In a new interview, Pope Francis said he fears there are “very dangerous alliances between powers who have a distorted view of the world,” including such an alliance between the United States and Russia. Pope Francis told his interviewer, the Italian journalist Eugenio Scalfari, that he was worried about the G20 summit, which brings together leaders from 20 of the largest economies in the world, along with finance ministers and central bank governors. “I’m afraid that there are very dangerous alliances between powers who have a distorted view of the world: America and Russia, China and North Korea, Putin and

Good grief Pope. Would you rather all these nations be fighting each other in world war 3? The more prosperous these nations are the more they can help lift up others.

This is a perfect example that "infallibility" is limited to matters of faith. Otherwise, the Holy Spirit has nothing to do with it.

The Pope, being raised and living in Argentina most of his life, certainly has some unique views on things. He also has trouble putting his message into words and action. He´ll say one thing one day and act the opposite way the next day or vice-versa.
It comes off in a very confusing way.

To understand a lot of what Pope Francis is saying, read A Guide to the Perfect Latin American Idiot by Apuleo, Montaner, and Vargas (1996, Madison Books). The Latin American Idiot (i.e., leftist politician) believes life is a zero-sum game. Therefore, he believes, we are poor because someone else is rich. Wealth cannot be created, only stolen. Et cetera.

And, I furthermore suggest to the rest of the world to ignore this Communist Pope who may be the cause of the Catholic relgion´s demise. Lets see. He´s banished several cardinals (conservative cardinals) to posts of nothingness, replacing them with marxists; not that this is his fault, but aleged (sp) party time-spa time if you prefer-gay cardinals in action, and quite possibly, taking out Cardinal Pell with charges of child molestation in Australia. (Have serious doubts about the latter). So, he´s now appointing ultra left wing replacements for men who wanted to follow the teachings of the church. When Pope Frank writes/or speaks, I turn him off. I am a practicing Catholic. I do not have to like or obey him. No Catholic is bound to this Pope or any other Pope. We used to look to the Popes for spiritual guidance. Not this Pope.

Adjustments could put the total audience ahead of the previous year´s low, but the 8.2 overnight rating among metered market households is down another 2 percent from the previous year. That means that the final tally for the 2017 Emmys, hosted by Stephen Colbert on CBS, is on track to slip below the 11.3 million viewers (and a mere 2.8 rating among adults 18-49) that tuned in during 2016. The Big Idea: If I had to stock Hillary Clinton’s new memoir in a bookstore, I’d be tempted to place it in a section on self-help or bereavement. “What Happened” was quickly strip-mined for political nuggets after its publication last Tuesday. As I went through it over the weekend, though, what struck me most was how the wounded Democrat coped after her crushing defeat last November. In short, Clinton has read voraciously and eclectically — for escape, for solace and for answers. The collection of works that she cites across 494 pages showcases a top-flight intellect and would make for a compelling graduate school seminar.

People who claim to be shocked that Donald Trump is prepared to make an amnesty deal for the"Dreamers" -- most of whom are Mexicans who entered the USA at around the age of six -- are being more than a tad disingenuous. The president has been hinting as much for over a year to anyone paying attention. In fact, it´s hard to conceive how he could have done otherwise, considering the (excuse the cliché) "optics" of shipping 800,000 young people back to a homeland they may never have seen. The question is what your definition of amnesty is. It´s a

Hillary Clinton rejects the idea that a June 2016 meeting between her husband, former President Bill Clinton, and then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch critically damaged her White House bid. “I just don’t buy that,” Clinton said in a PBS interview aired Friday evening to promote her new book, “What Happened,” about her loss last year to Donald Trump. As Clinton has in several other, recent interviews promoting the book, she heaped much of the blame on then-FBI Director James Comey. Comey led the Justice Department investigation into Clinton’s use of private email servers as secretary of state, after Lynch stepped back

Liberal Brown University is set to offer segregated dinners for black and Muslim students on the tail of recent Antifa protests that have turned violent over the last few months. Purporting to offer “racial reconciliation,” Brown administrators took a $300,000 grant from the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) to “break down racial hierarchies and create a positive narrative about race in the community,” the College Fix reported. The money was supplied by donations by liberal organizations such as the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, and Newman’s Own Foundation. There will be two separate segregated “dinner discussion groups,” one for African

Another day, another radical judge. As the Gateway Pundit previously reported, a U.S. district judge may actually refuse to rescind Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s conviction despite the fact that President Trump pardoned him. Arpaio is 85 years old. (Photo) The White House announced on August 25th that President Trump pardoned former Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio. In a filing Thursday, U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton wrote she wasn’t convinced that she should drop Arpaio’s conviction, The Washington Post reported. Instead, she may only drop the criminal case and let the conviction stand–unless she can be convinced otherwise. U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton
