Breaking: President Trump pressured Fox News

President Donald Trump is being accused of knowingly and actively trying to spread false news about the murder of DNC employee Seth Rich in a new lawsuit. Rod Wheeler filed a complaint on Tuesday in the Southern District of New York against Fox News, Malia Zimmerman and Ed Butowsky claiming that they worked together to create a false narrative surrounding the death of Rich. Also contributing to the creation of that fake news story was President Trump according to court documents, which claim that the Commander-in-Chief wanted the story to include multiple fake quotes which were attributed to Wheeler. Wheeler is a former

So what if he did? It´s a first amendment right to speak your mind and opine.

Regardless - the story is still true and this lawsuit is the real lie and fake news.

It should be rejected with extreme prejudice.

From a May 2017 article:

WASHINGTON - EDITOR´S NOTE (5/17/17): We want to update you on a story you first saw on FOX 5 DC. We want to make an important clarification on claims that were made by Rod Wheeler, the private investigator hired by Seth Rich´s family, whose services are being paid for by a third party.

What he told FOX 5 DC on camera Monday regarding Seth Rich´s murder investigation is in clear contrast to what he has said over the last 48 hours. Rod Wheeler has since backtracked.

In an interview Monday, Wheeler told FOX 5 DC he had sources at the FBI confirming there was evidence of communication between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks. This is the verbatim of that exchange:

FOX 5 DC: “You have sources at the FBI saying that there is information...”

WHEELER: "For sure..."

FOX 5 DC: “...that could link Seth Rich to WikiLeaks?"

WHEELER: "Absolutely. Yeah. That´s confirmed."

In the past 48 hours, Rod Wheeler has told other media outlets he did not get his information from FBI sources, contradicting what he told us on Monday.

http://www.fox5dc.com/news/local-news/254852337-story

Sounds as though Wheeler was playing fast and loose during one of his star turns on Fox and got sideways with invoking the FBI to beef up his claim.

One more time:

The Daily Mail is a tabloid. They deal in outrageous clickbait headlines with lots of caps and lots of photos, which they buy from AP, Getty and others. Most of their articles are pastiches - put-togethers, unattributed - of articles from American sources.

When it comes to veracity the Enquirer runs rings around the Mail.

Trump questioned why more attention wasn´t being given to the Seth Rich assassination, and rightly so. That is hardly "pressure". Wikileaks was insinuating that Seth was one of it´s informants. Nothing stolen, just a murdered DNC employee. I found it more than a little disturbing how little attention was paid to his death. Apparently President Trump did too.

On Wheeler,

The family of slain Democratic staffer Seth Rich is threatening legal action against a private investigator after his "outrageous behavior" has given fuel to right-wing conspiracy theories about the unsolved murder of their son.

An attorney representing the family of Rich, who was 27 when he was killed last July, sent a cease and desist letter Friday to Rod Wheeler, a Fox News contributor and former Washington, D.C., homicide detective who was employed by the family and earlier this week told a Fox affiliate that he believed police were covering up details about the crime.

Excuse additional post, but there is a lot of information out there in the archives and this is important.

Wheeler ended up getting that cease and desist letter from the Richards family for, among other things, making “false statements”. He then recanted what he’d told Fox, saying they had “put word in my mouth”. A read of the transcript tells us otherwise. He took a simple question from the Fox interviewer and ran with it, embellished it.

https://www.buzzfeed.com/claudiakoerner/the-private-detective-who-ignited-a-clinton-conspiracy?utm_term=.xoVVWXPGAe#.vtdpemRg27

We saw him numerous times when this was his big story, his big new gig for the Richardses. More than a retired homicide detective, he was now in the middle of a very big story. The Richardses saw through him. One would hope a jury would as well. If it gets that far.

In her most detailed public comments about what happened during the second presidential debate, Hillary Clinton said her “skin crawled” as Donald Trump loomed behind her on the stage in St. Louis in October. The comments are included in her new book, “What Happened,” which she called an attempt to “pull back the curtain” on her losing bid for the presidency. Some of the moments during the campaign, she said, “baffled” her. The book comes out Sept. 12, but audio excerpts, read by Clinton herself, were played on MSNBC on Wednesday morning. SEOUL--Sirens blared out over the South Korean capital at 2 p.m. Wednesday, but no one took much notice. In the center of Seoul, cars stopped — but only because police officers with fluorescent batons made them. Pedestrians outside City Hall went down into the subway, but only because metropolitan officials directed them down there. The increasingly brazen threats coming from North Korea in recent weeks have caused jitters in Washington, but residents of Seoul — who live within artillery range of North Korea — have been pretty much carrying on as usual. “I’ve read the stories in the papers about the

Once upon a time, President Trump was portrayed as a peacemaker. On the campaign trail, he talked up his belated opposition to the Iraq War and suggested he would be willing to negotiate with North Korea. His skepticism of military alliances seemed to tie into a broader policy of isolationism and opposition to regime change. As Maureen Dowd put it in a now-notorious column, the election was “Donald the Dove” versus “Hillary the Hawk.” Seven months into Trump´s presidency, that fairy tale has crumbled. This week, Trump announced he will give the Pentagon authority to increase troop levels in Afghanistan

SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea’s state news media released a photograph Wednesday suggesting that the North was working on a more powerful solid-fuel ballistic missile, and said the country’s leader, Kim Jong-un, had ordered the production of more rocket engines and warheads. Unlike liquid-fuel rockets, solid-fuel missiles do not have to be loaded with fuel just before launching, a process that can take up to an hour and make the missile vulnerable to a pre-emptive strike. Such missiles are also easier to transport and hide. Mr. Kim gave his order to bolster the country’s missile arsenal during a visit to the

James Stephen Hogg were each taken down from the campus’ Main Mall in an operation beginning just before midnight and continuing through the early morning, KSAT 12 reported. “Last week, the horrific displays of hatred at the University of Virginia and in Charlottesville shocked and saddened the nation,” University of Texas President Greg Fenves said in a statement. “These events make

The eclipse that occurred over Chicago led thousands to the beaches and streets, where they gasped and cried out as the sun partially disappeared. For WGN meteorologist Tom Skilling, it was an especially awe-inspiring event. The famed meteorologist hugged and high-fived people around him and wept as the eclipse occurred Monday afternoon. "Oh, my word," Skilling said. "Wow. This is amazing. What do you think of this, this?" At another point, he told viewers, "I´ll get my act together, guys." In her most detailed public comments about what happened during the second presidential debate, Hillary Clinton said her “skin crawled” as Donald Trump loomed behind her on the stage in St. Students at Howard University, a top-rated historically black college in Washington D.C., took to social media to express their anger over a group of white high school girls wearing pro-Trump clothing who visited the campus on Saturday. Some tweets referring to their visit also suggested the white high school girls should be beaten up. One of the high school guests, in a social media post of her own, said they were simply visiting the school’s cafeteria to get food as part of a larger tour of the nation’s capital, and faced a barrage of insults and aggressive acts, including having
