FBI raided Manafort home

Washington-FBI agents raided a home of President Donald Trump´s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort last month, a source familiar with the matter told CNN. The agents seized materials in Manafort´s home as part of the ongoing Russia investigation led by Justice Department Special Counsel Robert Mueller, the source said. "FBI agents executed a search warrant at one of Mr. Manafort´s residences. Mr. Manafort has consistently cooperated with law enforcement and other serious inquiries and did so on this occasion as well," Jason Maloni, a spokesman for Manafort, told CNN. He declined to provide further details. The so-called no-knock warrant, which was first reported

The FBI seems to really shine as the premier law enforcement agency.. on Republicans! On Democrats, not so much......
The FBI like most Washington 3-letter agencies are now an arm of the Democratic Party or the Left in general.

I don’t read CNN if I can help it, but posted an article from ZeroHedge that the documents they seized were the same ones Manafort GAVE to the Senate Intelligence Committee a while back, and he’d have voluntarily given them to Mueller as well.

So why the drama?

Just stay calm and let all of this play out. The book of Psalms essentially says over and over, "If you set a trap, you will fall in it." Let the left have their fun. It will not end well for them.

"Late breaking news" -- give me a break.

This happened over two weeks ago!

This is pure, 100% media hype. They draw this stuff out as long as possible, trying for enough hysteria by endless repetition, day after day, dribbling out bits and pieces, to get folks to say, "Well, that has been in the news for weeks, must be really something going on there"

The exact opposite of how they cover Dems.
One story, two paragraphs, page 6 of section B and never again mention it, including if it was an axe murder in broad daylight by some prominent Dem.

This is a total nothingburger, really a twist on Fake News --- Delayed News?

If it isn´t new how can it be "news"?

Look at the source and don´t waste your time and the bandwidgth - EVER.

They area a propaganda outlet, pure and simple. Don´t be a sucker.

This is absolutely disgusting. Mueller is operating in a Watergate mindset. He doesn´t understand that tens of millions of Americans are appalled by what he´s doing. No matter how the press spins this, many Americans are not going to be cheering on what is obviously a biased and non-merited political witch hunt. We are revolted watching the immense power of our laws and our government agencies and departments being misused for political ends.

I disagree with poster #11...the kabuki theatre wants us to think there is some "guilt" there somewhere, and if they can´t find it, they will create it!

If we had an honest FBI and an impartial "special counsel" one could take poster #11´s comment at face value. Unfortunately, we do not!

0bambi weaponized every department of our government to go after his enemies, the conservatives, the people who actually believe in the Constitution.
On his way out, he tried to embed as many operatives as possible, in all levels of government so they can´t be found and removed.

The actions of the FBI/Comey, the Deep State, Mueller--in hiring only DemonRAT donors and venue shopping--all point to a dishonest witch hunt, one that will try to take down Trump´s administration by any means necessary and if that is not possible, then ruin the reputations of as many of the people around Trump/in the administration as they can.

Chances are that anything illegal that Manafort perpetrated relating to Russia or Ukraine was accomplished long before he ever commenced working as a campaign manager for then candidate Trump that lasted only for a short period of time.

Manafort must be a prime target of the Special Prosecutor as he used a warrant to search Manafort´s residence pre dawn. You can really only do that once in the hopes of finding incriminating evidence, as any other persons who suspect that they may be targets of the Special Prosecutor, unless they are complete morons, will never be found with incriminating evidence in their residences.

On July 18, 2015, about a month into his long-shot campaign for president, Donald Trump famously attacked John McCain. "He´s not a war hero," he said. "He was a war hero because he was captured. There´s a whiff of Weimar in the air. During the years of the Weimar Republic (1919-33), Germany was threatened by Communist revolutionaries and Nazi uprisings. Foreign Minister Walter Rathenau was assassinated, and violent street fighting was commonplace. Then Adolf Hitler took power in 1933. America is nowhere near that point. But many surely agree with The American Interest´s Jason Willick, who wrote Sunday that "this latest round of deadly political violence has" him "more afraid for" the United States than he has "ever been before." The attempt to find systemic police bias has come to this: the difference between an officer saying “uh” and saying “that, that’s.” According to Stanford University researchers, police officers in Oakland, California, use one of those verbal tics more often with white drivers and the other more often with black drivers. If you can guess which tic conveys “respect” and which “disrespect,” you may have a career ahead of you in the exploding field of bias psychology. Now for a few words about the Confederate statues contretemps in various states. 1. I wonder how many of the counter-protesters at the Charlottesville event even had any idea who Robert E. Lee was. He was a major hero of the Mexican-American War. He fought for the Confederacy against the Union, but at the time he did it, it was not illegal. Slavery was — while 100 percent evil — completely protected by law as of 1861. When Lee went to work to defend his native Virginia, he was not violating any law. In fact, at no time did the
