Multiple people were reported injured after a vehicle drove through a crowd of counter-protesters Saturday after police put a stop to a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va. According to reports from the scene, counter-protesters were celebrating driving the white supremacists from Emancipation Park, which was supposed to be the site of the main rally. A silver vehicle drove through a crowd, and multiple people were severely injured. Video shows counter-protesters walking down a crowded street around some cars that are attempting to drive through but are stopped by the crowd. A silver vehicle comes up at a much higher
Home grown terrorism, just like the left wing anarchist that rioted on the campus of UC Berkeley to prevent free speech. By the way I noticed a lot of the so-called counter protesters in Charlottesville were armed with sticks, wearing helmets, with their faces covered.
On the news earlier it was reported the KKK had a rally there a few weeks ago with no problems. Now there are riots, what changed? Bused in Soros anti American liberals that´s what. Don´t blame it on the white Americans until you know all the facts
one of these days.. an AMERICAN will be driving his mother to the hospital after she has a heart attack.. he will get stuck in one of these "protests", blocking him from getting to the hospital.. he has EVERY right to run over as MANY of the sorosites as is necessary to get his mom to the hospital.. and vice versa, for that matter.. a sorosite driving HIS mom to the hospital has every right to run over anyone blocking traffic in the same scenario.. (most likely it would be OTHER sorosites, though)
Even FNC (Bandares especially) is trying to paint Antifas counter-protesters as innocent victims. They are as much (if not more) part of the problem as the Klansmen. With the ongoing "war on white men" continuing, did no one expect a reaction? (And remember, the Crusades were a reaction to the Muslim assault on White European culture. That should have sent a historical message to the global non-white majority.)
That said: this kind of violence is counter-productive. Our protests must be kept peaceful, despite the rage boiling within. Country first, people; country first.
We do not want to throw this political baby out with the bathwater. This greatest nation that history has yet seen, this culmination of the best of Western culture, this Republic - if we can keep it, this flag that so many have sacrificed and died for, is too precious for us not to restrain our darker tendencies.
It is not only worth our "lives, fortunes, and sacred honor": it is also worth our self-control. Remember that liberty is for the virtuous. Time for all of us to display whatever virtue we may have left after decades of assault.
There´s a lot of disinformation being thrown around. It´s so hard to wait for confirmations and there are so many rumors.
What disgusts me is the GOP pols who are calling on Trump to condemn the Nazi protestors (may they all have rashes and boils for being racists and hijacking what should be an edifying conversation about pulling down statues and attacking culture) for the violence when it doesn´t take a rocket scientist to know the antifa counter protestors actually started the violence.
This is why Trump has to ride the line. He´s condemning the mission statement of the racists who protested (again -- legally) but he can´t condemn them for this violence because it isn´t clear that they were actually violent at all.
The left (and apparently GOP pols) want the white supremacists to shoulder the blame and give antifa a pass just because the ws are despicable. Sorry, you can´t physically attack people just because their views make you sick.
A ZeroHedge commenter on their version of the story has linked a blog which tracked down the person who belongs to the car´s number plate. It appears to be a college sophomore whose Facebook page shows hate for Trump, support for open borders, and confession of drug use.
Russia’s ambassador to Sudan, Mirgayas Shirinskiy, was found dead in his swimming pool Wednesday — the fourth Russian envoy to die in just eight months. Police found him at his home in home in the country’s capital, Khartoum, officials said. Doctors came immediately, but were not able to save him, according to Russian state media. Shirinskiy, 62, had high blood pressure, and authorities believe he died of natural causes, police told Reuters. Three other Russian emissaries have died in since December. Russian ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov was assassinated in December, during a speech at an art gallery, by a
The pace of new government regulations has plunged in President Donald Trump’s first seven months in office, a welcome relief to businesses and banks that have long pushed for less interference in the economy. In the first half of 2017, the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs has processed some 67 regulatory actions, ranging from notices to final rules. During the first six months of former President Barack Obama’s first term, the department coursed through three times as many, processing 216 regulatory actions. New regulations spiked even more under former Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton. The Office of
HOUSTON, Texas — Heavy rains and flooding are predicted for the coastal regions of Texas as the once and future Tropical Storm Harvey approaches. Currently, Harvey is expected to re-organize Wednesday. Forecasters call for a potential of more than a foot of rain for the Texas coastal region stretching from Port Lavaca to Houston. The heavy rains are expected to cause localized flash flooding and extended rainfall if the storm stalls, according to forecasts from the National Hurricane Center. Depending on intensity, Harvey could also create coastal flooding with a tidal surge pushed forward by heavy winds. (Photo) Officials with
MSNBC guest Donny Deutsch read out a definition of the word "sociopath" on Nicolle Wallace´s "Deadline: White House" Wednesday to describe President Donald Trump. "It dawned on me. You can´t analyze this anymore, and I did some homework. And there´s nothing good about this. I need about 40 seconds," Deutsch said. "How to determine if someone is a sociopath. It´s a condition that prohibits people from adapting to ethical and behavioral standards or community," Deutsch began. Then, Deutsch began reading characteristics of sociopaths that he seemed to have printed out beforehand. "Sociopaths are usually extremely charming and charismatic. Sociopaths oftentimes feel
In recent days, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has publicly supported the removal of Confederate statues around the U.S. As it turns out, the Pelosi family wasn’t always against the statues. On Monday, Ron Meyer of Red Alert Politics dropped a little truth bomb on Fox News viewers, revealing Nancy Pelosi’s father helped dedicate Confederate statues to Robert E. Lee and ‘Stonewall’ Jackson. Will Pelosi disavow? (Photo/Video/Tweet) Red Alert Politics reports: Ron Meyer, Editor of Red Alert Politics, responded this morning on a debate for Fox and Friends First: “Those statues are right where Nancy Pelosi left them when she
Who is the young man arrested for allegedly attempting to plant explosives at a Confederate statute in Houston, Texas, on Saturday? (Photo) Law enforcement officials came into contact with Andrew Cecil Earhart Schneck as he crouched behind bushes in Houston’s Hermann Park near the statue of Confederate General Richard Dowling about 11 p.m. Saturday. A park ranger noticed Schneck carrying a bottle containing an unknown liquid. Schneck attempted to drink the liquid explosives but spit it out, according to a statement from the U.S. Department of Justice, Southern District of Texas. A criminal complaint revealed more details about the park
Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper questioned President Trump’s fitness for office Tuesday night after listening to the president’s speech in Arizona. “I really question his ability to be … his fitness to be … in this office, and I also am beginning to wonder about his motivation for it,” Mr. Clapper said on CNN. Mr. Clapper said the president’s speech was “scary” and “disturbing.” In the speech, Mr. Trump defended his remarks about Charlottesville, Virginia, when he said last week there was blame on both sides. He also singled out Sen. John McCain, Arizona Republican, for his crucial
Hillary Clinton refers to Donald Trump as a "creep" and says her "skin crawled" during one of their debates in an except from her upcoming 2016 election memoir What Happened. In their town hall-style debate on Oct. 9 where the candidates were allowed to walk around the stage, Trump at various points walked behind Clinton as she spoke. MSNBC aired her narration of that section of the book Tuesday morning, where Clinton recounted her thoughts that she was "incredibly uncomfortable." "This is not ok, I thought," she wrote. "It was the second presidential debate, and Donald Trump was looming behind
Throughout President Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday, MSNBC’s The Last Word would break away from the live video in order to do on-the-fly commentary, which often included attacking the President on what he was saying. Towards the end of the of the 10 o’clock hour, host Lawrence O’Donnell left the Trump rally behind to really give his stacked liberal panel a good go at Trump and his supporters. O’Donnell began by going to Jennifer Rubin to hype possible GOP primary opponents Trump could possibly face. “Oh yeah, I think if he lasts that long, I think there
President Trump opened his speech to supporters in Phoenix by slamming the media again for its coverage of his reaction to the Charlottesville protests and said his followers are united in "love" for others. "You always understood what Washington, D.C., did not. Our movement is a movement built on love. It is love for his fellow citizens who have been left behind, love for every American child who deserves a chance to have all of their dreams come true," Trump told attendees Tuesday night. "What happened in Charlottesville strikes at the core of America. And tonight, this entire arena stands
The Bikers for Trump announced they will defend Trump supporters from violent leftists and Antifa terrorists at President Trump’s rally tonight in Phoenix, Arizona. (Video) The Bikers for Trump made the announcement on Facebook this week. (Snip) This is Antifa— For over a year at nearly every event NOT sponsored by Leftist Democrat and Black Lives Matter groups, the Police have stepped aside and allowed horrendous acts of criminal violence against event participants while rarely arresting anyone committing these heinous acts. These violent groups, like Fascist Antifa, are now inciting murder at these events. Who is allowing this to happen?
Leading anti-Trump activists backed by major Democratic donors including George Soros are mobilizing large numbers of protesters ahead of President Trump’s rally in Phoenix on Tuesday, with the intention of stealing the spotlight from the president’s event. Local leaders of Indivisible, one of many “resistance” protest groups formed as a direct response to Trump’s election, are organizing thousands of protesters associated with a coalition of left-wing groups ahead of Tuesday’s event. In addition to organizing mass protests outside the rally, Indivisible is encouraging protesters to register for tickets for the rally itself, increasing the likelihood that protesters will disrupt Trump’s
Two members of the Kennedy family were arrested for disorderly conduct near the family’s famed compound on Cape Cod, according to police. Max Kennedy, the 52-year-old son of Robert F. Kennedy, was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and a noise violation around 1 a.m. Sunday morning after reports of loud partying, Barnstable Police told the Boston Herald. His daughter Caroline, a 22-year-old California resident, was also arrested at a home a short walk from the main Kennedy compound. (Snip) The arrests come after a brush with the law for another of RFK’s grandchildren, Conor Kennedy, who
In her most detailed public comments about what happened during the second presidential debate, Hillary Clinton said her “skin crawled” as Donald Trump loomed behind her on the stage in St. Louis in October. The comments are included in her new book, “What Happened,” which she called an attempt to “pull back the curtain” on her losing bid for the presidency. Some of the moments during the campaign, she said, “baffled” her. The book comes out Sept. 12, but audio excerpts, read by Clinton herself, were played on MSNBC on Wednesday morning. In the recording, Clinton noted that she wrote
Black Lives Matter activist Chanelle Helm released a list of “requests” to white people in the wake of the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, this month. Helm, the so-called “cofounder and core organizer of Black Lives Matter Louisville,” explained in an article published at Leoweekly.com the things she says need to “change.” “White people, if you don’t have any descendants, will your property to a black or brown family. Preferably one that lives in generational poverty,” Helm writes in an article titled “White people, here are 10 requests from a Black Lives Matter leader.” White people are asked, “Give up the
I’ve been on the Barron Trump train from the start, but it’s about time the president’s son starts dressing the part. Barron is the youngest son of Donald Trump and the only child the president shares with Melania Trump. Time and time again Barron has proved that he’s just a normal 11-year-old kid, despite the fact that his dad is the President of the United States and he lives in the White House. One thing that isn’t normal though is the way he dresses when he joins his parents for a public appearance. Barron was returning to the White House from New
Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are among a set of White House aides pushing President Trump to allow illegal immigrants brought to the U.S. as children to stay, in an effort to get Democrats to fund the president´s border wall. McClatchy reported that the group of White House officials have suggested using so-called ´Dreamers´ as a bargaining chip, in order to check off some of the president´s campaign promises on immigration, including the wall, additional detention facilities, an E-verify system for employers and cuts to legal immigration. However, such a move would break another campaign promise, as candidate Donald Trump had pledged
Thanks to Monday´s solar eclipse, disastrous traffic jams have been taking over the country these last few days. And as folks leave the first coast-to-coast solar eclipse since 1918, the U.S. Department of Transportation estimated that nearly two-thirds of the nation´s resident live withing a day´s drive of the path of totality. And with Oregon being the first to see the eclipse, it and neighboring state Washington are experiencing the worst bouts of the traffic jams. ´This is the biggest transportation event that has ever hit Oregon,´ Dave Thompson, a spokesman for the Oregon Department of Transportation told AP. If money talks, George and Amal Clooney made it shout Tuesday, by donating $1 million to the Southern Poverty Law Center to help fight hate groups in the wake of tragedy and violence in Charlottesville, Va. The SPLC, a leading civil-rights group that monitors hate groups and campaigns against bigotry, is partnering with the Clooney Foundation for Justice to increase its ability to combat hate groups in the USA by highlighting the dangers of white-supremacist ideology.
As the face of CNN, Anderson Cooper makes a very good living as wealthy, privileged white man casting judgments of affiliation upon his political enemies. This includes taking a handful of idiotic white supremacists and declaring they represent millions of Republicans/conservatives, pro-America, Trump supporters, etc. And yet Mr. Cooper himself has a much closer affiliation to slavery than he likely wants his leftist viewers to know. As a descendant of the Vanderbilt family, one of the wealthiest “old money” families in American history, Cooper is a direct descendant of big time slave owners. Cooper’s great-great grandfather, Cornelius Vanderbilt, owned several plantations,
The relationship between President Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is so fractured the pair haven’t spoken in weeks, a new report said Tuesday. And McConnell has privately said he doesn’t know if Trump can even salvage his presidency, The New York Times reported. The feud has only deepened since the Senate was unable to repeal Obamacare, and the president’s incendiary comments after the unrest in Charlottesville only made things worse, the paper reported. The rift, marked by Trump’s repeated attacks on the majority leader on Twitter and an angry phone call between the two that deteriorated into cursing, comes at
President Trump’s “America First” base was the biggest loser of Trump’s speech on Afghanistan Monday night, and many quickly expressed their disappointment at the business-as-usual address from the president who had once promised to limit American intervention abroad and focus on nation-building at home. Trump’s speech, in which he pledged to increase the number of troops in the 16-year-war, was the first since the departure of Chief Strategist Steve Bannon and confirmed the fears of many on the right that without a strong nationalist voice in the West Wing, the President would revert to the same old fare that Americans had
Students at Howard University, a top-rated historically black college in Washington D.C., took to social media to express their anger over a group of white high school girls wearing pro-Trump clothing who visited the campus on Saturday. Some tweets referring to their visit also suggested the white high school girls should be beaten up. One of the high school guests, in a social media post of her own, said they were simply visiting the school’s cafeteria to get food as part of a larger tour of the nation’s capital, and faced a barrage of insults and aggressive acts, including having
ROCKLIN, Calif. — The Rocklin Academy school board is facing tough questions from parents concerned over a controversial incident involving transgender discussions inside a kindergarten class, CBS Sacramento reports. "These parents feel betrayed by the school district that they were not notified," said Karen England with the Capitol Resource Institute. (Snip) "The kindergartners came home very confused, about whether or not you can pick your gender, whether or not they really were a boy or a girl," said England. Parents say besides the books, the student at some point during class also changed clothes and was revealed as her true
