´The deception is mind-boggling´: Fox
News anchor Shep Smith in blistering
attack on Donald Jr and the Trump
administration´s ´lies´ about Russia

Daily Mail [UK], by Ariel Zilber

Fox News Channel anchor Shepard Smith on Friday assailed the ´mind-boggling deception´ by the Trump administration in explaining its role in the ongoing Russia investigation. In a segment with his network colleague Chris Wallace, Smith was offering commentary about the latest revelations in the unfolding scandal. He did not hold back when he spoke about the revelations that President Donald Trump´s son, Donald Trump Jr, failed to disclose the fact that there were more participants in his June 2016 meeting with a Russian attorney who promised dirt on Hillary Clinton. Rinat Akhmetshin, a Russian-American dual national and former Soviet spy

Comments:
Again I was working in the kitchen and had not changed the channel from FNC when that flaming maniac Shemp came on. He is totally unhinged and is no longer hiding the fact that he hates Trump. His sneering and open contempt for Trump and everyone around him is appalling. I sure don´t remember him so aghast over the lawless, criminal acts of Obama or Clinton.

Contd. Obviously missing from his reportage is any mention of the fact that Obama, Loretta Lynch, Susan Rice, the Democrats, Clinton and Fusion GPS are intricately involved in this sordid mess. He is allegedly supposed to report the news.

Until he is designated as a commentator like Sean Hannity he needs to shut up and report the facts. I can´t stand that despicable little crapweasel. Roger Ailes, who he supposedly was so very fond of, must be spinning in his grave over his reprehensible behavior. The Murdoch sons must be beaming with joy.

And this is why I no longer watch any television news channel. Information on the web is quicker and less tainted by these so-called journalists.
Fox News, I am so done with you. You´re no different than CNN, MSNBC, or any one else.

Shep comes on, the channel changes. I will not watch the piece of garbage, the same as I will not watch MSNBC, CBS, NBC, PBS, ABC.

There is absolutely no point in intentionally listening to Pravda spew lies, and I will not subject myself to it. I despise Shep, and have since his incompetent, foolish, stupid reporting stint at Katrina. Before that he was barely tolerable. He is totally intolerable now.

The evening program that has Meghan McCain as a cohost .... The talk was about all the stuff going on with fusiongps, etc but no one was brave or smart enough to bring the John McCain facts up while Meghan was sitting there which did not sit well with me at all. It looked like they were covering and protecting her. I was especially surprised at Kimberly who usually doesn´t shy away from any topic. So that bunch has me wondering but I don´t wonder about Shamp at all!!!!

I don´t watch this POS at all. I may see a few seconds when I turn my TV on because Fox is my default setting. I gave up on him during Katrina when he acted like the whiny leftwing loon he is by berating a female reporter from another outlet because she had taken his "parking spot". Typical snowflake. Why is he still seen on Fox?

Hey Shemp, take some time off. You used to be at the top of your craft but something happened along the way. It´s Gay Pride Week in San Diego right now. Go do your thing and think about things that are really important. Politics is not your thing. Maybe your buddy Joe The Moaning Schmoe might be there in disguise if he can get away from his ball and chain for a few days. But it´s time to take a break and rethink things. Hatred and resentments are the poison you are taking hoping they die.

some years ago Roger Ailes made Shemp Managing Editor and Director of the Breaking News Division at FNC. That came along with the fancy schmancy news deck. At that point we also began to see a marked difference in Shemp´s attitude and delivery.

And now we barely ever watch FNC any more. some of the early a.m. programming, occasionally Outnumbered. Little else unless there´s BIG NEWS HAPPENING SOMEWHERE!!!!!!

Then we´ll turn off HGTV or DIY and turn on news. Otherwise, meh...

S. Smith is not presenting news and should be classified as a editorialist by his channel.
He is offering either his opinion or the opinion of management who he works for; either way, there is a biased agenda and there are few facts presented. An opinion offered as news is FAKE NEWS.

Shepard (far left) comes on at 12pm Pacific and so does Liz Clayman (left) on FN Business. He should be on MSNBC and she should be on CNBC.

It should be straight news during the day and not left wing opinion. I used to try and turn on FNC while I ate my lunch. It was Shepard that began the hideous Rock ´n Roll News. Rock music playing while he "supposedly" read the news. I hated it.

Fox has decided they are giving up on a "Fair and Balanced" approach. I guess, like the RINOs, they´re looking for a new base. Fine. That was a corporate decision and it worked, I can say they´ve lost me. Fox used to be the one port in the storm. Aside from Bret Baier and a couple others, we are now left with far, far left, far left and left slants as choices for cable news. The opinion shows are different and some are entertaining.

I now get my news on the internet and haven´t looked back since. Also, I don´t have to listen to leftists read it to me.

So many ´journolists´ are going to have egg all over their faces over this deception which is clearly overblown to keep our minds off the corruption of Hitlery Clinton, hoping we will all just forget about the whole rigged game.

Using her office to do business for Clinton, Ind. Influence peddling from mooooslim countries who kill homosexuals while trying to defend it here in the US. Allowing young women and girls to be sold into sexual slavery while purportedly STANDING UP for women?

If that isn´t incongruous with taking tainted, dirty money I don´t know what is.

In the past 12 months I have met easily 1,000 people, exchanged thousands of emails, attended more that 150 meetings lasting at least one hour each, given more than six dozen speeches before audiences of up to 500, held a translated press conference in a foreign country attended by television, radio and print outlets, given media interviews at home and have made and received countless phone calls. That is a lot of detail to remember, and I do not claim to recall it all. But if my senior staff and I had had a meeting with two people and a Russian interpreter pushing purportedly scandalous intel, I would remember it pretty clearly.

And this is why I always skip the 3-4 p.m. Shep News on Fox during the week---the man can´t restrain himself (although he peppers his "straight news" with little slings and arrows, nothing like his blast with Wallace.) The man has no idea what "mind boggling deception" is, obviously. E.G. Lynch on the tarmac, Rice on 4 networks re: Benghazi, Bill not having relations with that women, Miss Lewinsky. None of that bothered ole Shep. I figure Murdoch kept Smith on to retain the fair and balanced mantle......but I don´t have to watch him. I watch Cavuto right afterward. Now THERE is fair and balanced.

Not fair---or helpful-----to comment on Shep´s predilections (and when I said STRAIGHT news I meant straight, not Shep) as that gets us nowhere. I just can´t stand his snide inserts re "straight" news, and to be honest, I haven´t watched Fox News Sunday in years either.........no matter how much soup Mrs. Douglas pushes, her husband too often shows his true face on camera when he thinks nobody is looking---and I don´t want to bother with that. The Murdoch boys, and their strong wives, are making their mark AND DON´T SEEM TO KNOW THEY CAN BE REPLACED. Thank God for Tucker Carlson, Hannity, Cavuto and Martha at 7 p.m. or I would be outta there. Also Outnumbered.

Though a horde of reporters attended the meeting, almost all of the media stories that emerged from it simply repeated the progressive left’s mantra that the commission is a “sham.” Almost no one covered the substantive and very concerning testimony of 10 expert witnesses on the problems that exist in our voter registration and election system. That came as a bit of a surprise, especially since Kylie was photographed at the studio with her sisters on the day the taping took place earlier this year and even posted video of herself on set to Snapchat. A source with knowledge of the production that day tells DailyMail.com that

Special Counsel Robert Mueller´s team is reaching back more than a decade in its investigation of Paul Manafort, a sign of the pressure Mueller is placing on President Donald Trump´s former campaign chairman. The FBI´s warrant for a July search of Manafort´s Alexandria, Virginia, home said the investigation centered on possible crimes committed as far back as January 2006, according to a source briefed on the investigation. The broad time frame is the latest indication that Mueller´s team is going well beyond Russian meddling during the campaign as part of its investigation of Trump campaign associates. Manafort,

Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” while reacting to President Donald Trump’s speech at United Nations, former White House press secretary for the Obama administration Josh Earnest said the overall speech lacked “coherence,” and Trump mocking North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un was “foolish.” Earnest said, “Having sat in the hall of the United Nations where the president of the United States delivers an address for gathered world leaders — that’s something I did for the last three years—what you know world leaders are looking for in that room is a coherent strategy for taking on the biggest challenges around the

Kerry said, "You have to ask yourself: Is America safer because of ´rocket man?" He was referring to Trump´s characterization of Kim. Kerry said that kind of harsh language will make it harder for the United States to engage in diplomacy on

In Federalist No. 68, his pseudonymous essay on “The Mode of Electing the President,” Alexander Hamilton wrote that the Electoral College could shield the United States “from the desire in foreign powers to gain an improper ascendant in our councils.” (Snip) Hamilton and his colleagues never could have envisioned a year like 2016, when an enemy state—Russia—was able to manipulate America’s election process with stunning effectiveness. But it’s clear the national security rationale for the Electoral College is outdated and therefore it should be retired. Simply put, it enables foreign powers to more easily pierce the very shield Hamilton imagined

Climate change poses less of an immediate threat to the planet than previously thought because scientists got their modelling wrong, a new study has found. New research by British scientists reveals the world is being polluted and warming up less quickly than 10-year-old forecasts predicted, giving countries more time to get a grip on their carbon output. (Snip) The discrepancy means nations could continue emitting carbon dioxide at the current rate for another 20 years before the target was breached, instead of the three to five predicted by the previous model. “When you are talking about a budget of 1.5

Hillary Clinton compared herself to Revolutionary War hero Paul Revere on Tuesday, saying that she is “Paula Revere” sounding the alarm on Russian active measures during the 2016 presidential campaign. (Snip) In her interview, Clinton suggested that she has led the push to call out the Russian government and Russian president Vladimir Putin about their involvement in the U.S. election. “I am saying as clearly as I can — I feel like I’m a bit of a, you know, Paula Revere — I’m trying to sound the alarm about this,” Clinton said to a smattering of laughter and applause. Democratic Gov. Jerry Brown of California compared President Donald Trump supporters to prehistoric cave dwellers Monday during a New York climate event. Brown, an outspoken Trump critic, issued an usually harsh derision of Trump supporters after dismissing the president’s rhetoric on climate change science and U.S. policy toward North Korea as “stupid and dangerous and silly.” “They’re both kind of very similar,” Brown said. “You should check out the derivation of ‘Trump-ite’ and ‘troglodyte,’ because they both refer to people who dwell in deep, dark caves.” Brown attended the climate event, which coincided with the U.N. meeting in New York,

U.S. investigators wiretapped President Trump’s campaign chairman Paul Manafort, according to a report by CNN that vindicates the president’s earlier claims, which were mocked as a conspiracy theory. President Trump had tweeted on March 4: “Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my “wires tapped” in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!” (Tweet) Breitbart News editor Joel Pollak had reported the day before Trump’s tweet that the Obama administration “sought, and eventually obtained, authorization to eavesdrop on the Trump campaign: continued monitoring the Trump team even when no evidence of wrongdoing was found.” Trump’s claim,

Hillary Clinton on Monday would not rule out the possibility of challenging the results of the 2016 presidential election, saying it’s clear the Russians influenced the outcome and that the legitimacy of President Trump’s victory could be called into question as congressional and independent probes into Russian involvement move forward. (Snip) “I wouldn’t rule it out,” she said, though she quickly admitted there’s virtually no legal path forward, and that challenging election results at this point would be unprecedented. “There are scholars, academics, who have arguments that it would be [possible], but I don’t think they’re on

President Trump disturbed some in the press after vowing in his United Nations speech to "destroy" North Korea should the country attack the U.S. In his speech, Trump referred to North Korean President Kim Jong Un as "Rocket Man" and said he was on a "suicide mission" in advancing the country´s nuclear weapons development. "The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea," he said. On Twitter, MSNBC host Lawrence O'Donnell said Trump "threatened to commit a war crime" by threatening North Korea.
