Charlottesville response

Some House Democrats renewed calls for Congress to impeach President Trump on Tuesday after he resorted to blaming "both sides´ for a violent rally in Charlottesville, Va., this past weekend organized by white nationalist groups. "POTUS is showing signs of erratic behavior and mental instability that place the country in grave danger," said Rep. Jackie Speier, D-Calif., in a tweet Tuesday night. "Time to invoke the 25th Amendment." (Tweet) Rep. Gwen Moore, D-Wis., also called on Republicans to initiate impeachment proceedings against Trump. "As we once again hear Donald J. These people are bound and determined to thwart the will of the American people. I don´t know what it will take to either drag them kicking and screaming into the real world, or get rid of them. Either way works for me.

Stock market soaring. Unemployment at record lows. Illegal border crossings down 70% (too bad, so sad for your future election hopes), our enemies backing off, our military getting resupplied and upgraded, etc., etc., etc.

Bummer for you. Great for America.

Trump´s Mental instability ? How about these dems are showing *their* mental impairment when they hear the president say he condemns nazis and racists, but claim he said the exact opposite. When the president clearly Is talking about those who are NOT nazis, they claim he is defending nazis.

The Left really could care less about America´s security and progress. They are outstanding HATERS determined to not abide by a fair election ONLY because they LOST that election. Their INTENTIONAL disruption of Trump´s presidency is sedition.

The silver lining to all of this is that the demonrats actually believe that rioting, destroying property, calling half the country racists and screaming for impeachment are going to help them win elections.

They learned absolutely nothing from the 2016 election when their party and their platform was completely rejected by the country. They should go back and take another look at that county by county election map.

After listening to Paul Ryan this morning, I have a lot more to say about his remarks and Gwen Moore´s remarks about impeachment.

This whole issue is the equivalent of a bad divorce. The ones that suffer the most are the kids because the divorcing parents can´t be mature about their split. They become immature when they expect everyone around them to take their side. Especially the kids.

The same thing is happening here. We have two sides that play identity politics and they expect the President to take their side. We had eight years of identity politics and because the Republicans could not stand up for themselves, President Donald Trump should fall in line with the infantile identity politics.

In fact, he should be neutral and his comments were fitting for the situation on Saturday. He abhors all of this immaturity.

Erratic behavior is the trade maek of the democratic party. They have become totally unhinged and mentally unstable since Trump WON the election. They refuse to believe he WON. Every time Trump makes a statement they become unhinged. If you look at the videos of the Charlottesville riots, if you listen to witnesses, people who were actually there, you will see that Trump was exactly right. BOTH sides came with weapons, both sides were guilty. But democrats can´t see it because of their blind hatred of TRump. They are racists and bigots, every one of the. Democrats have no morals, values or soul. Got it.

The president and in fact the whole government are bound to uphold the constitution. Americans under the constitution have the right to hold any ideas they want to hold and to express them. It´s called freedom of speech and would be unnecessary if people only held popular ´politically correct´ ideas and beliefs. They can´t always act on their ideas but they can hold and express them. Those egregious toadies expressing Naziism, white supremacy and racism, with their permit to protest, have every right to spew their hateful speech even as the anti-protestors that is the Antifa communists call for the overthrow of the US government, constitution and the American way of life . . . their only problem, they didn´t have a permit. Marginally, in this case, the White Supremacists have the legal edge over the Antifa Communists because of their permit.

Trump is catching hell for not supporting the Communists over the White Supremacists. he´d be an idiot to choose sides. Both are reprehensible and both are going after each other violently. Good for trump for being on the side of he US Constitution.

The liberal and progressive Democrats cannot impeach President Trump without the help of enough wimpy establishment Republicans to bring any Democrat impeachment efforts over the finish line. Once it becomes clear that some wimpy Republicans intend to support a Democrat and leftist impeachment initiative, efforts in their districts should be made to run quality candidates against them in the upcoming Republican elections. That will quickly get their attention.

Wall Street might be shocked to learn it is helping bankroll the anti-Trump “resistance” movement that’s aggressively fighting policies it favors — including corporate tax cuts and the repeal of Obama-era banking and health-care regulations. The Obama administration’s massive shakedown of Big Banks over the mortgage crisis included unprecedented back-door funding for dozens of Democratic activist groups who were not even victims of the crisis. At least three liberal nonprofit organizations the Justice Department approved to receive funds from multibillion-dollar mortgage settlements were instrumental in killing the ObamaCare repeal bill and are now lobbying against GOP tax reform, as well

What do a retweet of a billion-dollar presidential golf swing hitting a hole-in-one into the back of a former presidential Democrat candidate, the new name poetically given to a crazed lunatic who has a fetish for shooting off misguided rockets, and a March 4th claim of “wiretapping” in Trump Tower that took seven months to be proven true, all have in common? President Donald J. Trump‘s magnificent way of communicating to the American people and the world instantaneously -- tweeting. What Twitter is for President Trump in 2017, Facebook was for former President Obama in 2008. There has been much

Sen. John McCain almost certainly just killed TrumpCare — and gave a boost to managed-care stocks such as UnitedHealth (UNH) and Centene (CNC). The Arizona Republican declared that he couldn´t "in good conscience" vote for the Graham-Cassidy plan to repeal ObamaCare and replace it with block grants to states. John McCain?Verified account @SenJohnMcCain I cannot in good conscience vote for Graham-Cassidy. A bill impacting so many lives deserves a bipartisan approach. The news brought a sudden turnaround in managed-care stocks, though much of that was short-lived. Shares of Centene, whose fortunes are more tied to the ObamaCare exchanges and Medicaid

Former First Lady Michelle Obama has spoken about what life was like for her and her family during her eight years in The White House. Her candid comments came during a moderated discussion at a tech conference in Salt Lake City, Utah on Thursday evening. ´It´s like being shot out of a cannon while drinking from a fire hydrant blind,´ she explained as she told of how she got used to her new way of living. ´You have to tell The White House what kind of toilet paper you like. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) announced on Friday that he will vote against the latest GOP effort to repeal ObamaCare, potentially dooming the legislation. “I cannot in good conscience vote for the Graham-Cassidy proposal. I believe we could do better working together, Republicans and Democrats, and have not yet really tried," he said in a statement, referring to the legislation spearheaded by GOP Sens. Lindsey Graham (S.C) and Bill Cassidy (La.). McCain´s announcement leaves GOP leadership with no room for error.

Former Democratic Rep. Donna Edwards (D-Md.) tweeted that she hopes all NFL players kneel during the national anthem on Sunday in response to President Trump´s remarks attacking Colin Kaepernick. The Senate’s top Democrat offered praise for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) after he said he would oppose the latest ObamaCare repeal bill, which narrows the chance that Republicans can get the legislation to President Trump’s desk. “John McCain shows the same courage in Congress that he showed when he was a naval aviator,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said an hour after McCain’s statement. “I have assured Senator McCain that as soon as repeal is off the table, we Democrats are intent on resuming the bipartisan process.” McCain is the second Republican, after Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.), to announce

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell snapped back at “divisive” comments about the league Saturday, hours after President Trump urged team owners to fire players who won’t stand for the national anthem. At a political rally Friday night in Alabama, Trump griped that players who kneel for “The Star Spangled Banner” disrespect the flag and should lose their jobs. (Snip) Goodell issued a statement via Twitter at 9:16 a.m. Saturday: “Divisive comments like these demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL, our great game and all of our players, and a failure to understand the overwhelming force for good our clubs

Hillary Clinton said on MSNBC Saturday that women who support President Trump are “publicly disrespecting themselves.” (VideoTweet) “When I see women doing that, I think, ‘Why are they publicly disrespecting themselves? Why are they opening the door to have someone say that about them in their workplace, in a community setting? Do they not see the connection there?´” Clinton told MSNBC’s Joy Reid on AM Joy. His pre-dawn raid was meant to intimidate Manafort, not just to collect evidence. Robert Mueller’s sprawling special-counsel investigation is playing hardball. It was not enough to get a search warrant to ransack the Virginia home of Paul Manafort, even as the former Trump campaign chairman was cooperating with congressional investigators. Mueller’s bad-asses persuaded a judge to give them permission to pick the door lock. That way, they could break into the premises in the wee hours, while Manafort and his wife were in bed sleeping. They proceeded to secure the premises — of a man they are reportedly investigating for tax and financial crimes, not gang murders and Mafia hits — by drawing their guns on the stunned couple, apparently to check their pajamas for weapons. Mueller’s probe more resembles an empire, with 17 prosecutors retained on the public dime. So . . .

There really ought to be a statute of limitations on how long John McCain can play the tortured war hero card. His war hero status was exhausted with me a decade ago over a single instance. Brad Smith, who as chairman of the Federal Election Commission and law professor dared to criticize the McCain-Feingold campaign finance law on constitutional grounds (later vindicated in several Supreme Court cases culminating in the glorious Citizens United decision), came before a Senate committee one day to testify about campaign finance laws. He had recently had surgery, and had to appear in a wheelchair. Smith wheeled himself

President Donald Trump says NFL owners should fire any players who protest during the national anthem - and called on fans to walk out if they see anyone doing so. Several of the league´s top stars have refused to stand during "The Star-Spangled Banner" to protest the treatment of black people by police in the United States. Quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who was the first to take a public stance on the issue while playing for the San Francisco 49ers, hasn´t been signed by an NFL team for this season. While he didn´t mention Kaepernick specifically by name Trump indicated he believes any players protesting are disrespecting the flag and deserve
