The fact that there is significant police belief that this act was not malicious but a result of violent protesters having swarmed him is being totally ignored elsewhere in the press.

I believe they´ve decided it was deliberate. Having seen the longer video of it, I have to say, it sure looks like he wasn´t being chased or harassed. The car looks in good condition too, so you can´t blame it on antifas swarming the car -- as they do.

Thanks to this guy and the white supremacists who hijacked the Lee statue issue, antifas finally have their example of racists they can stick on the right.

I don´t see the issue of southern heritage recovering from weekend. Soros has gotten his money´s worth.

He was surrounded by racist idiots threatening violence.
His car was hit by rocks.
What would you do?
Hand over your wallet, get out of the car and assume a fetal position while they kick your head in?
I have had the misfortune of getting trapped in one of these mob actions in Berkeley CA. Luckily I was not in a car and am a large man who has worked in construction all my life.
Do not give in to violent reprobates.
If they do this to you defend yourself in any way you can, just as that man did.

At his swearing-in as the nation’s top law enforcement official in February, Attorney General Jeff Sessions picked up a thread that had run throughout Donald Trump’s campaign for president: America is experiencing an alarming crime wave. “We have a crime problem,” Sessions said. “I wish the rise that we are seeing in crime in America today were some sort of aberration or a blip. My best judgment, having been involved in criminal law enforcement for many years, is that this is a dangerous, permanent trend that places the health and safety of the American people at risk.” Preliminary analysis

Ronald Reagan would “not kick the dreamers out of the US” if he were president today, according to his eldest son. “He would find a way to work with Congress and lead,” Michael Reagan tweeted Tuesday following the Trump administration’s announcement that it plans to do away with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, over the next six months. The 40th president’s only adopted child appears to support the idea of putting Congress on the hot seat and letting them make the decision about what to do with the 800,000 illegal immigrants

CNN executives explicitly told their investigative team to stop looking into potential ties between the Trump administration and Russia following a series of high profile reporting errors led that to the resignation of three journalists in June. Executives transferred all reporting duties associated with the Trump-Russia narrative to CNN’s Washington, D.C. team in the wake of a retracted June report, members of the CNN staff told The New York Times. The report in question was removed from CNN’s website after the network admitted it could not stand by information that tied then Trump advisor Anthony Scaramucci to a Russian investment bank

They claim to have found a footprint in Crete that could change the narrative of early human evolution, suggesting that our ancestors were in modern Europe far earlier than we ever thought. The accepted story of the human lineage has been largely set since researchers found fossils of our early ancestors in South and East Africa, in the middle of the 20th century.
