In a new interview, Pope Francis said he fears there are “very dangerous alliances between powers who have a distorted view of the world,” including such an alliance between the United States and Russia. Pope Francis told his interviewer, the Italian journalist Eugenio Scalfari, that he was worried about the G20 summit, which brings together leaders from 20 of the largest economies in the world, along with finance ministers and central bank governors. “I’m afraid that there are very dangerous alliances between powers who have a distorted view of the world: America and Russia, China and North Korea, Putin and

Good grief Pope. Would you rather all these nations be fighting each other in world war 3? The more prosperous these nations are the more they can help lift up others.

This is a perfect example that "infallibility" is limited to matters of faith. Otherwise, the Holy Spirit has nothing to do with it.

The Pope, being raised and living in Argentina most of his life, certainly has some unique views on things. He also has trouble putting his message into words and action. He´ll say one thing one day and act the opposite way the next day or vice-versa.
It comes off in a very confusing way.

To understand a lot of what Pope Francis is saying, read A Guide to the Perfect Latin American Idiot by Apuleo, Montaner, and Vargas (1996, Madison Books). The Latin American Idiot (i.e., leftist politician) believes life is a zero-sum game. Therefore, he believes, we are poor because someone else is rich. Wealth cannot be created, only stolen. Et cetera.

I suggest the Pope stay out of politics and spend his efforts to clean up the messes within the Church/religion he leads. And, I furthermore suggest to the rest of the world to ignore this Communist Pope who may be the cause of the Catholic relgion´s demise. Like Obama, this Pope appears to want to "transform" in his own image.

Lets see. He´s banished several cardinals (conservative cardinals) to posts of nothingness, replacing them with marxists; not that this is his fault, but aleged (sp) party time-spa time if you prefer-gay cardinals in action, and quite possibly, taking out Cardinal Pell with charges of child molestation in Australia. (Have serious doubts about the latter). So, he´s now appointing ultra left wing replacements for men who wanted to follow the teachings of the church. When Pope Frank writes/or speaks, I turn him off. I am a practicing Catholic. I do not have to like or obey him. No Catholic is bound to this Pope or any other Pope. We used to look to the Popes for spiritual guidance. Not this Pope.

Robert Mueller’s appointment as special counsel of the Russia election interference probe presents an opportunity for the FBI to inspect the Democratic Party computers that U.S. intelligence concluded were penetrated by Kremlin-directed hackers, cybersecurity analysts say. The Democratic National Committee did not allow the FBI to physically inspect its machines, including servers. There is no public indication that any government agency has ever looked at the machines, prompting some former intelligence people to question the findings. Instead, the DNC — and thus the FBI — relied heavily on the conclusions of counterhacking firm CrowdStrike, which the Democrats invited in to

On Wednesday night, I received a phone call from Anthony Scaramucci, the new White House communications director. He wasn’t happy. Earlier in the night, I’d tweeted, citing a “senior White House official,” that Scaramucci was having dinner at the White House with President Trump, the First Lady, Sean Hannity, and the former Fox News executive Bill Shine. It was an interesting group, and raised some questions. Was Trump getting strategic advice from Hannity? Was he considering hiring Shine? But Scaramucci had his own question—for me. “Who leaked that to you?” he asked. I said I couldn’t give him that information.

President Donald Trump’s Wednesday announcement on Twitter that transgender men and women will not be allowed to serve in the military “in any capacity” was not a complete surprise: Last month, Defense Secretary James Mattis announced that the military was hitting the pause button on an Obama-era plan to welcome openly transgender people into the military. But the announcement was a legal land mine. The Trump administration may soon learn that singling out a class of people for exclusion violates the constitutional guarantee of equal protection under the law. And as to those transgender soldiers already serving openly, any effort

Let’s review a few recent developments. Last week, Sean Spicer, the White House press secretary, resigned. This was part of a “White House shakeup” to get the Trump administration back on track. The new communications director, Anthony Scaramucci, would fix the White House’s “messaging problem.” Within 24 hours of Scaramucci’s appointment, the president returned to Twitter and unloaded another torrent of political bombshells, including talking about his power to pardon, even as his attorneys were denying that Donald Trump was thinking about pardoning anyone.

President Donald Trump has been attacking his attorney general, Jeff Sessions, daily. There have been brutal attacks on Twitter, in media interviews, and during speeches. Conventional wisdom is that Trump is getting ready to fire Sessions or hoping Sessions resigns. Conventional wisdom also assured everyone that Hillary Clinton would win in a landslide, the only question being by how large a margin. Trump´s complaint is that his attorney general should not have recused himself from the Russia hacking hoax and that he is dragging his feet on long overdue investigations and prosecutions: Deep State leaks; unmasking; DNC and Clinton collusion

Filmmaker Michael Moore says he tried to Hillary Clinton that Michigan and Wisconsin voters might lean toward Donald Trump before the 2016 presidential election but claims no one would listen. Moore appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday night to promote his upcoming one-man Broadway show, The Terms of My Surrender. But the Michigan resident took time to discuss the current political climate, saying he ´never wanted to be more wrong in my life´ when warning people about Trump voters. ´I was trying to warn the rest of the country, out here, people who voted for Obama

President Donald Trump’s dramatic decision to exclude so-called “transgender” people from the military is a direct rejection of the progressives’ revolutionary demand that Americans’ society should be remade to eliminate all civic recognition of the two different-and-complementary male and female sexes. (Tweets) The Wednesday decision was greeted with anger from the left, which had hoped that the military’s 2016 endorsement of the transgender ideology would push the Supreme Court and legislators nationwide to impose and establish the unpopular claim that a person’s changeable choice of “gender” is more legally important than their biological sex. If endorsed by the courts, that

Senator John McCain fired away at Donald Trump´s decision to ban transgender people from military service – and also for announcing a 180 degree turn on a complex issue via Twitter. The Senate Armed Services Committee chairman said in a statement that the military should welcome capable people ´regardless of their gender identity.´ He made the statement hours after his own dramatic return to the Senate for an Obamacare repeal vote, after getting a brain cancer diagnosis. Trump praised the former Vietnam POW for his action, although he went after McCain´s time as a POW during the campaign.
