New White House Communications Director
Anthony Scaramucci contradicts Trump,
himself in first Sunday TV interviews

New York Daily News, by Jason Silverstein

President Trump’s new message man is already eating his own words. In his Sunday talk shows debut, the newly minted White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci continuously contradicted himself — and others in the Trump administration — as he seemed to struggle with keeping several White House stories straight. In one instance, Scaramucci caved in after one question about a statement he made and revealed his anonymous source in the middle of an interview. The source turned out to be Trump. [snip] Appearing on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Scaramucci argued that there’s “a lot of disinformation” circulating about Russia’s

Maybe it was the 2nd pint of Yuengling or maybe it´s because we can´t expect anything different out of so-called ´news´, but I read that as, ´´appearing on CNN´s ´State of the Unicorn´ ´´ and it really didn´t faze me as out of the norm. Go Scaramucci for the full smack down of these airbrushed-heads!

After watching these same pundits bending over backwards to give Obama and his spokespersons (remember Josh "Earnest"?) every possible pass, the gloating pandering and softballs, for eight long years, I don´t trust any of these news sources or their representatives. Scaramucci is walking into a wolves den of disingenuous leftists who have staffs who devote themselves to coming up with gotcha questions to embarrass any spokesperson for President Trump. The msm has lost all credibility, their entire purpose is to make President Trump look bad, they are showing off for all their press buddies, and the whole lot of them have done nothing but give us bad advice and have led America down ill-advised paths for decades. Our country is 20 trillion dollars in debt, our people are deeply divided and we probably have (at least) 10 million illegal aliens in America, all thanks to the msm. The leaders the media admire are corrupt and dishonest and do not act in America´s best interest. As far as I´m concerned, the msm can GTH.

Martin Shkreli just can’t help himself. The notorious “pharma bro” who was recently convicted on three counts of fraud in connection with hedge funds, was released on $5 million bail, but his behavior since then has led to the Justice Department pushing for him to be locked up ASAP. Earlier this week, Shkreli said in Facebook post (which he has since deleted), “On HRC’s book tour, try to grab a hair from her,” adding “Will pay $5,000 per hair obtained from Hillary Clinton.” He later claimed it was a form of satire, but it was enough for the DOJ to

As Hillary Clinton begins a book tour to promote her 2016 campaign autopsy “What Happened,” video has begun to swirl online of a 2014 interview between her and CNN’s Christiane Amanpour to promote her previous book, “Hard Choices.” During the exchange, Clinton had some tough words for the children of illegal immigrants, including waves of unaccompanied minors coming in 2014 — telling Amanpour that the United States was a nation of laws and that they probably had to go. “We have to send a clear message, just because your child gets across the border, that doesn’t mean the child gets to

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh has taken a ton of heat over the past few days for essentially claiming that the warnings over Hurricane Irma — a massive Category 5 storm heading right for Florida — were related to a broader “deep state” conspiracy to promote climate change, force people to buy bottled water and increase the news media’s ratings. During his radio program yesterday, Limbaugh remained defiant, claiming that media accusations that he was placing people in danger by spreading conspiracy theories were completely untrue. And yet, at the same time, he doubled down on what he previously had said,

Power shift as Trump opens

Suddenly, it seems like Sen. Charles Schumer (N.Y.) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) are driving the agenda in Congress. The deal President Trump struck with the two Democrats over the objection of the majority leaders in his own party has at least temporarily upended the balance of power in Washington, emboldening Democrats who now see space to work with Trump on immigration and spending. It’s a dramatic shift from Trump’s first seven months in office, when the president worked almost exclusively with Republicans and Democrats were largely an afterthought. But

During a Fox News appearance, House Speaker Paul Ryan tried to tone down the drama brewing between Republicans on Capitol Hill and President Donald Trump after his out-of-left-field deal with leading Democrats. “Perfectly reasonable and rational” — those were the words Ryan used to describe a Republican president going across the aisle to endorse a debt limit deal proposed by Democrats, instead of trying to work with members of his own party. The speaker also responded to Fox News’ Martha McCallum‘s question about rumors that he was anger over Trump’s decision, vowing he “wasn’t furious.” For Ryan, this was

All planned deployment of the U.S. missile defense system THAAD to South Korea is complete, 14 months after the United States and South Korea publicly announced the decision in July 2016. The deployment of four additional launchers to Seongju, central South Korea, prompted Chinese state media to issue a strong condemnation that likened THAAD to a "malignant tumor" that was as provocative as "North Korea´s nuclear weapons." South Korean Defense Minister Song Young-moo said Thursday the four launchers were all delivered to the designated site, 40 days after Seoul had agreed to place more missile defense in the area following

On this issue, his actions have been more effective than those of past presidents. So far, the assumption that Trump is bungling or exacerbating the crisis with North Korea isn’t justified. Ever since he came down the escalator at Trump Tower that fateful day in June 2015, President Trump’s critics have worried that his anger-management and impulse-control issues would be exposed in an international crisis. Everything we’ve learned about him tells us that he is temperamentally unsuited to diplomacy or putting forward the image of quiet strength and confidence that is synonymous with traditional ideas about good leadership.

Let us define our terms: What is an Act of War? There are two types of Acts of War: de jure, which means as a matter of law and de facto, which means as a matter of fact. Unless a nation literally announces (de jure) to the world community, as in a declaration of war, that it committed an attack on the personnel and/or territory of another nation it comes down to a matter of fact (de facto) as assumed by the nation being attacked. These are the established facts: since late 2016

It cannot be overstated how eagerly the Democrats want to take back the White House in 2020. The Democrats face many obstacles in this effort, but the greatest threat is the fierce internal divisions within the party. Two of the leading prospective presidential candidates, Sens. Former Vice President Joe Biden has been busy building a national email list to communicate directly with his supporters, and Rep. Keep these numbers in mind: 316 to 90 and 80 to 17. They were the lopsided votes in the House and Senate in support of the deal President Trump made with Democratic leaders on storm aid, the debt limit and government funding. Remarkably, all the no voters were Republicans. The numbers shout that we are witnessing a potential turning point in the Trump presidency, one that could further shake up Washington and rattle the calcified political parties. Frustrated by the failure of GOP majorities in both chambers to pass his agenda, Trump followed through on threats to work with Democrats. Signs suggest it was

Hillary Clinton’s latest book “What Happened” and her ensuing book tour are the latest examples of the former presidential candidate creating fresh tensions within the Democratic Party. What happened is not terribly complicated: Clinton lost the election to Donald Trump and weakened the Democratic Party in the process. In her book, Secretary Clinton blames her loss on the Russians, former FBI Director James Comey and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), among others, yet the only person she does not seem to blame is herself. Clinton continues to take the focus away from the party and

The incident happened about 6:30 a.m. Sept. 3 when the 80-year-old victim got on a city bus near E. 34th St. and First Ave. and sat up front, sources said. The suspect apparently took exception to where he was sitting.
