The Russia conspiracy theory so beloved by the media and the Democratic Party fell apart this week — though it was easy to miss, amidst the chaos at the White House and the collapse of Congress’s effort to repeal Obamacare. Investor William Browder testified at the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday that Fusion GPS, the firm that had been responsible for creating and pushing the so-called “Russia dossier” against Donald Trump, had been paid by the Russian government to push for the repeal of the human rights sanctions in the Magnitsky Act of 2012. In other words, the Russian government may
FTA: In fact, it turns out that Russia may have been trying to undermine Trump. And it may have done so in collusion with the Democrats. The Wall Street Journal‘s Kimberly Strassel noted Thursday that Fusion GPS has ties to the Democrats — and will not reveal who paid it for the dossier. Strassel asked: “What if it was the Democratic National Committee or Hillary Clinton’s campaign?” The money could have passed through intermediaries, she added.
That means the real story of collusion in the 2016 election could be that Democrats were working with Russia. And that would make sense, given their long history of appeasing the Russians, under both Clinton and Barack Obama.
Neither the DamnCrats nor the media have ever believed there was a Lilliputian´s thimble full of evidence. They are in a desperate search for just a drop of anything to put in that thimble whether truth or lie.
They are frantic in their attempts to keep the lie going at all cost!
Just because this one tiny theory did not pan out it does mean that Mueller and his high-priced band of Hillary supporters/lawyers will not continue to look for other illegal activities. He has just got to be guilty of something... ANYTHING!!
Don´t forget we got Scooter Libby so confused he could not even remember his first name after a while. Even Ken Starr was branded a wife beater and pornographer.
Maybe I haven´t got the time line right, but perhaps here´s what happened.
Fusion GPS, as a Democrat front operation, set up the phony "Hillary dirt" meeting, using their lawyer from Russia on the Magnisky Act repeal to set up a meeting with the Trump team. (Remember, Trump was running a very lean operation, without tons of "staffers" whom these meetings could be dumped upon.)
Well, gosh, golly gee, we got the Trump folks talking to the Russians! Gee, it would be really bad if our intelligence services started running across that stuff. And when Trump (in jest) says he hopes the Russians can find Hillary´s 33,000 emails, oh my gosh!
So, the Obama/Clinton political machine goes to the FISA court -- we gotta listen to this! First time, the judge (who rubber stamps everything) says, cmon, I can´t let this fly. They fix it up and get the court to hokey-dokey everything.
So, this stuff is in the back pocket, just in case. But October runs around and hey, Hillary´s not 50 points ahead! So, the Obama team says "The Russians are doing something to our elections. We don´t know what it is, but gosh, we sure think they could be up to no good. Maybe we´ll find some evidence some day. But we think they´re helping Trump."
Problem. Hillary lost. How´d that happen? There was no way Trump had a "path to 270," much less 306 electoral votes! Hillary and her team knew it couldn´t be the candidate or the wisest political team ever assembled, so it had to be those stinkin´ Russians being nice to Trump and pulling some shenanigans, we still don´t know (or care) what they are, we´re just gonna say it.
And then Susan Rice and Samantha Power realize, hey, we got all this intelligence data. All we gotta do is unmask it and pass it around to all our friends and allies in the Deep State, Obama holdovers who were stuffed into civil service, media whores, etc. Go get Barack to sign this order before he and the family start packing their bags!
Then, they start tossing "unmasked" intelligence reports of Trump team members around like beads and tokens at a New Orleans Mardi Gras parade. They find some phone call between Gen. Flynn, a Trump transition team member and the Ruskie ambassador and think it´s the greatest piece of intelligence since Washington found out Benedict Arnold turned on the Patriots.
#7-9 Excellent! Thank you for the insightful analysis.
I also think the Dhims were building “evidence” that they intended to use after the election to destroy Trump personally and professionally. To break him as an example to any other “outsider” who had the audacity to even think about coming up against them. When Hillary! lost it became their tool to delegitimize Trump and stop the MAGA agenda.
They underestimated President Trump, to his and our advantage. I believe our President is maneuvering the pieces so that our enemies fall into the traps they themselves have laid. Next summer’s midterm is going to be tons of fun!
The Dims never really believed Trump colluded with Putin. This has all been a desperate distraction on their part, so that the actual illegalities, actual corruption and actual collusion - all of which have demonstrably taken place within the Democrat party - should never be investigated or exposed.
The only question remaining is if the Dims will be allowed, like Comey´s corrupt Free Pass for Sir Edmund, to once again get away with their law-breaking.
I´ve said this before several times on this forum but it bears repeating...
To anyone with a functioning brain and an iota of logic it has never made a lick of sense that Putin would want Trump in the WH instead of Illary.
Does anyone believe that from 2009-2013 no one in the Kremlin bothered to hack into an unsecured email address named firstname.lastname@example.org? Does anyone believe that Putin doesn´t have the 33,000 emails that Illary bleachbit while they were under subpoena?
Had Illary won, Putin would have blackmailed her on a minute by minute basis for her entire presidency. She would have awakened each day with the question, "How high, Mr. Putin?" on her lips.
Putin could not have done that to Trump. Why would he try to help Trump win?
I agree that there was every likelihood that Putin wanted Hillary to win, because she came complete with a blackmail treasure chest. And if I understand the timeline correctly, the meeting with Trump Jr. occurred before Trump was the nominee, and when his candidacy was still regarded as an impossibility - everyone was waiting for the Republicans to "shake him off", or for Trump to say "Ha-ha. Just kidding!"
So why would they try to help TRUMP? Just covering all the bases, so they would have something on everyone? Then they would have certainly met with other candidates´ teams too, probably before Trump. And they would have met with Bernie too, whom they had to regard as a useful tool, even if not as blackmail-able as Hillary.
But see, because Trump won (and Hillary needed the excuse) it is ONLY TRUMP´S team whose meetings we are scouring! All the other candidates probably have Russians hiding in the woodpile too, explaining why they aren´t wanting the spotlight to move away from Trump.
AUSTIN, Texas — Sen. Ted Cruz on Sunday said he doesn’t support the latest Obamacare repeal plan, dealing a fresh blow to Republicans’ last-ditch effort to kill Barack Obama’s signature health care law. After seven years of promises to repeal Obamacare, Republicans have six days to pass legislation with a party-line vote. But with Cruz’s opposition, at least five Republicans in the 52-member caucus have signaled that they either won’t vote for or are leaning against supporting the Graham-Cassidy bill. The legislation, authored by Republican Sens. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, would block-grant federal health
With the announcement that John McCain will not be voting in favor of the Graham-Cassidy bill that would repeal major portions of the Affordable Care Act, conservatives raced to Twitter and talk radio phone lines to express their outrage. “Woe is us! John McCain has ‘betrayed’ us again!” Conservatives shout these words into the ether and to those who are paid to listen to (and stir up) their rage. Sadly, conservatives did not take to Twitter or flood the congressional phone lines in support of Graham-Cassidy in the days leading up to McCain’s “betrayal.” It seems that in the policy
Who would have thought that Colin Kaepernick would actually do the nation a great service? He’s been a change agent alright, but not in the way he hoped. His well-documented inadequacies on the field got him benched by the San Francisco 49ers, which led him to pursue a career as a free agent. But it was Kaepernick’s political theatrics that made him toxic to many fans and thus to potential employers. Still, those of us who love America owe him a debt of gratitude. It took Colin Kaepernick to pop the sports bubble. We’ve all watched the bubble inflate for years. Palatial new
The media is already condemning POTUS Trump’s comments even as millions of Americans collectively thank the President for saying what has been on their minds for some time. The nation is tired of spoiled millionaire athletes thinking they can look down upon all those who share an unwavering love of country and support the brave men and women of all colors who fill the ranks of law enforcement. Donald Trump has now made the NFL the focus of the Obama-generated divide in America – a rift between those who respect the traditions of this nation and those who would see
High-ranking figures within the U.S. government were actively working against the Donald Trump campaign for POTUS. This effort took place over several months, including illegal surveillance of private citizens as well as widespread collusion with influential Establishment/Social Media figures. And now the Deep State is trying desperately to cover its tracks. Via The Washington Examiner: Showdown looms over Trump dossier; FBI misses third deadline to turn over subpoenaed documents (Snip)The reason for the delay is simple. The fabricated “Trump dossier” represents a direct link between the anti-Trump factions within the U.S. government, the Hillary Clinton campaign, and the then-Obama White House. Some very
If you read only the Associated Press, you would think that President Trump threw his supporters in Alabama overboard by backing incumbent Senator Luther Strange in the Republican primary. Of course, if you believed the Associated Press last week, you would think that President Trump threw his supporters under the bus by not building the wall.(Snip)First, Trump does not have to worry about Alabama. This is a win-win situation (unless of course, Democrat Doug Jones wins in the actual election on December 12; those are still eggs, not chickens). Trump´s name is not on the ballot. This is a Republican primary. Afterward,
President Trump unloaded on the NFL players who are dissing the flag. This led to a chorus of self-righteous rhapsodies about free speech from people who two days ago were screaming for the firing of Clay Travis for daring to say Boobs on CNN in front of a lady. So what gives? Why did President Trump suddenly attack a bunch of losers (Colin Kaepernick´s career record as an NFL quarterback is 28 wins, 30 losses) who disrespect the flag? Well, why not? What did it cost him? Normal people rolled their eyes when Kaepernick went full Black Panther on the league. Within hours of the
Earlier today multiple power companies and tree clearing organizations were rallying in South Florida to begin the long convoy back home. Our CERT team knew we could not thank them all, there were/are over 60,000 people in the Florida power recovery effort, but we darned sure were going to try and thank as many as possible. ~”The Largest Power Restoration Effort in U.S. History”~ (Snip) At this stage of completion the power and tree crews who came to assist head back to their home state and region. Many of them began that trek home today. There is no way to adequately outline
Ten days after Nick DeKlyen buried his wife, he returned to Georgetown Cemetery in western Michigan to inter the daughter whom his wife had died to save, a tragic coda for a family confronted with a heart-rending decision five months ago when Carrie DeKlyen discovered she had a tumor. She was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer that is seldom cured and has a poor prognosis. With treatment, the median survival rate is between 12 and 18 months, according to the National Institutes of Health. Making a decision that has attracted national attention, DeKlyen, a 37-year-old mother of five, opted
WASHINGTON — Senior American and Russian military leaders met for an unprecedented, face-to-face session somewhere in the Middle East this week to discuss the growing tensions in the competing battles to retake one of the remaining Islamic State strongholds in Syria. Syrian government forces, Russian special forces and U.S.-backed militants are all battling IS around the oil-rich Deir el-Zour province. The talks are aimed at ensuring safety for all the different fighting elements. The meeting, however, also suggests an expanded U.S. and Russian effort to coordinate their efforts, raising questions about how the Pentagon is adhering to an American prohibition against military-to-military
A small earthquake near North Korea´s nuclear test site was probably not man- made, the nuclear proliferation watchdog and a South Korean official said, easing fears Pyongyang had exploded another nuclear bomb just weeks after its last one.Chinese earthquake officials said the magnitude 3.4 quake detected on Saturday was a "suspected explosion" but both the CTBTO, which monitors nuclear tests, and a South Korean meteorological agency official said they believed it was a natural quake. "A key method is to look at the seismic waves or seismic acoustic waves and the latter can be detected in the case of a manmade
The United States has taken the fight to ISIS and other jihadists who have wrought chaos in Syria and Iraq since 2013. In the nine months since Donald Trump took the oath of office, U.S. forces have done a fine job of rolling back ISIS in Iraq. Now the focus is Syria, where for four years civil war has raged between the autocratic, Iranian- and Russian backed Assad regime and a multiplicity of actors, almost all of whom are some species of jihadi. Unlike Barack Obama, whose policy in Syria was some ill-defined brand of regime change, Trump has taken the
Hillary Clinton said on MSNBC Saturday that women who support President Trump are “publicly disrespecting themselves.” (VideoTweet) “When I see women doing that, I think, ‘Why are they publicly disrespecting themselves? Why are they opening the door to have someone say that about them in their workplace, in a community setting? Do they not see the connection there?´” Clinton told MSNBC’s Joy Reid on AM Joy. Clinton commented about the Trump-supporting women after Reid asked her about pro-Trump women wearing shirts with profanities directed at Clinton. The former 2016 presidential candidate added that she thought it was “troubling” to hear about
Sen. John McCain almost certainly just killed TrumpCare — and gave a boost to managed-care stocks such as UnitedHealth (UNH) and Centene (CNC). The Arizona Republican declared that he couldn´t "in good conscience" vote for the Graham-Cassidy plan to repeal ObamaCare and replace it with block grants to states. John McCain?Verified account @SenJohnMcCain I cannot in good conscience vote for Graham-Cassidy. A bill impacting so many lives deserves a bipartisan approach. The news brought a sudden turnaround in managed-care stocks, though much of that was short-lived. Shares of Centene, whose fortunes are more tied to the ObamaCare exchanges and Medicaid
President Donald Trump has called for fans to boycott the NFL if players don´t stop ´disrespecting´ the US by kneeling during the national anthem - as his rant continues to draw backlash from high profile athletes. Trump had earlier denounced the protests by NFL players and rescinded a White House invitation for NBA champion Stephen Curry in a two day rant that targeted top professional athletes and brought swift condemnation from league executives and star players alike on Saturday. Early Sunday morning, Trump continued his Twitter tirade and called for an NFL boycott. ´If NFL fans refuse to go to games until
N.F.L. players and owners, already on edge after critical statements made by President Trump at a rally on Friday night, woke up on game day to another series of tweets from the president, this time calling for football fans to boycott N.F.L. games unless the league fires or suspends players who refuse to stand for the national anthem. (Snip) Steelers Won’t Participate in Anthem The Pittsburgh Steelers team does not plan to emerge from the locker room in Chicago until after the national anthem. “We’re not going to play politics,” Tomlin told CBS. “We’re football players, we’re football coaches. Former First Lady Michelle Obama has spoken about what life was like for her and her family during her eight years in The White House. Her candid comments came during a moderated discussion at a tech conference in Salt Lake City, Utah on Thursday evening. ´It´s like being shot out of a cannon while drinking from a fire hydrant blind,´ she explained as she told of how she got used to her new way of living. ´You have to tell The White House what kind of toilet paper you like. You don´t know where your forks are.´ (Photos) Mrs Obama
Karl Rove, a former senior adviser to President George W. Bush, ripped into President Donald Trump on Sunday for wasting his platform and his time attacking NFL players protesting by kneeling during the national anthem. “The president has two very valuable assets: his time and his voice. This president wastes it when he engages with things like this,” Rove said Sunday during a Fox News panel discussion on Trump´s recent controversial attacks of NFL players who protest for civil rights by taking a knee during the national anthem. Rove added that the president often spends time he ought to be
GQ host Keith Olbermann wants NFL fans to remain seated during the national anthem to protest President Trump. “This is simple: To defend OUR right to protest we as fans/consumers ALSO must not stand during the National Anthem until Trump’s threat ends,” the former MSNBC host wrote on Twitter Saturday afternoon. (Tweet) Trump asserted during a rally on Friday night that players who kneel during the national anthem should be fired. ) The president doubled down on Twitter Saturday morning. “If a player wants the privilege of making millions of dollars in the NFL, or other leagues, he or she should not be
Former Democratic Rep. Donna Edwards (D-Md.) tweeted that she hopes all NFL players kneel during the national anthem on Sunday in response to President Trump´s remarks attacking Colin Kaepernick. Edwards, who left Congress earlier this year, called Trump a "white supremacist who squats in our White House" in her tweet.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell snapped back at “divisive” comments about the league Saturday, hours after President Trump urged team owners to fire players who won’t stand for the national anthem. At a political rally Friday night in Alabama, Trump griped that players who kneel for “The Star Spangled Banner” disrespect the flag and should lose their jobs. (Snip) Goodell issued a statement via Twitter at 9:16 a.m. Saturday: “Divisive comments like these demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL, our great game and all of our players, and a failure to understand the overwhelming force for good our clubs
The recent behavior of a number of spoiled, privileged, ungrateful NFL players is unacceptable to most Americans, NFL fans or not. (snip) It would be so satisfying if a group of patriotic fans to have at the ready a flash mob of singers at a stadium game. If the players "take a knee" to show their disdain for the flag and the national anthem, these talented souls would wait until just before the kick-off and then stand up and belt out the national anthem themselves. Chances are hundreds of those in attendance would join them. Then they would exit the
Giants owners John Mara and Steve Tisch had a harsh reaction to President Trump’s called for NFL owners to fire players who refuse to stand for the national anthem. “Comments like we heard last night from the president are inappropriate, offensive and divisive,” Mara and Tisch said in a statement Saturday. “We are proud of our players, the vast majority of whom use their NFL platform to make a positive difference in our society.” Trump initially addressed the issue during a campaign rally speech in Alabama for Senator Luther Strange, asserting that owners should fire “any son of a b—h”
As more and more leaks about the ongoing “Russian collusion” witch hunt by Robert Mueller appear in print, it seems to me that if Russia had been trying to erode our faith in our institutions, the Deep State is accomplishing what Russia failed to do. The Obama claque’s efforts were initially intended to help Clinton when they thought she would win and no one would know about their crimes. Then they continued the unlawful spying to cover up their role in the worst case of misuse of federal power in our history, to effect the removal or emasculation of the President,
