Is Global Warming Alarmism
a Complete Fraud?

I usually try to give global warming hysterics the benefit of the doubt–sincere but misguided, not good at math, unacquainted with the Earth’s highly variable climatic history, and so on. But sometimes data come along that make that sympathetic attitude hard to sustain. Like this paper by Dr. James P. Wallace III, Dr. Joseph S. D’Aleo, and Dr. Craig D. Idso, which was published last month. Its title is “On the Validity of NOAA, NASA and Hadley CRU Global Average Surface Temperature Data & The Validity of EPA’s CO2 Endangerment Finding.” You should read it all, but one portion that struck

Recently the Daily Caller published an essay about climate alarmists´ routine "adjustment" of climate data to reflect warming (or climate change) that is not happening.

http://dailycaller.com/2017/07/05/exclusive-study-finds-temperature-adjustments-account-for-nearly-all-of-the-warming-in-climate-data/

These dishonest people, who don´t even deserve to be called scientists, seek to squander our wealth. For nothing.

It is a complete fraud the greatest theft in human history, global government/s conspiring to steal from productive Americans to finance their own people’s sloth and politicians power lust.

Almost every single article expressing AGW skepticism includes fluff such as “we know warming is happening and we know man contributes to that” and then moves on to well a little warming might not be a bad thing, and it really isn’t all that significant. Rubbish!

NO! It is pure unadulterated bull-jive. We don’t know if we are entering another ice age or still exiting the last one; we don’t know squat. But we do know that when hard working people create wealth others will want to take it away and professional thieves will offer to do that for them.

The “Climate Change” movement is no more complicated than petty theft.

Thinking back about the origins of this scam, it seems that the first time it was heard of, it came from Europe, and was a ploy to try to hamstring US industry growth. The original targets set up for reductions in CO2 used the East German soft coal ecological horrorshow powerplants, recently joined West Germany, as proposed baseline of CO2 emissions. Unified Germany had replaced all of these high CO2, inefficient soviet designs, they had to do nothing new to meet their future CO2 reductions, and it appeared that the US would be seriously restricted from an economic standpoint by meeting their CO2 reductions. It was a Euro power play, revisited in the Paris Accords, intended to keep the financially struggling socialist paradises in Europe competitive, not by fixing their mess, but by hobbling the USA.

Later, the loser class in academia, those failing and mediocre scientists, many doomed to being dumped from their assistant professorships due to inability to attract funded research, grasping at a new research topic which had two miraculous properties: it was both so important that it must be funded, and the results of any research could stand with no challenge, no matter how wrong or fraudulent, until long after the fraudsters were retired or in their graves.
A new research field, tailor made to attract the losers and frauds of science.

Add in the perversion of the large number of "green" ecopower groups, Sierra Club, Environmental Defense Fund, Wilderness Society, Greenpeace, who had been taken over from genuine hikers and conservationists by extreme leftist zealots, seeking a powerful new way to pry funding from donors in ever increasing quantities to fund their lavish lifestyles and ledtist propaganda machines.

Taken together, three disparate groups finding common cause in the World´s Biggest Scam.

The hockey stick graph that it was all originally based on is a fake as well. The Medieval Warming Period didn´t fit the man-made warming narrative, so it was just not included, in effect agreeable temperature numbers for that period were fabricated and graphed.

It MMGW has been a hoax from day one. All of it. It is the greatest scientific fraud in the history of mankind.

Absolutely it´s a fraud. The Global Warming hysteria is based mainly on the East Anglia Study, which has been debunked as a hoax which fabricated corroborating evidence for global warming while ignoring inconvenient facts. Yet in spite of its debunking, the Left applies the Rather Standard of "fake but accurate" to the East Anglia Study and continues to use it as the basis with which to perpetuate the global warming myth.

My answer to the question is "yes, and maybe not."

There is little question in my mind that leftists have cooked the books on global warming in pursuit of their eternal power grabbing schemes. It does not however follow that embarking on a path of ever increasing CO2 emissions is risk free. The proper way to mitigate the risk, IMHO, is to develop nuclear power and the electrification of transportation where practical.

Yes, the climate is changing. It always has been and always will be. The impact of human activities is minuscule and insignificant compared to the effects of the variabilities of the sun and the inherent geology of the earth. As with all species over time, homo sapiens must adapt or die.

#12, no one, except the leftists, is saying to do nothing, or there is no risk.

The question, is it all man-made as the leftists state/claim.

the actual temperature data didn´t fit their theory/models, so they simply changed the data to fit their theory.

And, have you ever wondered why it´s always 40-60 years in the future when this may all happen?
Ever read a NOAA climate report? filled with old studies, lost of IF´s, May´s and Could´s. Not a lot of WILL´s.

Plus, it´s really about pollution.

Lastly, did you notice the Paris Accord would only reduce the target temperature by 0.17C if 100% of the targets were met, and in 83 years(by 2100)?

Some urgency.

#10, sure. No problem. Credit for Lucianne would be nice. I am not a FB person, never, ever go there.

I have been closely observing this phenomenon for many decades, and have a lifelong friend who has been a research professor at several universities. I have learned from him of the dilemma of the mediocre scientists. Only 10% of grant proposals get funded each year, leaving 90% in the ashes. He has disappeared from the social scene for a couple of months when grant proposal time came around, very hard work to write a good one, he always was funded.
For the 90% losers, after a few years of failed proposals, the pressure mounts from the universities, and from the banks account to get some sort of funded research, or be dropped from the faculty. Few know that direct salary for asst profs is very low, it is expected that they will get funded research and pay themselves out of their grant money. No grant, piddling salary and threats of being fired. Not all have the integrity to resist the siren song of MMGW "research."

As a lifelong backpacker and sometimes mountain climber I used to be a member of Sierra Club, Wilderness Society and more and watched them being subverted from the inside as a member. Of course, I long ago left them.

The Ugly Environmentalist does something similar. He exaggerates the challenge of global warming by using ever more hysterical rhetoric, thinking that if the last doomsday prediction didn’t work, this one will."
