Debbie Wasserman Schultz
and the Pakistani IT Scammers

National Review Online, by Andrew C. McCarthy

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 7/31/2017 5:11:45 PM

There’s more than bank fraud going on here. In Washington, it’s never about what they tell you it’s about. So take this to the bank: The case of Imran Awan, Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s mysterious Pakistani IT guy, is not about bank fraud. Yet bank fraud was the stated charge on which Awan was arrested at Dulles Airport this week, just as he was trying to flee the United States for Pakistan, via Qatar. That is the same route taken by Awan’s wife, Hina Alvi, in March, when she suddenly fled the country, with three young daughters she yanked out of

Comments:
This is an excellent article from McCarthy. He states how obviously horrific this is.The Democrats have to be held responsible for being complicit in allowing this to happen. They sure are quiet aren´t they?

Contd. FTA: "As you let all that sink in, consider this: Awan and his family cabal of fraudsters had access for years to the e-mails and other electronic files of members of the House’s Intelligence and Foreign Affairs Committees."

FTA: "In 2016, they wrote a letter to an appropriations subcommittee seeking funding so their staffers could obtain “Top Secret — Sensitive Compartmented Information” clearances. TS/SCI is the highest-level security classification. Awan family members were working for a number of the letter’s signatories. Democratic members, of course, would not make such a request without coordination with leadership."

This is absolutely stunning information. I shudder to think what has been transmitted by those filthy criminals to enemies of this country. If Republicans had done this, as has been endlessly shown, the Democrats would be shrieking and out before every camera. It makes me sick that the Republicans haven´t uttered a word, with the exception of a few. Their responses have been muted at best. Where are Sessions and the DOJ?

I am screaming at my computer right now.
"Why hasn´t Sessions had him placed in leg irons? Why hasn´t he been detained by the FBI, Homeland Security, CIA, mad dog Mattis??? Why the he!! is he out on bail moving his money around from the comfort of his home?"

If there is no swift justice in this case, the rule of law is officially dead in this country. Powerful people do whatever they want, without any consequences. They hire others to do their dirty work, and then they claim the 5th or use "I don´t recall" to get away with it. I´m sick of it!!!!

Rhetorical question, of course as we all know the answer is: because that´s what the Dimmis want.

Oh, well, if he is caught driving with large amounts of Cash, Gentleman Jeff might confiscate it. So there´s that.

The media blackout on this is stunning, but not surprising. Remember bias is not only in how they report, but what they won´t report. And yet, the elitist media just turns up their noses at any reference to bias. How they can honestly live with themselves is beyond me, but I think it is because they believe they are of such superior intellect compared to the rest of us.

Secondly, I believe that not only are they being protected by the media and Dems., but also establishment Republicans. The Swamp.

I don´t think America will ever be allowed to hear the real truth on this treason by the Dems.

Equality under the law does not exist in Washington DC. The Swamp takes care of its own. Of course, the feckless Republicans are silent on this. They will not make an issue of this criminality but certainly have no problem piling on the President and this administration for any imagined or made up allegation.

Forget the media if you want honest reporting on anything vaguely detrimental to the democrats. It won´t happen. The coverage of this apparent scandal with national security implications is proof positive of the bias and protection the left receives as a matter of fact.

You all do know this is as far as it will go. Clarice and Andrew will write about it, be interviewed on talk radio shows, one or two tea party Republicans will say how much they´re "concerned" with furrowed eyebrows, Trump might even tweet something about it but that´s as far as it will go. Any Senate or House investigation will go nowhere and duh, the media-entertainment-education complex will pretzel the story into something that makes Trump the villain.

Sessions? Really? He might be the most honorable man who ever lived according to all the senators who form a ring around him to protect him while he doesn´t do his job. And he may have a great record as a prosecutor. Illegal immigration is down? GREAT! Why? Because a guy is merely enforcing existing law? To me, it´s giving a smiley face for performing minimum standards. Because we paid the last plumber to break all the water and sewer lines and now the new plumber barely provides leaking hot and cold running water with duct tape and the toilets flush most of the time without overflowing? So what? And now the new plumber refuses to put in the plumbing for a much needed second bathroom but everyone says he´s such a great plumber?

Well, at least we can see that the swamp is so much more hugely than we could have ever imagined because over decades and decades we´ve helped make it un-drainable with the bed wetting, Depends wearing GOP.

If these glorified cab drivers were copying data from the congressional network, you can bet that they were selling it or sending it somewhere. Four million bucks is nothing compared to the national security damage. Debbie Whatshername needs to be locked up for this for a long time. It´s become so public now that the dems and the media can´t successfully ignore it much longer. The whole mess describes in agonizing detail just how inept the US Government is - or was, under the leadership of just another foreign opportunist who is still out there trying to undermine us.

An IT guy with 13 years experience may have been worth a decent salary but paying a 20-year-old $160K should have been a red flag bigger than Lake Erie. There is some serious lawbreaking going on here and not only by the Pakistanis.

Aside from all the obvious above remarks, HOW can all this happen with NO one noticing?

This takes incompetence and criminal intent to let this go on. I still have yet to see the answer to this one, but as stated, it was requested by ? to have congressional staffers! to have Top level security clearances! Was it given? WHY? so staffers can continue doing all the work for their bosses? And were these Pakistanis even American Citizens?!! Why would they be given so much inside work for Congress? Are there not any American IT people available?
McCarthy is right.. and there better be some screaming coming out soon from the GOP members on this or we know where this one is going. Quit making Trump do your dirty work, GOP. And this goes for all the other so called right leaning websites and TV. Keep the pressure on with the questions until we get some press on this.

Okay ... sorry for being thick-headed today, but I have questions.

1. Why were members of this lot being paid so much more than other congressional staffers?

2. Why are Democrats worried about this? If they have been cheated, then can they not play the victim card?

3. Are Democrats worried that their secret political sins will come to light? Is that why Democrats are worried, want their computers back, paid these bums so much money?

4. How did these Pakistanis get a pass on so much? Insurance fraud, bankruptcy, etc.? The wife was allowed to leave the country even though she was taking more cash than allowed!

5. What dirt does this Pakistani lot have on Democrats? Republicans?

Heads should be rolling.

There are Pakistani IT scammers all over DC. One successful ploy is to hire someone with a current security clearance, or ability to get one, at a certain agency, then use that person´s clearance to allow the others to get in the building and come on site as "assistants".

The FBI has usually been totally clueless in these cases. My guess is the Pakis are running that scam on the Fibbies all the time......

As James Bond’s nemesis Auric Goldfinger famously observed, “Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence. The third time is enemy action.” On Tuesday evening, three prominent Republicans — Senator John McCain, Senator Marco Rubio, and 2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney — endorsed the left-wing media’s preferred narrative and embraced the masked thugs of Antifa as heroes. McCain and Romney used almost identical language, bending their knees to the media narrative that only two factions were present in Charlottesville during the awful events of last weekend: white supremacist Nazis and “Americans standing up to defy hate and bigotry.”

Mitt Romney fired back at President Trump for saying “both sides” were responsible for violence at a white supremacist rally over the weekend, claiming that the two clashing groups were more “morally different universes.” “No, not the same. One side is racist, bigoted, Nazi. The other opposes racism and bigotry. Morally different universes,” Romney tweeted Tuesday. (Tweet) Romney was responding to Trump’s comments Tuesday that “both sides” were to blame for the violence at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va. on Saturday. Trump drew fire for saying Saturday that "many sides" were to blame for the violence at the

President Trump should have left well enough alone. His Monday denunciation of costumed sheet-wearers and Nazi wanna-bes could have cleared the way for Americans of all stripes to focus their outrage on things that matter more than presidential words. That would be the violence that is infecting our politics and the frightening acceptance of it as the new normal. But Trump’s defiance yesterday is sure to keep the media pot boiling over his rhetoric instead of an ominous reality. Namely, that real protestors don’t carry baseball bats, crowbars and mace. Yet Saturday’s bloody clash in Charlottesville showed that many on

Some House Democrats renewed calls for Congress to impeach President Trump on Tuesday after he resorted to blaming "both sides´ for a violent rally in Charlottesville, Va., this past weekend organized by white nationalist groups. "POTUS is showing signs of erratic behavior and mental instability that place the country in grave danger," said Rep. Jackie Speier, D-Calif., in a tweet Tuesday night. "Time to invoke the 25th Amendment." (Tweet) Rep. Gwen Moore, D-Wis., also called on Republicans to initiate impeachment proceedings against Trump. "As we once again hear Donald J. Evidence is turning up from, of all places, the Southern Poverty Law Center, as well as Breitbart and others, that this character, Jason Kessler, who organized the suspicious and supposed Alt-Right demonstration in Charlottesville, Va. that blew up in everyone´s face, is a cunning lefty holdover from the Occupy Wall Street movement and a former Barack Obama supporter. I smell Soros money, sabotage, and Democrat dirty tricks here. I´ve been suspicious of the nature of the violence at this supposed Alt-Right demonstration since the news first began breaking. It is no secret that radical elements in the Democrat left have

Trump ignited a political firestorm yesterday during an impromptu press conference in which he said there was "blame on both sides" for the tragic events that occurred in Charlottesville over the weekend. Now, the discovery of a craigslist ad posted last Monday, almost a full week before the Charlottesville protests, is raising new questions over whether paid protesters were sourced by a Los Angeles based "public relations firm specializing in innovative events" to serve as agitators in counterprotests. The ad was posted by a company called "Crowds on Demand" and offered $25 per hour to "actors and photographers"

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has weighed in on the weekend´s violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, castigating Donald Trump without naming him. ´We can have no tolerance for an ideology of racial hatred. There are no good neo-nazis,´ McConnell said in a statement. The choice of words, while careful, appeared to push back against Trump´s claim on Tuesday that some ´very fine people´ were among a crowd of white supremacists who rallied in the college town. McConnell´s wife, Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, stood next to Trump on Tuesday as he insisted both sides of the weekend´s clash bore some responsibility for

Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina warned President Trump on Wednesday that his “words are dividing Americans, not healing them” in the wake of the bloody clashes in Virginia that has sparked a national conversation about white supremacists and race. Mr. Graham also vowed that Republicans will “fight back against the idea that the party of Lincoln has a welcome mat out for the David Dukes of the world.” “Through his statements yesterday, President Trump took a step backward by again suggesting there is moral equivalency between the white supremacist neo-Nazis and KKK members who attended the Charlottesville rally and people like
