I remember that song.
The Night Chicago Died.
It had to do with the 1871 fire.
At least it was quick.
This is a rotting corpse.

This is so sad. And the "leaders" of the community continue to refuse to address the root causes (generational welfare, the breakup of the nuclear family, high teen pregnancy rate, 74% illegitimacy rate, the worst and most dangerous schools in the country, etc.) Democrats want inner city voting blocks and that´s all that they care about, so they go on inspiring inner city residents to hate police, Republicans, whites...

Old saying:Quality shows.

Yep, and barbarian, feral people will act viciously. The only real solution is to identify the worst and permanently sequester them from the rest of us. Expecting them to suddenly recognize the error of their ways as become model citizens is right there along side the unicorn hunt in waste of time.

Usually the killed to wounded ratio is about five to ten per cent tops.

10 out of 57 is a 17.5% kill ratio.

What happened?

Better guns?
More range time?
Vets joining gangs?
Sights welded on the side of the slide?

What is it about black culture that puts people out in the streets in the middle of the night?
Perhaps if they would go home at a decent hour, they would not be targets.

Things don´t change overnight.

Democrats have only been promising blacks a better life since the LBJ days - not even 55 years ago.

Keep electing democrats - maybe some day they will keep a promise.

I saw a well educated black woman on tv the other day. (can´t remember the name). She said all Obama had done was to keep blacks on welfare and medicaid and foodstamps with cash supplements, not encouraging work or trying to better themselves but to depend on the gov´t. taking care of them.
That they have not gained one thing in 8 years.

“Across Chicago” That’s a deliberate lie. Almost all the shootings are in 3 or 4 hell-hole neighborhoods, all the shooters are black with a few Hispanic, and all the victims are black with a few Hispanic. Almost all of it is gang related, with over 300 street gangs fighting among themselves over drug turf. But the local news deliberately tries to hide all of this.

The lesson to be learned: don’t go into those neighborhoods.

The feral animals will not be stopping this behavior anytime soon so the best thing good people can do is leave the place and let them shoot it out. Maybe there will be enough wall materials left over from the southern wall to build a big circle around Chicago, with no gates. I believe it´s called containing the problem.

CBS "Face The Nation" host John Dickerson expressed doubts Sunday to Rep. Adam Schiff (D., Calif.) over what impact the Russian-linked ads on Facebook had on the election. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced this week the company was turning over more than 3,000 Russia-linked ads to congressional committees that are investigating the extent of the Russian 2016 election interference campaign. Colin Kaepernick and Roger Goodell hate Donald Trump. Whose side are you on? One of the differences between political and gridiron strategy involves picking one’s opponents. In the latter, the schedule dictates; in the former, guile does. The president manipulated some of the most hated people in America to hate him. He chose his enemies wisely. They unwisely fell into his trap. Maybe next time, Trump should call out Skelator, Cobra Commander, or Moriarty. Alas, one judges those villains not dumb enough to get all of their sinister friends to publicly denounce their denouncer the way Kaepernick and Goodell did.

N.F.L. players and owners, already on edge after critical statements made by President Trump at a rally on Friday night, woke up on game day to another series of tweets from the president, this time calling for football fans to boycott N.F.L. games unless the league fires or suspends players who refuse to stand for the national anthem. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell snapped back at “divisive” comments about the league Saturday, hours after President Trump urged team owners to fire players who won’t stand for the national anthem. At a political rally Friday night in Alabama, Trump griped that players who kneel for “The Star Spangled Banner” disrespect the flag and should lose their jobs. (Snip) Goodell issued a statement via Twitter at 9:16 a.m. Saturday: “Divisive comments like these demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL, our great game and all of our players, and a failure to understand the overwhelming force for good our clubs

The Senate’s top Democrat offered praise for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) after he said he would oppose the latest ObamaCare repeal bill, which narrows the chance that Republicans can get the legislation to President Trump’s desk. “John McCain shows the same courage in Congress that he showed when he was a naval aviator,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said an hour after McCain’s statement. “I have assured Senator McCain that as soon as repeal is off the table, we Democrats are intent on resuming the bipartisan process.” McCain is the second Republican, after Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.), to announce

The recent behavior of a number of spoiled, privileged, ungrateful NFL players is unacceptable to most Americans, NFL fans or not. (snip) It would be so satisfying if a group of patriotic fans to have at the ready a flash mob of singers at a stadium game. If the players "take a knee" to show their disdain for the flag and the national anthem, these talented souls would wait until just before the kick-off and then stand up and belt out the national anthem themselves. Chances are hundreds of those in attendance would join them. Then they would exit the

Giants owners John Mara and Steve Tisch had a harsh reaction to President Trump’s called for NFL owners to fire players who refuse to stand for the national anthem. “Comments like we heard last night from the president are inappropriate, offensive and divisive,” Mara and Tisch said in a statement Saturday. “We are proud of our players, the vast majority of whom use their NFL platform to make a positive difference in our society.” Trump initially addressed the issue during a campaign rally speech in Alabama for Senator Luther Strange, asserting that owners should fire “any son of a b—h”
