Lawyers for Sarah Palin and New

Lawyers representing former Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) appeared in federal court in Manhattan on Friday for an initial hearing in Palin’s lawsuit against the New York Times for defamation, following the Times’ editorial accusing the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee of inciting violence. The Times ran an editorial on June 14 of this year following the attempted assassination at a Virginia baseball field that left Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) critically injured. In that editorial, the newspaper accused Palin of inciting violence when her political action committee circulated a map with cross-hairs in various places, talking about “targeting” certain Democratic races

Sarah Palin deserves to be rewarded with an Ambassadorship or similar sinecure. She is a visionary who brought US: Death Panels; drill, baby, drill; the TeaParty wave election; elected senators Rubio and Cruz among others; consistently generated threads at Lucianne.com of over 100 replies. Our beloved Sarah is an American heroine.

A small point. The so called cross-hairs are in the printer´s world called registration marks. They do NOT have crosshairs.
Their use was an unfortunate error by an over zealous aide.

The marks are also erroneously referred to as bullseyes, which they are NOT, a term used to describe the black circle center usually used at archery or gun ranges.

The Washington Post reports that, although President Donald Trump and his staff were hesitant to campaign in Alabama for establishment-friendly Luther Strange, Swamp Republicans forced the president’s hand — fearing that a victory for Judge Roy Moore would motivate several allies to retire from the Senate rather than face Breitbart-backed challengers in 2018. From the Washington Post: White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly, who has tried to control what information Trump receives about the Alabama race, was initially wary of the president appearing with a senator who might lose. President Trump received glowing praise Thursday from Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani for the new war strategy, which was credited for turning around the 16-year war against Taliban militants and other radical Islamic terrorists. “It is a difference of day and night,” Mr. Ghani said at a meeting with Mr. Trump. “The cloud of uncertainty has been lifted, but equally important is your commitment to a political solution at the end of this process.” Mr. Trump announced the new strategy a month ago. It included setting long-term goals for the war effort, sending more U.S. troops to train and assist the Afghan military and
