North Korean Crisis a Product of
Failed Pre-Trump Leadership

LifeZette, by Conrad Black

Original Article

The incompetence, gullibility and lassitude of three successive administrations have dumped the horrible problem of North Korea into the lap of President Donald Trump. The shilly-shallying and pretend-resolutions that marked the old way of dealing with Pyongyang have come to a dead end. The crisis exposes the infirmity of the Clinton, George W. Bush, and Obama administrations in their North Korea policies. But it goes back even earlier. It is now clear that, while his insubordination was unacceptable, General Douglas MacArthur was correct in advocating disposing of North Korea when we could have done so. The resulting loss of life would

South Korea just elected the liberals that brought you the Sunshine appeasement policy and 6-Party talks of the Clinton era. The foreign minister of these leftists was Ban-ki Moon who went on to be the anti-American Secretary-General of the United Nations. We cannot fight this on our own. Better concentrate on the 50 Billion dollar surplus our bilateral trade agreement gifts to South Korea every single year. We do not have dependable allies in Asia. Even Japan does not want a bilateral trade agreement with the United States because they are doing so well out of our pockets.

Our role as the boy with his finger in the dyke (can I say that?)(I hate how words get corrupted) while those we protect throw mud balls at us has gone on far too long. Our position seems out of balance. Clearly we are if those whom we stand post to protect take advantage of us as we do. We need bilateral agreements not only in trade but in how we partner in defense against evil. I trust in President Trump to come more closely in achieving America´s interests on all fronts in dealing with the world.

The evil Demenemedia see this as a demon-sent open opportunity to impeach President Trump no matter the outcome, with the additional delicious possibility of costing heavy casualties of their much despised deplorables in America.

No doubt they fear that somehow, like the fall of the USSR, their much beloved communist despotic regime could be wiped out, leaving them only the muslim plague´s success to pray for.

On July 20, Capt. Brett DeVries of the Michigan Air National Guard was forced to land his A-10 Warthog with the landing gear up and no canopy after the aircraft´s gun malfunctioned, wreaking havoc on systems across the entire plane. The belly landing took place at the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center in northern Michigan. DeVries, an A-10 pilot with the 107th Fighter Squadron stationed at Selfridge Air National Guard Base just north of Detroit, was able to safely exit the aircraft after the emergency landing, and no injuries resulted from the incident. What a horrible thing to see on national television a man have his ethnicity called into question because he happens to subscribe to a different political viewpoint than others. This kind of thing isn’t American. It is an example of the kind of group-think tyranny that every single totalitarian monstrosity throughout human history was built upon. Donald Trump had more black Americans vote for him than either Mitt Romney or John McCain and yet this CNN panel appears to suggest all those people are not “authentic” members of the black community. It is a dangerously narrow step between this and shipping people

The short shelf life of Charlottesville surprised me. On Sunday, I advised readers to hang in there, but I am pleased that the attempt to associate all Trump supporters with a crazy driver from Ohio failed quicker than I thought. This is another sign that the media has no power, and the Democratic Party has no plan. Well, no power where it counts, and no plan that will work. (map) The media wants to keep this dead-end story alive, just as it wants to keep the Russian nothingburger going. Reporters are demanding the president visit Charlottesville.

President Trump has offered the job to Hicks and she has accepted the position, according to a White House insider. As I watched President Trump’s initial reaction to the violence in Charlottesville from Bedminster, New Jersey, I felt proud of our nation’s new leader. At 3:36 p.m. on Saturday, he appeared for a press conference and after thanking our nation’s veterans, he addressed “the terrible events unfolding in Charlottesville, Virginia.” His opening line, I thought at the time, was perfectly phrased: “We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence on many sides, on many sides. It’s been going on a long time in our country….” With “hatred” and “bigotry,” the president made it clear he
