The Times ‘exposé’ on Donald Trump Jr.
is a big yawn

New York Post, by Michael Walsh

Original Article

Posted By:gertrude, 7/10/2017 1:33:16 AM

The news was delivered by the New York Times in the breathless tones that might announce a cure for cancer or the discovery of life on Mars: “President Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., was promised damaging information about Hillary Clinton before agreeing to meet with a Kremlin-connected Russian lawyer during the 2016 campaign, according to three advisers to the White House briefed on the meeting and two others with knowledge of it.” To which a rational response is … who wouldn’t? And also: so, what? A third response is unprintable.

Comments:
The Times has lost its mind.

Does the Slimes believe that Illary´s campaign didn´t talk to anyone and everyone trying to dig up dirt on Trump? Does it believe that she didn´t use classified information to further her campaign?

We all know that the famous lying "Dossier" was created and publicized at her request. Do they believe that the Russians weren´t involved in that little scam? How else did they come up with a story that took place in Moscow, without the help of the Russians?

And while we´re at it, perhaps the Slimes could take a closer look at the uranium sale.

Lets be honest here. If a Russian called Hillary´s camp saying they had damaging information on Trump no way would Hillary staff meet with the Russian. Not because the meeting isn´t against the law but it would be "unfair"...What political campaign would seek damaging information on its opponent?

If the Russian lady back in June last year told Donald Trump Jr. that she had information that the Russian government was colluding with the Democrats to help Hillary win the election as a pretext to get a meeting with him, she may have a problem with Putin in Russia, as Putin has said many times that the Russian government did not collude with any Americans regarding the US election.

Trump didn´t become the candidate until July. The meeting was in June. They keep saying that the meeting took place when Trump was the candidate. Many sources saying this, or am I wrong?

The Slimes wants the headline; the veracity and meaning of the article´s content is nothing to the Slimes as long as the article is anti-Trump.

My suggestion to the Slimes: Start reporting that Trump has met with extraterrestrial aliens -- and that they gave him his hairdo. The Slimes would be more believable.

This is not news. This is not educational. This is not entertainment (unless you are a masochist). The blurb under the Must Read link says its fiction, but the NY Slimes is billing this as fact. What is it then? Only one answer: Lies.

This is not going to end well - it isn´t the reporting by the NYT that is critical - it is the findings by the FBI and the special counsel - and that seems to be moving along

What can the Special Counsel say about this meeting? That it was ill-advised (even though it wasn´t)? It was no crime for Trump´s son and associates to attend this meeting with someone who presented herself, at least, as a private individual. She misrepresented the purpose of the meeting and who she was. How does that implicate the Trump campaign?

THIS broke on ZeroHedge and if it is true, the DNC servers were hacked directly with a usb thumb drive. The timezone logs show the location of the server was eastern time zone and NOT Russia nor Hungary as US intel has stated. PLUS, the data transfer rates were orders of magnitude too fast for even the fastest internet connection indicating again, the transfer of data took place directly on the server. It also indicates a Linux boot from a usb thumb drive ON the server. If the evidence is correct, EVERY SINGLE PERSON involved in the Russian hacking meme is guilty of multiple federal crimes(of which, of course, none will be tried nor convicted). Stand by. If this is true, it proves beyond doubt the Deep State was GOING TO destroy Trump if Hillary won to show you and I our places and warn anyone from ever standing up to the Deep State.

Even educated people will fall for a statement said with expression. Like , he drank over 100 gallons of beer since we have been married!
Sounds like a lot, until you do the math and find out they have been married for 5 years and that would be less than one beer a day.
This is a technique to paint someone in a bad light by enemies.

It is ironic, but somehow fitting, that the illness of one of the worst men in American political life should be the thing that might save the Republican Party from the ineptitude of its leadership and its own cowardly instincts. I´m referring, of course, to John McCain, a man who´s been in the public eye since his Vietnam captivity in the 1960s and has contributed exactly nothing since to the country he professes to serve.

One hundred and fifty-four years ago, the nation was electrified by the news out of Mississippi: after a long siege, the Confederate stronghold of Vicksburg, commanding the heights of the mighty river, had fallen to Ulysses S. Grant. Coming the day after the federal victory at Gettsyburg, it turned the tide of the Civil War and preserved the union for Mr. Lincoln. It was a national birthday present like none other. Gettysburg gets most of the attention, as well it should: the three-day struggle between North and South in a small Pennsylvania town was the greatest battle ever fought on the American continent: bloody,

If you want a visible symbol of all that’s wrong with Washington these days, look no further than the 6-foot-8-inch frame of James B. Comey Jr., whose DC circus act finally closed on Thursday with an unctuous performance before the Senate intelligence committee. Seeking to take down the president of the United States for unceremoniously firing him, the former FBI director succeeded primarily in embarrassing himself and the bureau. Call him the Biggest Loser. But Comey’s not alone.

It was a busy week. But squeezed among Kathy Griffin’s career self-decapitation, President Trump’s Paris climate-accord pullout and the media’s anticipation of James Comey’s upcoming testimony, the really important news got crowded out: the weaponizing of the intelligence agencies against the Obama administration’s political enemies. As part of its investigation into the alleged Russian hacking of the 2016 election, Republicans on the House intelligence committee have subpoenaed records from former CIA Director John Brennan, National Security Adviser Susan Rice and UN Ambassador Samantha Power regarding a different issue: the promiscuous “unmasking” of the names of American citizens in widely disseminated (and

Let’s cut right to the chase: James Comey should have been fired immediately following his disastrous press briefing last July, in which he candidly laid out the case against Hillary Clinton over her mishandling of classified information and then refused to recommend charges. Overstepping his authority while radiating sanctimony, arrogating power while clumsily intervening in the election, Comey deserved to be sacked on the spot.

WASHINGTON — President Trump said on Wednesday that he never would have appointed Attorney General Jeff Sessions had he known Mr. Sessions would recuse himself from overseeing the Russia investigation that has dogged his presidency, calling the decision “very unfair to the president.” In a remarkable public break with one of his earliest political supporters, Mr. Trump complained that Mr. Sessions’s decision ultimately led to the appointment of a special counsel that should not have happened. “Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me before he took the job and

The Minnesota cop who shot and killed an Australian bride-to-be opened fire on her after being startled by a “loud sound” near his patrol car, investigators say. Officer Mohamed Noor, 31, began blasting at 40-year-old Justine Damond, of Minneapolis, just moments after he and his partner, Matthew Harrity, heard the noise in the alley behind her house, according to the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. The agency provided an update Tuesday on their investigation into the Saturday night shooting. Officers Noor and Harrity had been called to Damond’s home after she called 911 to report a possible sexual assault happening

Heading to church one evening in late March, a farmworker and her sister were stopped for speeding in the village of Geneseo, N.Y. They were driving with their five children in the back of the minivan. Two were not in car seats, as required. The police officer, trying to cite the driver for the infractions, discovered she had no driver’s license, so he called Border Patrol to review her Guatemalan passport. Both sisters were undocumented immigrants. They were detained and are facing deportation. Under a Trump administration that has taken an aggressive stance on illegal immigration, the moving car has

President Trump sat down with Russian President Vladimir Putin for a second discussion at the G-20 summit in Germany this month — a talk the White House never disclosed, according to reports. The talk came hours after their two-hour bilateral meeting on July 7, towards the end of a “couples-only social dinner” at the summit, National Security Council spokesman Michael Anton told CNN. Trump and Putin conversed in the room where the dinner was being held. “No staff or Cabinet were at the dinner at all, for any of the countries,” Anton said, adding that translators were present. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) has been diagnosed with brain cancer, the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix said Wednesday. The tumor was discovered after the senior Arizona senator underwent a minor procedure last week to remove a blood clot from above his left eye. "Subsequent tissue pathology revealed that a primary brain tumor known as a glioblastoma was associated with the blood clot," the hospital said in a statement. “The Senator and his family are reviewing further treatment options with his Mayo Clinic care team. Treatment options may include a combination of chemotherapy and radiation."

They are going out less often.” Cornell didn’t mention President Donald Trump by name, but he talked about a shift in behavior this year and mentioned “border towns” -- where retailers for years have depended on shoppers from northern Mexico for higher revenue.

The U.S. special counsel investigating possible ties between the Donald Trump campaign and Russia in last year’s election is examining a broad range of transactions involving Trump’s businesses as well as those of his associates, according to a person familiar with the probe. The president told the New York Times on Wednesday that any digging into matters beyond Russia would be out of bounds. Trump’s businesses have involved Russians for years, making the boundaries fuzzy so Special Counsel Robert Mueller appears to be taking a wide-angle approach to his two-month-old probe. In an ill-timed, ill-focused interview with the NYT, President Trump revisited his disdain for Sessions, his first, most-ardent and most-loyal supporter in the Senate. When supporting Trump was still considered career suicide, Sessions donned the red cap anyway. Maybe it will prove fatal for Sessions’ career, after all.
