How ‘GMA’ hides George Stephanopoulos’
‘little-boyish mini-legs’

George Stephanopoulos may be a giant in the news business, but “Good Morning America” has changed its set to cover up his diminutive size. “He’s 5-foot-6 and is dwarfed by human trees Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan,” says an insider. “ ‘GMA’ initially thought using an anchor desk with elevated chairs would help the problem. Still awkward, George’s little-boyish mini-legs were seen dangling.” (Photo) So a month ago, a silver panel was added across from the anchor desk at midlevel, covering up where Stephanopoulos’ feet rested on his chair, which up to then had been “visible and awkward.” Reportedly, Stephanopoulos

President Trump´s sweep of the Rust Belt last November caught the Acela corridor off guard, inducing months of rumination from people with elite diplomas in coastal cities hoping to diagnose the Democratic Party´s decline in its historical strongholds. One would be hard pressed to find a congressional district more representative of this shift than the district of Rep. Sean Duffy, R-Wis., which covers rural parts of central and northern Wisconsin. From 1969 until 2010, the district re-elected Democrat David Obey time after time to represent its interests in Washington. But a changing economy has hit the district hard, shuttering paper

The Treasury Department is ending an ineffective Obama program that promised to help millions of Americans save for retirement, the government announced Friday. Treasury announced the myRA program would be phased out, after costing taxpayers $70 million though few Americans used the program. Former president Barack Obama used his 2014 State of the Union address to launch the myRA program, with a promise to "help millions" to save for retirement. Two years later, only 20,000 had signed up. "The myRA program was created to help low to middle income earners start saving for retirement," said Jovita Carranza, U.S. Treasurer. President Trump lashed out at the senators who voted against repealing Obamacare early Friday morning, accusing them of letting the American people down and once again promising to let the law implode. John McCain of Arizona, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Susan Collins of Maine. All Democrats and independents voted against it too. Robert Mueller’s appointment as special counsel of the Russia election interference probe presents an opportunity for the FBI to inspect the Democratic Party computers that U.S. intelligence concluded were penetrated by Kremlin-directed hackers, cybersecurity analysts say. The Democratic National Committee did not allow the FBI to physically inspect its machines, including servers. There is no public indication that any government agency has ever looked at the machines, prompting some former intelligence people to question the findings. Instead, the DNC — and thus the FBI — relied heavily on the conclusions of counterhacking firm CrowdStrike, which the Democrats invited in to

Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) were expected to vote against the "skinny repeal" -- a bare-bones repeal of only the individual and employer mandates as well as the medical device tax; the latter has drawn bipartisan criticism over the years.
