Land of the living dead: Police forced

taken deadly drug 50 times more potent

The black jeep had slammed into a parked saloon in a quiet suburban street, just beside a house having a yard sale. Inside were two middle-aged people who looked like corpses. Their eyes were closed, their mouths wide open, their bodies slumped together in deathly embrace. The man’s head was tilted backwards while the woman at the wheel lay across his shoulder. A syringe lay between her legs, and another was on the dashboard. It was a grotesque scene. A couple of drug addicts so desperate to get their fix that they had injected right outside their dealer’s house –

Libertarians that support drug legalization are supporting a disaster for one simple reason: drug addicts lack the rational ability to choose. Once you stop acting rationally, the free market is no longer functional.

Junkies killing themselves really isn´t new. But it is new when middle class folks wind up as junkies.

Sad, but the "victims" have to be assigned a good bit, maybe most, of the blame here. Yes, too many addictive painkillers being prescribed, no doubt, but I have been given a bottle of 30 or 50 hydrocodone after othopeadic surgery. I took one or two, because they scare the hell out of me, and I don´t imagine that I am some super person who won´t get addicted. And I got informed about the drugs I was prescribed.

This is not beyond the powers of any normal person.

Funny how now the propaganda media has latched on to the catchy phrase "Opioid Epidemic" and are using it to boost their low ratings and but strangely their carefully tailored reporting does not make any connection to the past 8 years of the open borders policy under Ex-Dictator Obama and the democrat communist party.

They love to use words or phrases like "flooding or flooded the country" "drug cartels" but make no connection to their destructive support for the implementation of open borders by their masters in the democrat communist party and how all of these drugs are able to get into this country on such a massive scale.

Opioid Epidemic, Open Borders - Just a couple of more tools in the democrat communist party´s tool kit to use in achieving America´s destruction.

One of the reasons why some people get addicted to opioid drugs, I think, is impatience. Many people have become used to instant gratification, they want something NOW not in an hour or a day or a week. If you take hydrocodone, for example, it usually takes 30 to 60 minutes for full effect. The result can be that someone in pain thinks the dose they took is not working, so they double down. After a while, you start getting used to higher and higher doses to get the relief NOW! For many chronic pain sufferers, this leads to more potent drugs with bad results. Doctors should educate their patients on the proper use of pain killers. Illegal drug use is another story.

These drugs that are being injected are not prescribed by Physicians, they are being smuggled into the U.S.

Lumping legally obtained narcotics with "street drugs", allows the Media and Politicians to make your Family Doctor and MS-13 equally culpable for the "Opiod Crisis".

Where is Personal Responsibility in all of this?

OK, this is harsh!

Do you want to solve the drug problem?

Make drugs free, yup, that will solve the problem quickly.

It is a self-depleting solution. Fits the tenets of the Theory of Evolution (Survival of the Fittest). It´s already the religion of the enlightened educator class.

Since we already believe in the wanton destruction of infants, why don´t we codify free drugs and make it the law?

Eventually, it will solve the drug problem just like abortion solves the population/unwanted results of sex problem.

Exactly. Friend of mine, VA vet, prescribed unlimited hydrocodone for “pain.” Opioid Constipation is a known side effect. What did he do when he suffered pain from constipation? Took more hydrocodone! End result. Severe impacted bowel that cost him his life.

Of their own free will, they made bad choices. They should face the consequences.

GETTYSBURG, Pa.- Officials with the National Park Service said the Confederate monuments at Gettysburg National Military Park in Pennsylvania will not be removed from the battlefield. Katie Lawhon, senior adviser for the park service´s Gettysburg battlefield office, told the Reading Eagle (http://bit.ly/2uTe2rn ) the site-specific memorials are important, and the park service´s job is to historically and objectively tell the stories the monuments commemorate. Her reassurance comes after a heated debate over Confederate monuments spread across the U.S. Three people died amid turmoil in Charlottesville, Virginia, Saturday over the planned removal of a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.

Seven members of the public including a policeman were hurt in the latest attack in Cambrils, 70 miles south-west of Barcelona, which saw the Jihadis’ car overturn before they were gunned down by armed police. Three members of Antifa were arrested Wednesday night after they tangled with Chicago police outside of a courthouse on the city´s northwest side. The "protesters" were clad all in black with black bandanas covering their faces. They claimed to be there to demonstrate against a man facing arraignment inside the courtroom, who they said had ties to "white supremacist" and "right wing" groups. But what started out as a run-of-the-mill leftist rally featuring the same, old, tired, scripted chants ("Racist, sexist, anti-gay, Neo-Nazis go away!"), ended in a melee after Chicago police showed up to try to contain the demonstration.
