Trump ‘fire and fury’ is justified;
America won’t back down in the
face of bullies like North Korea

Washington Times, by Cheryl K. Chumley

The hand-wringers were out in full force this past week, moaning and wailing about President Donald Trump’s rhetoric regarding North Korea. But why? We are America. We don’t bow down; we don’t quiver in fear. That the left, the weak-kneed and the RINOs have filled a week of media coverage with rants and dire pronouncements about the supposed dark effect of Trump’s bold message to the regime only shows how far down the progressive path Barack Obama managed to push the nation — how far away from the Founding Father we’ve strayed. America is the nation that thrives against-all-odds, the country of the come-from-

This Kabuki is looking more and more like a "good" WWE wrestling match:

* Lots of bravado beforehand
* "Physical" capability and muscularity
* Genuine athleticism or talent
* Appearance of violence and danger
* Audience apprehension
* Careful choreography and skill to implement it
* Risk of someone getting really hurt if the script is not strictly followed

USA-NKorea missile conflict has reached "back it up" or "back down" finality. NKorea must back down from its rhetoric about firing missiles towards Guam or back up their leader´s threat with the launch--with certainty of US military reactions ordered by President Trump.

Either way, Trump wins, and the whiny voices of the liberal media, Democrats, and weak-kneed Republicans lose big-time.

Kellyanne Conway, a senior adviser to President Donald Trump, has taken steps to sell her political consulting firm, according to a document released Monday by the federal Office of Government Ethics. Conway received the right to defer capital gains taxes for her sale of the Polling Company/Woman Trend, the documents show. She had valued her 100 percent stake in the firm at between $1 million and $5 million on a personal financial disclosure form that the White House released in March. Federal law allows executive-branch employees to seek such deferrals when they’re required to sell assets in order to comply with conflict-of-interest

Tehran - Iranian lawmakers voted overwhelmingly on Sunday to increase the country’s budget for its ballistic missile program and foreign operations by the Revolutionary Guards, a direct challenge to new United States sanctions against the Islamic republic. Some lawmakers shouted “Death to America” after the outlines of the bill “to counter America’s terrorist and adventurist actions” were passed by an overwhelming number of votes in Parliament, state television reported. The increase in the military budget and other measures came in retaliation to legislation passed by Congress and reluctantly signed by

North Korea’s Missile Success Is Linked
to Ukrainian Plant, Investigators Say
New York Times, by William J. Broad & David E. Sanger    Original Article

North Korea’s success in testing an intercontinental ballistic missile that appears able to reach the United States was made possible by black-market purchases of powerful rocket engines probably from a Ukrainian factory with historical ties to Russia’s missile program, according to an expert analysis being published Monday and classified assessments by American intelligence agencies. The studies may solve the mystery of how North Korea began succeeding so suddenly after a string of fiery missile failures, some of which may have been caused by American sabotage of its supply chains and cyberattacks on its launches.

China is to stop importing coal, iron ore, seafood and other goods from North Korea in a matter of weeks, as it brings its operations in line with sanctions imposed by the United Nations following the development of Kim Jong-un’s nuclear and missile programmes. China is North Korea’s main trading partner but it last week supported the UN Security Council ban. The Chinese customs agency has said it will stop processing imports of coal, iron and lead ores, and seafood from the country at midnight on 5 September. Any cargo already on its way to China will be cleared as usual by customs ahead of the sanction .

Big Ben will fall silent for four years starting Monday Aug. 21 to allow for renovation works to take place on Parliament’s bell, clock and tower, the symbol of London. The 13.7-ton bell in the Elizabeth Tower must stop ringing to ensure the safety of workers on the restoration project, the House of Commons said on Monday in an emailed statement. It chimes every 15 minutes and has rung out largely uninterrupted for 157 years. The last stoppage for maintenance was in 2007, and refurbishment works previously silenced the bell from 1983 to 1985. It was also muted for former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher’s funeral in 2013.

Ms. McCaskill is perhaps the most vulnerable Democrat in the Senate heading into next year, where she will try to defend her seat in Missouri, a state that’s tilted heavily toward Republicans in recent years. The National Republican Senatorial Committee has been showering Ms. McCaskill with criticism for months, accusing her of joining fellow Democrats in obstructing President Trump’s agenda.

Virginia State Police have charged 47-year-old Robert K. Litzenberger, of Charlottesville, with misdemeanor assault and battery. Because the press conference was cut short, Kessler posted a video on Twitter explaining his point of view. (Tweet/Video)

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — White House officials, under siege over President Trump’s reluctance to condemn white supremacists for the weekend’s bloody rallies in Charlottesville, Va., tried to clarify his comments on Sunday, as critics in both parties intensified demands that he adopt a stronger, more unifying message. A statement on Sunday — issued more than 36 hours after the protests began — condemned “white supremacists” for the violence that led to one death. It came in an email sent to reporters in the president’s traveling press pool, and was attributed to an unnamed representative. It was not attributed directly to Mr.
