Russian Lawyer Who Met With
Trump Jr.: I Didn’t Have Clinton
Info They Wanted

Original Article

MOSCOW — The Russian lawyer who met with Donald Trump Jr. during the presidential campaign denied in an exclusive interview with NBC News that she had any connection to the Kremlin and insists she met with President Donald Trump’s son to press her client’s interest in the Magnitsky Act — not to hand over information about Hillary Clinton’s campaign. “I never had any damaging or sensitive information about Hillary Clinton. It was never my intention to have that,” Natalia Veselnitskaya said. When asked how Trump Jr. seemed to have the impression that she had information about the Democratic National Committee, she

Part of the information she put together for her client included details about a company run by a former U.S. citizen. She believes this company didn’t pay taxes in either Russia or the U.S. and may also have made donations to the DNC.

These details are what may have tweaked the interest of Trump’s campaign, she said.

In the meeting, she explained how Trump Jr. asked her just one question.

“The question that I was asked was as follows: whether I had any financial records which might prove that the funds used to sponsor the DNC were coming from inappropriate sources.”

So she admits that Trump Jr.’s apparent reason for taking the meeting was his belief (based upon information from someone?) that she had negative information on the DNC/Hillary.

Why would Donald Trump Jr. think that the Russian lawyer might have information concerning collusion between Hillary Clinton and the Russians, unless the British guy who was acting as her agent to set up the meeting had not told Trump Jr., that bogus fact in order to get her that meeting with Trump Jr.?

Before this is over chances are good that we will find that the British guy is connected to others who are connected to liberal Democrat opposition research. The Magnitsky Act is a law passed by Congress and there is nothing that Trump Jr., could do about that to favor the supposed Russian position on it, either back in June 2016 or now. In fact chances are good that Trump Jr., never heard of that law or the reasons behind that law before she started talking about it in the meeting. Smells like a set-up.

The lady may well have problems with the Russian government now, as Putin has been saying all along that Russia did not collude with Americans to interfere with the election, and it appears that her British agent may have told Trump Jr., that the Russian government was colluding with Clinton before the election to get her that meeting.

Oppo research is not a crime. It isn´t even considered unethical anymore. (Remember the guy who moved into a home next to Sarah Palin´s home just so he could observe and report? The media weren´t too upset with him, were they?!)

I think Donald Trump Jr. was led to believe this woman had some info useful to the campaign. Once he realized she didn´t, he terminated the meeting. Apparently the woman´s suggestion that a firm tied to the DNC failed to pay either Russian or American taxes wasn´t significant enough for Team Trump to dig deeper.

Talk about a nothingburger!! This is an entire McDonald´s restuarant full of nothingburgers!!

The Left is lobbing this stuff at POTUS and family to prevent tax cuts and health care reform. If they can get rid of President Trump, then that´s even better in their eyes.

But the LSM aren´t reporting NEWS. Stalin would be proud of them.

In the most significant escalation yet in the wrangling between Congress and the FBI over the Trump dossier, the House Intelligence Committee has subpoenaed the bureau and the Justice Department for documents relating to the dossier, the FBI´s relationship with dossier author Christopher Steele, and the bureau´s possible role in supporting what began as an opposition research project against candidate Donald Trump in the final months of last year´s presidential campaign. The subpoenas are an indication of growing frustration inside the committee over the FBI and Justice Department´s lack of cooperation in the Trump-Russia investigation.

President Trump’s pardon of Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Supporters may see Mr. Arpaio’s case as an example of a deplorable trend: the criminalization of policy differences. The Arizona lawman got caught in a fight over immigration policy. The sheriff was faulted for trying to enforce the immigration rules that Congress failed to rewrite but the Obama administration didn’t seem terribly keen on enforcing. If his office did disobey court orders along the way, he nonetheless lacked the intent necessary to escalate the matter to criminal contempt of court from a lesser civil contempt charge. Opponents of the pardon see racism in Mr.

The worst fears of flooding have been realized with Harvey. Close to three feet of rain has already fallen in Southeast Texas, and there’s still more to come. It’s the most extreme rainfall the region has ever witnessed. On Sunday evening, brand new bands of torrential rain were forming southwest of Houston and appeared on-track to strike the city overnight. Rainfall rates will almost certainly exceed three inches per hour over the already-submerged city. That threat prompted the National Weather Service to re-issue the flash flood emergency — the strongest flood warning it can issue — in effect through around 1

These major moves on the labour and energy files came over the weekend at the second round of NAFTA renegotiations in Mexico City. One group
