McCain’s Revenge
American Spectator, by Ross Kaminsky

Original Article

Senator John McCain waited two years to get his revenge against Donald Trump for saying that McCain is not a war hero. But with a giant middle finger — or more precisely a thumb — McCain, perhaps assuming that he’ll never run for election again, showed Donald Trump that repealing and replacing Obamacare would not be the “so easy” venture that the great “deal-maker” promised. I understand that these two men don’t like each other. I understand that revenge is a dish best served cold. But by looking to hurt President Trump — which I have no doubt was one motivation

I thin he was going for Trumps eye but blinded the Republic. Congress has guaranteed we won´t fix it and the Republicans have taken ownership of the debacle.

Our next battle will be to prevent the nationalization of health care.

So he put personal political revenge ahead of the good of the Nation. Thank you, Senator McCain, for that fine example of mature, adult behaviour. Not to mention upholding your oath, both as a Senator and as an Officer in the U.S. Navy. As a Veteran and a Citizen, I am disgusted, sir!

I grow weary of McCain´s "heroism" - his luck (and flying ability) ran out and he got himself shot down - after that he became a survivor. Heroism is throwing yourself on a grenade or charging a machine nest to save your troops. Surviving? Not so much.

Ross expects President Trump to be superhuman. The Press, Hollyweird, Academia, Demonrats, and the Establishment Republicans with their good friends in the Deep State are all out to destroy the potus. Expecting him to fight on his own is unreasonable, per the last paragraphs of the article.

We the People need to keep pressuring the GOPe to do the right thing for the people of this country. They and McCain are so evil and corrupt that it is shocking. The sane citizens of this country are in a Throw the Bums Out mood now more than ever.

I saw on the news last night about what a maverick John McCain is and I really think the definition needs to be revisited.

Obamacare was thrust onto the American people in the dark of the night on Christmas Eve. It is a sham and I don´t think a lot of people understand it.

If you are laid off from your job and think Obamacare is an option, guess again. You can only apply for Obamacare if you are employed. Government should be responsible and accountable. Obamacare is not. Neither is John McCain.

In 2008, two weeks before the election, John McCain closed the local campaign headquarters that I had signed up to volunteer. He was supposed to be challenging the Democrat (Obama) and he folded. He has been doing that ever since.

Trump dissing McPain about his war hero status is just window dressing to keep you from noticing that McPain´s head is so far up his own rear that he can´t detect anything else. The fact that the AZ senator went to Ukraine to stir up a fake war is hidden by news orgs. Also, if Putin DID build a pipeline, McPain would lose some heavy cash. McCain knows the US isn´t even in the top 3 of natural gas producers.

John McCain did a Jane Fonda on Republican voters. Ironic, he will now remembered as a traitor. I certainly feel betrayed that I voted for him for president once upon a time. He really didn’t do his job to try win, he just figured he was due for his next promotion. I would never trust him. Sad to say about a man who prides himself on duty and virtue. Truly sad.

To make a grand entrance on the Senate floor and then to almost gleefully give a thumbs down to a promise he made to his constituents is evidence of what a small man he is. His job is to serve the people and in that regard he is an abject failure. He serves no one but himself.

John McCain has suffered from a carcinoma of the mind for decades now, (might have acquired the carcinogen in Hanoi). It has now metastasized into the physical home of his personality.

The frail old man is blinded by his anger fueled lust for revenge -- very sad, but happens often in the human specie.

I voted for Trump because he was a far better choice than hard-left Clinton and told my friends I would never vote for any liberal or leftist for that matter. Given that, it concerns me how more and more, he is losing his grip on his administration and more and more, Republican members of the Senate are turning away from him. Soon, he can be so politically isolated, becoming ineffective. This, after a little more than six months. How can things get better if Trump can´t turn this around?

He may have been a hero once, by his actions he is known.

Screw him and the GOPe he rode in on.

We don´t need cheap foreign, illegally imported labor, undercutting Americans ability to earn a living legally.

And we certainly don´t need monopolistic health care. Because make no mistake, that´s what "government run" health care is.
Think of all the worst things about the DMV, the IRS and cable companies, multiply by 10 and you might get close to what McCain´s vision of our future should be.
Look at the poor Charlie Gard example from Britain. Democrat run Death Panels (let´s face it Dems are all over government, like cockroaches), those will probably be the best run part, because they´ll believe they´re doing Gaia´s work.
What a piece of work McCain and the GOPe are.

" it won’t be easy selling the American public on the idea that the only answer is to elect more Republicans in 2018."

Exactly. Since the democrats want to drive us over the cliff just a little faster than the republicans do, they are not the answer either. The TEA Party, conservative Americans or flyover country residents, whatever you want to call us, are numerous and strong enough to form a viable third party. I think it´s time. Revolution will not be an easy thing but living like Europeans do is unthinkable. This democracy lite that we are currently under is also unworkable when one person can undermine the entire country. We saw it with one member of the Supreme Court and we just saw it with McCain. The system is seriously flawed.

The REPEAL bill could and should start in the House and can then go to the McVain-less Senate for another vote, and this time the POTUS can have had some time spent in the home States of the obstructionist RINOS visiting with their potential Primary challengers with offers of massive funds for their campaigns. There´s a whiff of Weimar in the air. During the years of the Weimar Republic (1919-33), Germany was threatened by Communist revolutionaries and Nazi uprisings. Foreign Minister Walter Rathenau was assassinated, and violent street fighting was commonplace. Then Adolf Hitler took power in 1933. America is nowhere near that point. Now for a few words about the Confederate statues contretemps in various states. 1. I wonder how many of the counter-protesters at the Charlottesville event even had any idea who Robert E. Lee was. He was a major hero of the Mexican-American War. He fought for the Confederacy against the Union, but at the time he did it, it was not illegal. Slavery was — while 100 percent evil — completely protected by law as of 1861. When Lee went to work to defend his native Virginia, he was not violating any law. In fact, at no time did the

Nearly 800,000 people have taken advantage of this two-year renewable amnesty. The anti-borders folks will be demonstrating in front of the White House at 11:30 this morning to “defend DACA,” even though President Trump chose not to end the program on “day one,” as he’d pledged. In fact, not only have renewals continued since January 20,

An internal civil war is tearing at the fabric of Fox News. The events of the past week have brought the long-simmering conflict closer to the surface. The legitimacy and viability of President Trump are under constant assault in the mainstream media as never before – and that is saying something. Fox News Channel executives, staff, and on air talent are taking sides. The future direction of the right-of-center, fair and balanced Fox News approach to presenting the news may well be in serious doubt. Monday´s solar eclipse is already tying up traffic in areas along the path of totality, or the vein of regions along the US where people can view the full eclipse. Oregonians so far are seeing the brunt of the traffic as revelers have started pouring into central Oregon, clogging roadways and draining gas supplies in rural towns, all in hopes of catching the full splendor of this once in a lifetime celestial event. The nightmare scenario for locals in the state started emerging Wednesday when traffic backed up for 12 miles on US Highway 26 as people began to set

Durham — The new president of Duke University has ordered the removal of a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee after it was vandalized earlier this week. “I took this course of action to protect Duke Chapel, to ensure the vital safety of students and community members who worship there, and above all to express the deep and abiding values of our university,” President Vincent Price said in a statement released Saturday morning. “The removal also presents an opportunity for us to learn and heal,” Price said, adding that the statue will be preserved so students “can study Duke’s complex past

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi issued a statement today declaring her support for the Congress to pass a resolution censuring President Donald Trump for “the repulsiveness” of his “words and actions.” “Every day, the president gives us further evidence of why such a censure is necessary,” said Pelosi. The censure resolution was introduced in the House of Representatives today by Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D.-N.Y.), Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D.-N.J.) and Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D.-Wash.). The resolution immediately gathered 77 co-sponsors, all of whom are Democrats. “The President’s remarks following the violence in Charlottesville over the weekend are a moral outrage,”

I just did something fascinating. I just watched the President’s entire 14-minute impromptu news conference at Trump Tower on Monday that sparked all the latest barrage of anti-Trump screeds from the left media that will criticize him every day, no matter what he does, augmented by the “Never Trump” Republicans and neo-conservatives who will not rest until they can re-conquer the political party they lost because of three terms of two failed Bush presidencies, followed by the two failed Presidential candidacies of Sen. John McCain and of Gov. Mitt Romney. Not the reportage about the conference, but the entire 14 minutes

A House Democrat introduced a resolution on Friday suggesting that President Trump undergo a physical and mental health exam to help determine whether he is fit for office. Rep. Zoe Lofgren’s (D-Calif.) resolution specifically calls on Vice President Pence and Trump’s Cabinet members to “quickly secure the services of medical and psychiatric professionals” to “assist in their deliberations” invoking the 25th Amendment, which outlines presidential removal procedures. It posits that such an examination by doctors would “determine whether the president suffers from mental disorder or other injury that impairs his abilities and prevents him from discharging his Constitutional duties.

(Video) The school teacher and her compatriots engaged in violent clashes against members of the far-right Traditional Worker’s Party, which had a permit to march in the city. The violence between

Federal authorities are investigating whether sensitive data was stolen from congressional offices by several Pakistani-American tech staffers and sold to Pakistani or Russian intelligence, knowledgeable sources say. What started out 16 months ago as a scandal involving the alleged theft of computer equipment from Congress has turned into a national-security investigation involving FBI surveillance of the suspects. Investigators now suspect that sensitive US government data — possibly including classified information — could have been compromised and may have been sold to hostile foreign governments that could use it to blackmail members of Congress or even put their lives at risk.

The chairman and president of the Kennedy Center said they were “grateful for this gesture” after it was announced President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump would not attend the Kennedy Center Honors in December. “The Kennedy Center respects the decision made today by the office of the president of the United States,” chairman David M. Rubenstein and president Deborah F. As the “Russian Collusion” excuse for Hillary’s loss fails for want of evidence (and common sense) as did her “misogyny” claim before it, Hillary’s pal, Governor Terry McAuliffe, obviously thought he had another keen plan to keep his party from utter ruin. Instead, he is more likely to have stirred up a whirlwind, which will sink his party even further in the voters’ eyes. Led by Charlottesville Deputy Mayor Wes Bellamy (a McAuliffe appointee to the local school board now on leave for racist, sexist, homophobic tweets, the city council narrowly approved removing a statue of Robert E. NEW YORK -- A former New York City police officer, whose claims of police corruption in the 1970s were chronicled in an Al Pacino movie, joined dozens of current and former officers Saturday at a rally in support of getting quarterback Colin Kaepernick a job in the NFL. Kaepernick, the former starting quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers, became a controversial figure last year after he refused to stand for the national anthem in what he called a protest against oppression of people of color. He opted out of his contract in March and became a free agent, but so

Ever since Six Flags opened in 1961, the six flags that have flown over Texas have been a staple of the park.No more. As of Friday morning, the five flags other than the United States flag — representing Spain, France, Mexico, the Republic of Texas and the Confederacy — are being left to the history books. The park received criticism following last weekend’s violence in Charlottesville, Va., from TMZ, Fox News and others for flying the Confederate states flag. As a result, Six Flags Over Texas decided to take down all but the U.S. flag.
