McCain Shocks Senate by Shooting
Down Obamacare Repeal

WASHINGTON -- The senator who was defeated by President Obama in his 2008 quest for the White House stepped in to cast the deciding vote to kill Senate Republicans´ last-gasp effort to repeal Obama´s signature healthcare legislation before the summer recess. Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) were expected to vote against the "skinny repeal" -- a bare-bones repeal of only the individual and employer mandates as well as the medical device tax; the latter has drawn bipartisan criticism over the years. Vice President Mike Pence was at the Capitol, ready to cast a tie-breaking vote as he had to

Comments:
Leaving our critical medical decisions in the hands of bureaucrats seems to be these RINOs´ intention. To hell with them all. They´re absolutely no good, unworthy of casting one more vote in the Senate. Resignation would be the way to go, but I doubt we´ll be that lucky.

I knew this was the reason McCain came back. He is not our friend on any level. Looking back on all the years I have despised him, I am still shocked he picked Sarah Palin as his running mate. He obviously hates people like her, (and us).

McCain doesn´t have a war record he has a prison record. They should bill him for the five planes he lost. If his vote had been out of conviction it would be acceptable but he just gave the finger to the American people, which makes him no better than Obama.

I´m so ticked at this man. I looked up contact information for each of the 3 Republications who voted against it, and gave them a piece of my mind. For each, I suggested they switch to become a Democrat. I also suggested that John´s voters should be watching him, and will hopefully vote him out. Ugh...Hope the FBI does not knock on my door. I was not threatening.

The real hero´s were the pilots that were talented enough to dodge the SAM missles and AAA fire and return back at base/ship with their aircraft intact.

This is not what hero´s are made of:
"McCain began as a sub-par flier[18] who was at times careless and reckless;[19] during the early to mid-1960s, two of his flight missions crashed and third mission collided with power lines, but he received no major injuries.[19] His aviation skills improved over time,[18] and he was seen as a good pilot, albeit one who tended to "push the envelope" in his flying"

Voting for Obamacare (as McCain just did) won´t keep McCain´s cancer from spreading. It won´t earn McCain an extra jewel in his crown on the other side.

Jesus the Judge is not a Democrat or a Republican. And Jesus is not CNN. This vote earns McCain no popularity in heaven.

Shocked at the vote? Not really. Disgusted? There aren´t words to describe how disgusted I am.

Nothing shocking about it. If he would have voted Yes on it, that would be shocking! His resentments are a mile high over the trashing Trump threw down on him during the primaries. He is, in my view, exhibiting textbook behavior of a real alcoholic. Be drinks and gets drunk every day. We expect nothing less from him because this is what good alcoholics do. It´s all about him. His massive immature ego, his selfish and self centered attitude and ego, and his pay back at any and all costs against those he is sore at. This is why he left the hospital to show up to vote No. It´s ok John. Have another cocktail. CLEARWATER — Pinellas County Circuit Judge Jack St. Arnold on Monday threw out the $458,100 sale of a gulf-front condo because of what he called an "unscrupulous" and "conniving" scheme to trick bidders at a foreclosure auction. His ruling means that the owners of Orlando Realty Group will get back the money they bid on what turned out to be a second mortgage held by a company connected to Clearwater attorney Roy Skelton. Only later did the bidders discover that a different lender had a superior first mortgage and could soon foreclose, leaving them with no condo and out nearly a

WASHINGTON – The firing of a federal employee takes about 18 months on average, given the appeals process, which allows multiple avenues for an employee to register complaints. This was one of the central issues discussed Tuesday at the Heritage Foundation, where members of the conservative think tank outlined the organization’s Blueprint for Reorganization. That plan envisions balancing the budget within seven years by cutting $10 trillion in federal spending through hundreds of recommendations to Congress. Suggestions include the elimination of entire offices like the Federal Housing Administration and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Within minutes of the announcement of the vehicular terror attack in Barcelona, Jim Sciutto and Wolf Blitzer of CNN were opining that the horrifying events in Spain may have been inspired by (i.e. were a copycat of) Charlottesville. The implications of this comparison are not only wrong-headed, they are reactionary and dangerous to the American public and the world. A 9-foot gator killed a woman’s dog in Florida Wednesday afternoon. The alligator came out of a creek in St. Petersburg and attacked the woman’s dog. Alligators attacking pets happens more frequently than some may believe. A few months ago, an “aggressive” gator attacked a dog in Boca Raton. Secret Service Director Randolph "Tex´´ Alles, in an interview with USA TODAY, said more than 1,000 agents have already hit the federally mandated caps for salary and overtime allowances that were meant to last the entire year. The agency has faced a crushing workload since the height of the contentious election season, and it

Ten sailors are missing and five have been reported injured after the USS John S McCain was involved in a collision with a merchant vessel on Monday morning, the Navy has said. The collision between the US guided-missile destroyer and merchant vessel Alnic MC was reported at 5.24am local time. The John McCain was underway east of Singapore and the Strait of Malacca, on its way to a routine port visit in Singapore. It is now sailing under its own power and heading to port, the Navy said. The crew is reportedly fighting flooding in two crew berthings and an area of the ship known as the 'shaft alley'.

A Texas college campus removed four statues of prominent Confederate figures in an overnight sweep, according to reports. The statues of Gen. Robert E. Lee, Gen. Albert Sidney Johnston, Confederate Postmaster General John H. Reagan and former Texas Gov. James Stephen Hogg were each taken down from the campus’ Main Mall in an operation beginning just before midnight and continuing through the early morning, KSAT 12 reported. “Last week, the horrific displays of hatred at the University of Virginia and in Charlottesville shocked and saddened the nation,” University of Texas President Greg Fenves said in a statement. “These events make

The eclipse that occurred over Chicago led thousands to the beaches and streets, where they gasped and cried out as the sun partially disappeared. For WGN meteorologist Tom Skilling, it was an especially awe-inspiring event. The famed meteorologist hugged and high-fived people around him and wept as the eclipse occurred Monday afternoon. "Oh, my word," Skilling said. "Wow. This is amazing. What do you think of this, this?" At another point, he told viewers, "I´ll get my act together, guys." His voice cracking, Skilling apologized for his tears. Skilling´s heartfelt reaction earned him praise from fans:

Thanks to Monday´s solar eclipse, disastrous traffic jams have been taking over the country these last few days. And as folks leave the first coast-to-coast solar eclipse since 1918, the U.S. Department of Transportation estimated that nearly two-thirds of the nation´s resident live withing a day´s drive of the path of totality. And with Oregon being the first to see the eclipse, it and neighboring state Washington are experiencing the worst bouts of the traffic jams. ´This is the biggest transportation event that has ever hit Oregon,´ Dave Thompson, a spokesman for the Oregon Department of Transportation told AP. Trust in the mass media is at an all-time low. Two-thirds of Americans believe the mainstream press publishes fake news. Yes, there’s still much good journalism to be found, if you know where to look. Yet, ask reporters who’ve been around a while, and many will tell you that a lot of good journalism is being left unpublished. Good journalists hate what’s happening to the news. We have only ourselves to blame. Firewalls that once strictly separated news from opinion have been replaced by hopelessly blurred lines. Once-forbidden practices such as editorializing within straight news reports, and the inclusion of opinions as if

Students at Howard University, a top-rated historically black college in Washington D.C., took to social media to express their anger over a group of white high school girls wearing pro-Trump clothing who visited the campus on Saturday. Some tweets referring to their visit also suggested the white high school girls should be beaten up. One of the high school guests, in a social media post of her own, said they were simply visiting the school’s cafeteria to get food as part of a larger tour of the nation’s capital, and faced a barrage of insults and aggressive acts, including having
