work, or they´re working for the minimum

Trump´s Gentle-Seeming U.N. Reforms
Are Really An Ultimatum: Reform Or Die

U.N.: President Trump will present a set of wide-ranging reforms for the United Nations this week that will actually force the dysfunctional organization to begin living up to its lofty ideals. This may be the corrupt, badly disorganized U.N.´s final chance at survival. Trump had harsh things to say about the U.N. during last year´s election. Sadly for the U.N., none of them was fake news or an exaggeration. The U.N. is corrupt. The U.N. is ineffective. The U.N. is wasting billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars. Trump — and his able ambassador to the U.N., Nikki Haley — have proposed a 10-point

Health Reform: After nine fruitless months, Republicans have finally come up with an ObamaCare replacement plan that is simple and appealing, and that should easily pass the Senate. Will the GOP blow it again? Put together by Sens. Bill Cassidy and Lindsay Graham, the plan would take the money being spent on ObamaCare´s insurance subsidies and Medicaid expansion, and give it to states in the form of fixed block grants. States would then have wide latitude in how they spend the money — for example, they could use it to set up high-risk pools, reduce out-of-pocket costs, pay providers or

Taxes: Is the GOP getting serious about tax reform at last? Republicans in Congress say they´ll unveil the outlines of a consensus plan in two weeks, as President Trump hits the hustings to stump for tax reform. We hope this isn´t another false start. "Reform" is one of those words that sounds easy, but really isn´t. Every political interest group has a dog in the fight, and no one wants to give up a cherished deduction. And few politicians want to be seen as cutting taxes on Americans in the top income brackets or corporations, a sure way to be

Promises: Is President Trump going back on a centerpiece of his campaign and the rallying point for much of his base? It sure looked like it. Trump should know, however, that he will get nothing in return from Democrats. There is always the temptation in Washington for conservatives to give up on their principles, if only to gain a reprieve from the endless negative coverage. When it happens, the press typically describes the betrayal as "growing in office." Trump was hardly a rock-ribbed conservative when he came to Washington. His stated positions on health care, drug prices, trade and other issues put

Health Reform: Democrats are lining up to endorse Sen. Bernie Sanders´ plan to socialize medicine. But have they actually read what it is they are signing up for? Sanders touts his "Medicare for all" as the solution to all our nation´s health care woes. No more premiums, no more deductibles or copays, no provider networks. The government would pick up all the costs, except for possibly minimal copays for prescription drugs. Private insurance would be effectively outlawed. A third of Senate Democrats co-sponsored Sanders´ bill, and a similar measure in the House has 117 Democratic co-sponsors. Sanders is now the standard-bearer for

If you can´t win, change the rules. Democrats and progressive activists are joining forces to urge the U.S. Supreme Court to interfere in how election districts are drawn in all 50 states. In Gill v. Whitford, they´re challenging how Republican lawmakers in Wisconsin drew the state´s election map. The justices will hear the case on Oct. 3. If they decide to strike down Wisconsin´s map and dictate new rules for election map making, it could turn winners into losers and vice versa across the country. Growth: Buried amid a deluge of nasty news ranging from the growing North Korean nuclear threat to killer hurricanes hitting our coasts, the Census Bureau reports that median household income, a broad gauge of family financial well-being, hit its highest level ever last year. That´s another strong sign that the economy is trying to break out of its 10-year growth slump. The median household income last year was $59,039, up 0.7% from the previous record of $58,655 set in 1999, the year the dot-com boom went bust. Real median incomes for married households with both spouses working soared to $106,000

Health Care: On the surface, the Census Bureau´s report looks like another win for ObamaCare, as the uninsured rate dropped to 8.8% in 2016. But a close look shows that whatever gains ObamaCare was making are over. The Census report says that, overall, the number of uninsured dropped by 914,000 between 2015 and 2016. That pushed the uninsured rate down three-tenths of a percentage point. It´s being heralded as further evidence that ObamaCare is working, and that Republican efforts to dismantle the program are horribly misguided. But look inside the numbers. But there´s also no question that it was not nearly the storm it was predicted by all the experts to be. That´s because the Senator in question is a Democrat. A CNN story this week about the opening of the trial against New Jersey Sen. The 2017 Emmys Awards ceremony wasted no time getting political during Sunday’s opening segment, as host Stephen Colbert and friends made political jokes within the very first minute — and Colbert quickly accused President Trump of treason. The “Mom” actress mentioned global warming and fighting leaders, and joked that HBO was bringing back “the Confederacy,” a reference to the flap over HBO’s planned new drama series “Confederate.” Moments later, Colbert sang about the virtues of television,

The Big Idea: If I had to stock Hillary Clinton’s new memoir in a bookstore, I’d be tempted to place it in a section on self-help or bereavement. “What Happened” was quickly strip-mined for political nuggets after its publication last Tuesday. As I went through it over the weekend, though, what struck me most was how the wounded Democrat coped after her crushing defeat last November. In short, Clinton has read voraciously and eclectically — for escape, for solace and for answers. The collection of works that she cites across 494 pages showcases a top-flight intellect and would make for a compelling graduate school seminar.

Climate change poses less of an immediate threat to the planet than previously thought because scientists got their modelling wrong, a new study has found. New research by British scientists reveals the world is being polluted and warming up less quickly than 10-year-old forecasts predicted, giving countries more time to get a grip on their carbon output. (Snip) The discrepancy means nations could continue emitting carbon dioxide at the current rate for another 20 years before the target was breached, instead of the three to five predicted by the previous model. “When you are talking about a budget of 1.5
