Someone complained about Dunkin’ Donuts

It’s safe to say this person will never be the Mayor of Dunkin’ Donuts. When a customer took to the company’s Facebook page Sunday to complain that an employee used a hot cup to insulate an iced coffee, New England die-hards who swear by the practice came out swinging. (Snip) Dunkin’ has been heavily criticized in recent years as more customers and environmental activists have pushed the company to phase out the use of cups made of polystyrene, more commonly known as Styrofoam or foam. Communities like Brookline, Cambridge, and Somerville have banned the use of polystyrene, forcing Dunkin’ to

Comments:
I love Styrofoam. It insulates, is lightweight, and inexpensive. But liberals always need something to feel superior about.

The howling mob never stops. Take McDonald´s for instance. First they used foam containers for their burgers. The mob complained, so McDonalds´s started using cardboard. Then the mob demanded they cook their fries in a different type of oil, McDonald´s capitulated again and used a different type of oil. Then the mob complained about the Happy Meals targeting children, so the burger company started packing apple slices and juice instead of fries and soda´s if the parents asked. Then it was what they paid their workers. Not enough for the mob, it had to be a ´living´ wage and they determined that was $15 an hour. I wonder what the howling mob will demand next? You would think these companies would learn and stop these freaks from telling them how to run their businesses.

You can have my Dunkin Donuts styrofoam coffee cup when you pry it out of my cold dead fingers.

After I empty it first of course.

They see their control stating to slip away and it has them panicking.

You don´t want styrofoam cup for your coffee? Hey, no problem, come over to the coffee urn and cup your hands under the nozzle...

That should cure the snowflake´s problems...oh and on the urn is a sign "Use of your hands to get coffee negates your ability to sue for damages."

A group of Iowa businessmen filed a lawsuit Wednesday against United Airlines over the death of a giant rabbit after a flight from London to Chicago. The businessmen filed the lawsuit more than three months after airline workers found the continental rabbit, named Simon, dead on April 20. The animal had been placed in a United kennel in Chicago´s O´Hare airport while awaiting a connecting flight to Kansas City, where his new owners planned to pick him up. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages to cover the costs of the rabbit as well as punitive damages. Attorney Guy Cook represents three

The chief executive of Birkenstock USA has emerged as an unlikely crusader in a growing battle between smaller retailers and ever-expanding giant Amazon.com. On a sweltering evening in a rural corner of Ohio, the struggle for the soul and identity of the Democratic Party is playing out over wine, meatballs and recriminations about Hillary Clinton’s defeat in last year’s presidential election. As I wrote last week, my broad read on American public opinion on "social issues" is that most people are in favor of inclusion, but that most people dislike being told that they ought to change what they, personally, are doing. So naturally there have been efforts by social conservatives to frame transgender rights issues as being not about inclusion but about imposition on the broader public: That people are trying to make you or your child share a bathroom with someone of a different sex. But I don´t think this is winning over the public. Polling from the Public Religion Research

When many middle-aged people think back to their childhood, they remember roaming the streets with their friends during long, hot summers. Our parents threw us out the door in the morning and instructed us not to come back until dinnertime. Often in charge of younger siblings, we strayed further than we should have, got into trouble and, by the end of the summer, had a collection of triumphs, scars and memories for life. But surely such memories are just nostalgia? The bit about the sun always shining probably is. Yet one thing is certain – the level of parental involvement
