Cuba’s assault on US diplomats proves
the foolishness of Obama’s outreach

New York Post, by Editorial

Original Article

‘Sometimes we allow ourselves to be trapped by a certain way of doing things,” President Barack Obama said back on July 1, 2015. But re-opening the US Embassy in Cuba would show “we don’t have to be imprisoned by the past.” Well, it’s now obvious that Cuba’s government has no desire to break with the past: Several American diplomats (and at least one Canadian) have come home from Havana after losing their hearing — victims of a sonic device placed in or near their Cuban residences. Raul Castro and his minions deny all responsibility, of course, and it’s not clear that

We should close the Embassy, bring home any Diplomats there and shut off anyone from visiting Cuba. Basically, rescind any and all orders by Obama that allow Americans to visit or to do business with Cuba!

This makes sense when you consider the high level of medical care in Cuba. Stay in one of these homes and after a while, you can´t hear Michael Moore´s ranting or Sparky´s poignant racist speeches.

Think about, did Obama ever do one positive thing for this country. Not one, everything this moron ever did was anti American. Everything he ever did was done to hurt this country, not help it. Got it.

President Obama’s Hysterical Facebook Post

Obama’s brief vacation from opining on national affairs has ended. He’s taken to Facebook to blast Trump’s decision on DACA. Heavily rhetorical and sloppy in its arguments, it’s worthy of a post on the Huffington Post or DailyKos. A couple of things: –He again invokes the “if Congress doesn’t act” principle of unilateral presidential government. He says of the DREAM Act, “I asked Congress to send me such a bill. The bill never came. And…my administration acted.” This is not how our system works. –He pretends all DACA did was “lift the shadow of deportation from these young people.” Actually,

Hurricane Harvey revealed the

Following the news over the past weeks and months was making me sad. It gave the impression of an America hopelessly hostile and divided by race, class and politics, at swords’ points over even the smallest disagreements, with a government that seemed unable to perform the simplest task effectively. Then came Hurricane Harvey, and the real America appeared. The government response to Harvey — unlike the earlier botched responses to Hurricanes Katrina and Sandy — seems to be going well. But the real story isn’t what the government is doing. It’s what ordinary Americans are doing. Across the affected area, Americans are

Over and over again, from the mouths of politicians in both parties, identity politics purveyors and cheap labor lobbyists, we hear the same refrains about President Obama´s 800,000 amnestied illegal alien youths: "They don´t deserve to be punished." "They deserve protection." "They deserve the American dream." Deserve, deserve, deserve. Over and over again, in countless cookie-cutter op-ed pieces published over the past month, so-called DREAMers have vociferously lamented President Donald Trump´s push to eventually undo their unconstitutional five-year reprieves from deportation plus coveted work permits: "DREAMers like me have flourished under DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood A

For the first time in nearly four decades, a sitting US senator goes on trial Wednesday on federal bribery charges in a case that could have profound political impact. Prosecutors have laid out a strong case against New Jersey Democrat Robert Menendez in their indictment. But in the two years since it was unveiled, the Supreme Court has made it much harder to win a conviction. The senator is charged with taking nearly $1 million in personal gifts and campaign cash from a longtime friend, allegedly in return for political favors. Menendez says the favors were very much like those in the cases

Hurricane Irma, the most powerful Atlantic Ocean hurricane in recorded history, made landfall early Wednesday in the Caribbean islands. At the far northeastern edge of the Caribbean, authorities on the Leeward Islands of Antigua and Barbuda cut power and urged residents to shelter indoors as they braced for Hurricane Irma´s first contact with land early Wednesday. Officials warned people to seek protection from Irma´s "onslaught" in a statement that closed with: "May God protect us all."The Category 5 storm had maximum sustained winds of 185 m.p.h., according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami. Newly disclosed evidence that then-FBI Director James Comey began working on a statement to reject criminal charges against former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton months before she and other key witnesses were interviewed by the FBI shows that President Trump was right to fire Comey. The evidence proves that Trump and his supporters were correct to say throughout the presidential campaign that Washington operates on a “rigged” crony system that serves the interests of the powerful and rewards corporate globalists to the detriment of the American people. Canadian negotiators are demanding the United States roll back so-called "right to work" laws – accused of gutting unions in some U.S. states by starving them of money – as part of the renegotiation of the North American free-trade agreement. The request is part of a push by Ottawa to get the U.S. and Mexico to adopt higher labour standards under the deal. Mexico, meanwhile, is campaigning to include its oil and gas sector in the deal. These major moves on the labour and energy files came over the weekend at the second round of NAFTA renegotiations in Mexico City. One group

We’re half a block away, sharing with another family a four-bedroom house that would be a mansion in the city. I’m not complaining, but it’s running about as much to rent at the end of the summer as our home south of Prospect Park, by no means a mansion, would go for any time. My wife asked our waitress

North Korea has threatened to launch an electromagnetic pulse attack that could shut down the United States’ power grid — causing months of blackouts that could bring society to a halt, with rampant crime and social chaos. Experts say the threat posed by an EMP — the side effect of an atmospheric nuclear detonation — is significant, and New England is particularly vulnerable. The rogue communist state announced yesterday it detonated what it described as a hydrogen bomb in an underground site, its sixth and by far most powerful nuclear test to date. It also released photos of dictator Kim

Along the Santa Ana River is a bike path that allows people to ride all the way from Prado Dam past Angels Stadium in Anaheim to the ocean. Next to that path is a dirt shoulder that has increasingly become home to hundreds of homeless people living in makeshift tents. Some OC residents are afraid to jog or ride the trail and

Better a million dead North Koreans than a thousand dead Americans. The fundamental reason our government exists is to protect our people and our territory. Everything else is a grace note. And the words we never should hear in regard to North Korea’s nuclear threats are “We should’ve done something.” Instead, we should do something. Pyongyang’s Sunday test of a hydrogen bomb of devastating power begs for decisive action. Must we wait until Americans die? A preemptive strike against Kim Jong-un’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs would be a terrible thing, demanding a vast military effort (if done properly)
