CNN senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta unleashed a series of tweets throughout the day on Saturday blaming President Trump for the white supremacists rally and subsequently deadly violence in Charlottesville, Virginia. “These are the consequences of sanitizing white supremacists who seek to be rebranded as part of American ‘right.’ They are peddling hatred,” Acosta complained in his first tweet. Acosta made no attempt to look at his own employer or the rest of the news media in the mirror for the amount of free publicity they’ve given neo-Nazis over the last few years, but that would require a level-headed kind
Now the mayor is blaming Trump as well. I am sick of this. Whose fault were the recent Berkeley riots? What about Baltimore two years ago. What about all the violence against POTUS supporters. We´ve got to MAGA and stop this leftoid nonsense.
If you want to place the blame on these events, it should rest on news organizations like CNN who encourage the weak minded to get out and protest because the coverage of the ensuing riot brings in revenue for the media.
The elites of the northeast migrate to northern Virrginia and destroyed the culture as they have CA Oregan Washington CO and now heading for TX the elites leave a path of destruction The Govenor even lost his auto idea The Governor leads the pack you reap what you sow elites
The removal of Confederate statues is a deliberate provocation by the Left. They want this type of reaction to further their goals of destroying America. To turn one AMerican against another. It will never stop. Eventually George Washington will pay the price. He was a slave owner. He fought to create a country in which rich slave owners didn´t have to pay the English king his share of the profits. So a city and state will have to be renamed and we will get a new face on the one dollar bill. And the world´s largest phallic symbol will be renamed the Clinton Memorial. Can´t comment on Acosta´s remarks because I NEVER watch CNN.
Well Jim, I´d say eight years of Revrum Wright´s “God-Damn America”-hating, Taqiyah Sunrise-Drinking, Purple-Lipped, Jug-Eared, Momjeans-Wearing, Shame Gland Missing, Peace-Prize Stealing, Lying, Denying, America-Hating, Jihadi-Loving, Deserter-Honoring, Communist-Organizing, Wire-Tapping, Benghazi Bullshitting, Marxist, Muzlim, Mallard (disguised as a Black man), along with the he rise of the Left, their “Victimization” of America and their attacks on the Common man calling us Racists, Homophobes, iSlamophobes, Fascists, Dangerous, Deniers, Depolorables, Misogynists, Sexists, Domestic Terrorists and who knows what else while watching them fabricate story after story has a LOT more to do with it than the bullshit you come up with! Hell the Left has even invented new terms that never existed before! Didja know they’re now up to 51 genders now? Gee Wally, maybe we should just call them the Heinz generation! All simply to to entrap someone and create a situation! The Left deliberately creates Chaos because they revel in Chaos!
The blame belongs on the fascists that directly caused the situation. The guy was trapped in his car with them all around taunting him. Rocks were thrown striking his vehicle. Was he to wait and see what they had in mind? Or do what any rational person would and place his life as more valuable than that of those assaulting him?
Of course idiot Acosta would think this is Trump´s fault, because Trump had the audacity to not only take on her Royal Thighness, Queen Hillary, but to also beat her. Today´s violence is the direct result of the Left´s persistent attempt to overturn the results of the 2016 election and to whitewash history by trying to erase Confederates from the history books. You can only attack one side so many times before the attacked have had enough of it and turn on the attackers. The Snowflakes ill-advised decision to take on the more extreme elements of The Right who came out to protest in Charlottesville was a recipe for disaster. Shame someone had to die, but it was inevitable, and the Left, embodied by morons like Acosta, only has itself to blame.
No Jim, liberalism and "PC historical revisionism" is what´s to blame here.
Let´s try this on for size, you lead the ´righteous fight´ to have Martin Luther King, Jr.´s ´raw´ FBI file released to the public... something that has been refused even 50 years after his death. What was it in that file the leftists want to remain buried??
If it´s "OK" to let MLK´s history to remain, then why not the VERY REAL history of the "War Between the States" over "States´ Rights???" It was NEVER about slavery, it was about secession from the Union, something your leftist fiends in California want to do right now... should we go to war against them too?
When that incident turned violent the police should have moved in immediately and arrested the rioters. That should have been done right away as there were not that many people who were acting out violently. If there is any political blame it is with the local and state politicians and police who allowed the incident to get out of control. This had nothing to do with President Trump no matter what the liberal Democrat grandstanding politicians claim.
No, it is the opposite, of course. Acosta and his leftist haters, so self-righteous and obnoxious, insisting that anything "white" must be disrespected, whether current or historic.
Go to Hades, Acosta.
These people really are trying their best to divide the country and cause violence. These paid "antifa" fascist thugs come with helmets, clubs, pepper spray and worse, intent on beating and intimidating anyone who they disagree with.
That causes a backlash. I am not defending running people down, but you can get away with your thuggery with no backlash for only so long, leftists.
It takes two to tango. Those groups came to Charlottesville to fight each other, no doubt about that. Obviously the local politicians and the police chief did not have an effective plan and were not ready to arrest those rioters, no matter what side they were on, once things got violent. That´s really unbelievable because last night the city tried to stop the demonstration and were overruled by a federal judge, so the city and state had to know that there a good prospect that violence would occur.
The grandstanding liberal progressive Democrats and some RINO´s are nitpicking President Trump´s after the fact statement on the incident attempting to put the blame on Trump. While in Chicago every weekend upwards on 25 people are shot in black violence and you never hear a peep out of those politicians.
This is the kind of death the Enemedia was fervently hoping for during the campaign, so they could pin death and violence on Trump as they tried to orchestrate Altamont type situations where "innocent victims" on the Left were murdered by Trumpian barbarians. We all know the Enemedia wanted this, it just came too far after the inauguration for them to score points.
I´m so sick of this arrogant, blustering, stupid excuse for a "journalist". Why is the White House putting up with this leftist gasbag is beyond me. He should´ve been shut down and gotten rid of a long time ago. However there he sits with an audacity that knows no bounds. I did not hear a peep from this person or his pathetic network in giving Obama any blame for the various racial riots that took place on his so-called watch. Jim Acosta and his ilk will continue to reap what they´ve sown and it won´t be pretty.
An explosion on a Tube train at the height of rush hour today sent a ´wall´ of fire through the carriage injuring at least 20 people in a suspected terror attack. Terrified commuters ´ran for their lives´ and were seen covered in blood with scorched faces and and hair after the incident at Parsons Green station in west London at 8.20am. Photographs from the District Line train show what experts believe is a ´pretty unsophisticated´ bomb in a flaming white bucket inside a Lidl freezer bag with wire protruding out of the top. Scotland Yard sources have said that it
Melania Trump put on an incredibly glamorous display as she joined her husband President Donald Trump in hosting a black-tie dinner at the White House. The 47-year-old looked a world away from the incredibly casual figure she had cut earlier in the day when she visited hurricane-hit areas of Florida, when she opted to wear jeans, a baggy shirt and $50 Converse sneakers, donning an $8,000 Monique Lhuillier gown for the White House Historical Association dinner and reception. Standing alongside her husband as he took to the stage to welcome guests to the decadent evening event, Melania was the picture
President Trump signed a resolution into law that condemns the violence that occurred in Charlottesville, Va., last month and urges the president and his Cabinet to exert all available resources to address the threat of white supremacist and neo-Nazi groups. "As Americans, we condemn the recent violence in Charlottesville and oppose hatred, bigotry, and racism in all forms," Trump said in an accompanying statement. "No matter the color of our skin or our ethnic heritage, we all live under the same laws, we all salute the same great flag, and we are all made by the same almighty God. We
As President Trump is castigated by some conservatives over his negotiations with congressional Democrats on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, the president has at least one supporter on the far-right: former Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio. On Thursday, Arpaio, who last month received a presidential pardon from Trump, said he supports the president on whatever he chooses to do on the Obama Administration program that shields from deportation nearly 800,000 young immigrants brought to the U.S. illegally as children. “Whatever final policy he supports, I’ll also support. He’s very intelligent. He cuts deals,” Arpaio, speaking by telephone from his home
Huma Abedin’s mother helped to water down a speech then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave at a Saudi women’s college, warning not to mention “political” terms like “freedom” and “driving for women,” new emails show. Abedin’s mother, Saleha Abedin, is a sociology lecturer at Dar Al Hekma, a women’s college in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where Clinton spoke to students on Feb. 16, 2010. And according to new emails obtained by conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch as part of their Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, a Clinton speechwriter for the event sought advice and guidance from Abedin’s mother in advance. “Talk
The White House has been privately urging the State Department to speed up its protracted process for releasing Hillary Clinton’s still-undisclosed emails. A person close to the discussions said State may shift gears and speed up its responses to Freedom of Information Act lawsuits. The pressure from the White House may be working. On Thursday, the State Department released a batch of Clinton-related emails that show how she honored requests from Clinton Foundation and campaign donors to pull some strings. The department turned over to Judicial Watch, a government watchdog group, 1,617 pages of documents, including 97 email exchanges not
A Canadian doctor appearing on Sen. Bernie Sanders´s (I., Vt.) podcast highlighted the year-long wait times in a healthcare system similar to the one that Sanders supports. Dr. Danielle Martin appeared on Sanders´s podcast, the Bernie Sanders Show, to discuss the Canadian single-payer health care system. Sanders´s Medicare-for-all bill, which went to the floor of the Senate Wednesday with fifteen Democratic co-sponsors, is intended to create a similar system in the United States. Sanders brought up some misgivings Americans may have about living under a healthcare system similar to Canada´s. "There is concern about waiting time, for example," Sanders noted.
CIA Director Mike Pompeo has canceled a planned talk at the Harvard Kennedy School after the Ivy League school hired Chelsea Manning as a visiting fellow. According to NBC News, Pompeo sent a letter to Harvard informing them he was canceling his speech over Harvard’s hiring of Manning, who he called a “traitor.” “Ms. Manning stands against everything the brave men and women I serve alongside stand for,” Pompeo wrote. “Let me be clear, this has nothing to do with Ms. Manning’s identity as a transgender person. It has everything to do with her identity as a traitor to the
Bill Clinton defended Hillary Clinton´s new book What Happened saying that those who did read it have enjoyed it. "They don´t have to buy it," Clinton told TIME while addressing those who have criticized Clinton´s new book. "The people that have read it liked it," he added. What Happened chronicles Clinton´s loss in the 2016 presidential election. The book is already at the top of Amazon´s best-seller list, though there are some bad reviews.
ESPN is taking heat from one of its own employees, with former New York Giants cornerback taking issue with the fact that he was asked to avoid any talk of politics when he joined the network in the wake of the recent Jemele Hill controversy. ´I, as a fan and a viewer, tune into ESPN and I don´t want politics,´ said Sehorn on Wednesday morning during an appearance on Fox & Friends. ´And I don´t want to look at a person and have to think politics. So, I understood when they asked me to curtail some of my political aspirations.´
The campus of the University of California, Berkeley, and the area around it, looks like it’s bracing for a military siege. Six buildings have been shut down and put off limits, large concrete blocks have been placed in roadways, police are enforcing a huge perimeter around one of the buildings and the school’s administrative staff will leave two hours early. It’s all for Thursday evening’s speech by conservative Ben Shapiro – or rather for the possibility left-wing activists may use violence and vandalism to stop the speech, something that they have done before. Local police are working with the university’s
North Korea has fired yet another missile. Reports say sirens went off across parts of Japan. (Photos/Tweets) Fox News reports: North Korea has reportedly fired a missile eastward from Pyongyang, Yonhap News Agency reported Thursday. The Japanese government said a ballistic missile launched from North Korea has flown over Japan and landed in the Pacific Ocean, according to NHK. Residents of Japan are being asked to avoid anything that could possibly be missile debris. The reported missile launch comes three days after the United Nations Security Council unanimously approved new sanctions against North Korea. Ahead of the vote, North Korea
Hillary Clinton told CNN on Wednesday that it is time to abolish the Electoral College, part of a sweeping interview where the former Democratic nominee sought to explain why she lost the 2016 election. Clinton, in the interview with CNN´s Anderson Cooper, displayed her animus for fired FBI Director James Comey, reflected on her love for the people -- namely former President Bill Clinton -- who helped her get through the crushing loss and blasted the arcane election body that she believes helped Donald Trump win the presidency. "I think it needs to be eliminated," Clinton said of the Electoral
President Donald Trump on Thursday squashed earlier reports that he agreed to protect so-called “Dreamers” during a dinner meeting with two top Democrats, and said “massive border security would have to be agreed to in exchange for consent.” Trump’s Twitter post was in response to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., who said in a statement that Trump agreed to protect Dreamers and agreed to terms on border security -- "excluding the wall." Trump tweeted, "The WALL, which is already under construction in the form of new renovation of old and
Melania Trump appears to have sworn off the high heels that got her labeled out of touch and disrespectful when she donned them to visit hurricane victims. The first lady, 47, wore black and beige Chanel flats as she flew from Washington, DC to Fort Myers, Florida with her husband this morning to meet with citizens impacted by Hurricane Irma. Last month, she caused an uproar when she donned high heels while to visit areas struck by Hurricane Harvey in Texas—but wore similar shoes on a follow-up trip to the disaster-struck state earlier this month. Hillary Clinton’s “What Happened” reads like a therapy session in which the losing presidential candidate works through the five stages of grief in real time. There’s plenty of anger, oodles of denial, bouts of depression, some desperate bargaining and finally a modicum of acceptance. But not before she’s thrown everyone from President Obama to Bernie Sanders under the bus for her loss to Donald Trump. Among her many laments? “I don’t think the press did their job,” as she tells Vox’s Ezra Klein. Expanding on that, she told him the press obsessed over Trump because she was talking policy while he was “good
During an interview with Vox on Tuesday, former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton argued that without FBI Director James Comey, she could have picked up a point or two more among white women and that Comey allowed husbands and boyfriends to tell their wives and girlfriends that Clinton would end up in jail. Clinton began by saying that white voters have been leaving the Democratic Party since Lyndon Johnson predicted they would. She added that gender isn’t “the motivating factor that race was for President Obama.” Clinton then cited research that Sheryl Sandberg discussed with her about women become less likeable the
ESPN has come under fire after "SportsCenter" host Jemele Hill tweeted that President Donald Trump is a "white supremacist" who is "unfit and unqualified" to be commander-in-chief. (Tweets) ESPN´s public relations department later tweeted a statement, saying that Hill´s comments do not represent the position of the network. ESPN took no action against Hill for her comments, however, which has led to criticism. (Tweet) Controversial free agent NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick tweeted a message of support to Hill, saying "we are with you." (Tweet) Kaepernick made national headlines last NFL season by kneeling during the pre-game national anthem to protest
The John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University has named convicted felon and transgender activist Chelsea Manning as a visiting fellow at its Institute of Politics for the 2017-18 academic year. Harvard´s announcement of its incoming class of visiting fellows at the Institute of Politics celebrates Manning´s inclusion as the program´s "first transgender fellow." The Kennedy School describes Manning in its press release as "a Washington, D.C. based network security expert and former U.S. Army intelligence analyst." "She speaks on the social, technological, and economic ramifications of Artificial Intelligence through her op-ed columns for the Guardian and the
NEW YORK — Hillary Clinton was so frustrated about the infamous scandal surrounding her use of a private email server that she was “tempted” to construct voodoo dolls in the images of “certain members” of the news media and Congress, and then “stick them full of pins.” So Clinton wrote in her 494-page new memoir, What Happened, which was released today. In the book, Clinton complained that the “attacks” against her use of the private email server “were untrue or wildly overstated, and motivated by partisan politics.” She revealed her voodoo doll temptation: It was a dumb mistake. But an even dumber “scandal.” It
Hillary Clinton seemed to add Benghazi to her already-long list of culprits to blame for her upset loss to Donald Trump last November, on the heels of the five-year anniversary of the terror attack. In her first live interview since the election timed with the release of her new memoir “What Happened,” Clinton on Wednesday brought up the controversy over the Benghazi terror attack in response to a question about her likability. Clinton said she was unfairly criticized, even suggesting the incident was no different than past tragedies dating back to the Reagan administration. “Take the Benghazi tragedy—you know, I have one of
Failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton demonstrated on Wednesday one of the ways she dealt with her shocking loss to President Trump in the aftermath of the 2016 election while promoting her new campaign memoir. "Seems like you´ve been doing a lot of yoga?" CNN´s Anderson Cooper asked during an interview organized as part of Clinton´s What Happened book tour. "Yes, I have," Clinton responded. "And alternate nostril breathing." Cooper then asked Clinton to show him what the coping mechanism entailed. "I would highly recommend it," Clinton started. "You are supposed to shut your eyes -- I don´t want to
The White House hailed a "constructive working dinner" Wednesday night between President Trump and top Democratic congressional leaders, who claimed afterward they agreed to exclude the border wall from a deal on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. Trump and administration officials met with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., the latest in a series of overtures from the president to the other side of the aisle. A White House official told reporters afterward the "topics included tax reform, border security, DACA, infrastructure and trade." But Pelosi and Schumer focused on DACA,
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s campaign memoir includes a questionable interpretation of the central lesson of George Orwell’s novel “1984,” namely that individuals should trust those in positions of authority. Clinton’s memoir “What Happened,” released Tuesday, suggests the goal of the government-sanctioned torture featured prominently in Orwell’s novel is to erode trust in the authoritarian overlords who control all aspects of society. This perspective is diametrically opposed to the central lesson most readers have drawn from the book since it was published in 1949. “Attempting to define reality is a core feature of authoritarianism. This is what the Soviets
